Peter Tomasi will have two new books coming in August and December
Spidey Daily Strip: Peter finds to his relief the customs officer is reprimanding him for putting a liquid refreshment in a carry-on item. Peter then remembers he's wearing his costume under his clothes and is glad noone's asked for a strip search, otherwise he'd have difficulty explaining a 'Halloween costume' in the middle of May!

The New WCA is really just a thinly veiled continuation to Kelly Thompson (who is writing the book) Hawkeye run. Which is fine that book was pretty good with a sizeable follow to have it last 20+ issues but it's not WCA. Like I'm not mad I'm just bummed that once again a good portion of well-known Avengers are push to the wayside for something that ultimately has nothing to do with the material.

Hawkeye: Long time fan-favorite from Young Avengers who's been getting better exposure over the years. America Chavez: Interdementional Latina Lesbian with the ability to punch holes to other universes. Had a terrible ongoing which depicted her as a Loudmouth, Moronic bigot but was written better in titles like Young Avengers & Ultimates so she's in safe hands now. Gwenpool: Former One-note joke on the popularity of Gwen Stacy & Deadpool turned Critical & Fan darling with a smart, charming series that delves into the ideas behind comic staples. Kid Omega: A pain-in-the-ass character from the Morrison era of X-Men. He's gotten some love thanks to Jason Aaron's Wolverine & the X-Men & Generation X which depicts him as a punk but with a hint of goodness in him now & again. Fuse: Kate's boyfriend. Probably a tool (joke) |
