Spoilers for AoS came out & states Jon's next role is in that shit event Beast Planet later this year probably threatening that he'll join his crappy Titans book after the event.
Even without issue 6 out in 2 days I'm just going to say it now: Adventure of Superman: Jon Kent was a piece of shit series & a colossal waste of time. Literally all it was was a self-congratulation with a nothing plot. Who even asked for "Jon Kent gets stuck on Injustice & is an indecisive prick until the last second as we abandoned the whole Ultraman plot because fuck you Pre-Bendis Jon fans"?
Seriously Taylor is basically the new Bendis.

Meanwhile JSA's latest issue leaked a week early and we find Helena is trapped in our present as an anomaly, having nerfed her own timeline, so she shacks up with the existing JSA. No doubt Zdarsky will forget about her when putting together Gotham War.

Well seems like AoS #6 was the wake up call everyone needed as it is getting dragged on most social media outlets. Like it's astonishing that before this it was all about painting one side completely as the bad guy (Yes Bendix was obviously worst but there was no hesitated thoughts when it came to the Revolutionaries history & how shady Jay came off), Yet we do the "both sides are bad" argument for Injustice of all things with Jon giving a hug to the Psychopathic dictator "hoping he'll change" (which we know means nothing & that universe will only be free when He-man shows up to save everyone later) & him going "Well I understand why my dad didn't do more. He'd become Hitler otherwise!".
At least the validation of people finally agreeing this direction & writing for Jon sucks is nice.

Leaks from ASM#31
Felicia and Peter break up. Felicia didn't think there was a future with Peter being more a project than a real relationship, it's also implied that, because they didn't have anything toxic going on, that there was nothing to work on.
Felicia drops in on MJ and gives her the Jackpot costume and the motivational speech she needs to become a super hero, MJ says she finally understands Peter's "great power" mantra (which is absolute horses*it, she always understood it and loved him because of it). MJ and Paul are shown to share a bed, but they sleep pretty distanced from one another and they have no intimate or joyous moments together, he's miserable, she's miserable. I don't think they've really been depicted positively together even when the kids were around.
Madame Masque was apparently killed at the wedding of Beetle and Randy. Shotgun wounded Tombstone, setting up the gang war event.
A few other stories saw Doc Ock haunted by visions of Superior Spider-Man. Apparently he solved an equation in that role and now he wants to become Superior again so he has those memories back.

Like there was his teacher who he killed after annoying him during the whole story featuring her, He has at least 2 kids (but nobody remembers Thrust), & His pretty boy clone is stuck in a bottle in Larfhleeze horde. Good to hear Perry's doing better. Really pulling a JJ during BND except probably more to Superman's benefit. |

Just finished the annual, a pretty great read, loved the callbacks to Cat's past with the Toyman and the death of her son, I also wasn't expecting the return of Red Cloud from the Bendis era
