Over in Superman & The Authority, we get little cameos from the TARDIS, HG Wells time machine, and the back end of the deloreon as part of Clark's collection. We also get confirmation that the original Authority saga occurred in the DC Universe. Midnighter reveals taking up Supes' offer to join the team was his anniversary gift to Apollo. Also, Nat Irons battles a living internet which unleashes fake news androids, actual trolls, and edgelords.

Sinister War#3
Black Cat turns out to be Mysterio in disguise, other Sinister Six members come disguised as Wolverine and Human Torch.. Wolverine is actually the Lizard and he gives the game away too early. Doc Ock gets his tentacles on Peter, Peter tries to appeal to Ock, telling him this is not who he is, Ock is about to snap Peter's neck when the Savage Six intervene. Soon enough, all the groups attack one another, all to lay claim to their prize.
Kindred's final 'surprise' is the return of Sin Eater. Kindred revives him yet again, and from his reanimated corpse launches several demon centipedes that infect inmates at Ravencroft, the inmates, which include some members of the Lethal Legion, Juggernaught and Morlun, break out and accompany Sin Eater, who corners Spider-Man in an alleyway after he manages to barely make it out of the graveyard, with something of an assist from Boomerang.
The final page highlights all the characters that stand a chance of being 'redeemed', Beetle, Ock, Mysterio, and Boomerang...could it be that, with Peter and one other, they can form a Spider-Man Six?

Tynion begins his weekly series of 'tell all' essays about 5G on his newsletter, begining with when he found about 5G, and that it would bring to an end the 'fifth era' of the core Batman continuity that had been established by Grant Morrison and Scott Snyder. Tynion saw his pitch as an opportunity to close out all five eras that he had solidified in his own headcanon. Robin this week was great. The tournament is about to begin & Damien has a chase with the former Robin's. Nearing the end after beating all but Dick they have a heart-to-heart with Damien's loss of Alfred before Dick let's him go to attend the tournament. With all the Contestants present we engage in a free for all. May the best assassin win....

The Superman book I've been looking forward to has finally arrived in the form of Superman '78. I honestly think i liked this more than Batman '89, Vendetti does a good job capturing the essence of The Donner films though I will say Brainiac does feel....I dunno uncanny? when dropped into this particular version of Superman's Universe. Still great though.
