Tuba time
-I like how Zoey doesn't even question Ravi going to the park to read the GB handbook. -Wow, Young Levi is a dick. -We learned something about a ranger's grandparent? Nice. -This kid is actually a decent actor. -Why did Ravi not take that tuba out of the trash? -Oh hey, the data chip plot. -An unmorphed Roxy fighting the rangers? That's kinda cool. -Nevermind, she morphed. -Tubatron sounds different than the usual monsters. -Training montage. -Again, maybe Ravi should've taken it out of the trash incase the kid changed his mind. -Roxy turning Tubatron on Blaze? I actually didn't expect her to go that low. -Cue theme music.
Break.
-Damn, that looked like it hurt. -Oh look, Ben and Betty. -The dust joke was actually kinda funny. -Shaw hates the rangers having hobbies, I guess. -And that's more like a Ben and Betty joke -Ravi's an artist? -There's your speech of the episode. -I kind of want to see Steel try and play the tuba. -Oh look, Steel and Nate used the wrong morpher. Again. -And there's the cheetah speed. -Wow... that is incredibly goofy. But on the other hand, it's Power Rangers. I can let it slide. -At least they remembered Steel and Nate have different blasters.
Break.
-That looks busted. -And it was. -Gigadrone time. -The Striker Morphers can record? -"You're busting my brass" was that a reference to what I think it was? -I'll never get tired of Go-Busters footage. -"This really blows!" "Just like your music!" Okay, that was good. -Zord time. -MEGAzord time. -I like that the finisher really does feel like a team effort, even if that is something they just carried over from the Sentai. -Oh, this should be good. -Oh look, somebody besides Ben and Betty got covered in slime. -Why are Ben and Betty afraid of a 12 year old? -I gotta give them credit for not having the kids all be friends at the end like usual.
As far as bullying episodes go, this was pretty good. It did at least some things different, and wasn't too in your face most of the time.

A good episode today. I like the moral Ravi aught the little kid. And boosting his confidence in himself. Roxy had some good lines too. Along with working on getting the rest of the beast powers. The fights where good original and sentai footage. Overall a solid episode around.

Every time I saw dust or gunk come out of the instruments, I had memories of The Muppet Show.

"Bum! Bum-bum!!! Bum! Bum-bum!! Bum, bum-bum! "Bon, bonjour!!" Sorry, I couldn't help it. I was getting some serious Go-Busters flashbacks. Still, good episode.

I really enjoyed this episode - though, as an instrumentalist and music teacher, seeing Ben and Betty "cleaning" the instruments made me cringe.

-Oh look, somebody besides Ben and Betty got covered in slime. Ben and Betty did better with the tuba than the kids.
