Going by the fact that the colours are being referred to by Gems, I think it is safe to say that the colours for the Rangers will be Red, either Blue or Black, Green, Yellow and Violet.

I just hope we DON'T get a female Purple Ranger. I've encountered people who think purple is a Girl Only color and no guy should ever wear it. One ex-friend even stabbed me in the back by making fun of me for having purple as a favorite color.

^ I was only naming purple heroes from Toei Tokusatsu shows. Toei are great at defying these absurd color stereotypes.
It sounds like he should learn to have a more open mind.

Ya I wouldn't take purple as just one gender color. As in many shows etc... there been many guy and girl characters who wear purple. So I would consider it a gender neutral color. Vs say pink which is more identify ad a feminine color and what not.

At least we know the colours for our Rangers, but as Sapphire can either Blue or Black (depending on the type of Sapphire), there is a fifty-fifty chance that this team could be the first team with no Blue Ranger. Four of the five colours (Ruby = Red, Emerald = Green, Topaz = Yellow, Amethyst = Purple) are confirmed. Is Sapphire the Blue Ranger or the Black Ranger? We shall find out in December when the suits are officially revealed.

^ Patranger was the first team with no blue ranger. I think you mean first season with no blue ranger.
Emerald = Green is not confirmed. It was Black in Goggle Five.
Amethyst may be pink or violet.
This is also just a rumor, so nothing about the colors is confirmed at all.

Plus for all we know this rumor could be false. But we should be getting official look and confirmed stuff what in next few weeks right. So let's see what ends up being real or not before we bash this or that may be good or bad.
