Three Jokers#2
Babs and Jason have their kiss, Babs tells them that was a mistake but she wanted to let Jason know how much she cares. Earlier in the book, Jason is abducted and tortured by the two remaining Jokers after he finds thousands of Jokers in a chemical swimming bath, who all later attack Bruce and Babs. The Killing Joke Comedian Joker then springs a cancer-stricken and dying Joe Chill from Blackgate prison, ties him up and begins recording him, he wants to know the real reason he killed Thomas and Martha Wayne
Legion#9
It all ends in a big kiss between Jon and Imra...after Imra goes the whole 'I'm reading your mind and can tell you're horny for me' route

The farce of a trial of the LoSH concluded today once proof of Crav Nah being a dick is taken to light as Dream Girl & Doctor Fate express concern on the importance of the LoSH as "A Great Darkness is coming" (because that's the only Legion story DC bothers to remember at this point.)
Character points:
-Shadow Lass's origin remain the same as all her other iterations.
-The continuity nightmare of this Legion's duration continues as Dawnstar's audition footage shows them in the classic Cockrum/Grell designs....when nothing of this team really matches with that iteration. Oh she also joined because she once again fought against Bendis's crab people (good god there are other hostile species than crab people!)
-Bouncing Boy is still a mathematic expert.
-Invisible Kid's origin's are explored & are radically different to the original stating he's from "Kit-Son" (a reference to artist Barry Kitson) & exists on a different plain of reality where everyone's Invisible & joined because his world goes unnoticed from the UP. Neither Lyle nor Jacque connect to this because their invisibility comes from a formula & both are from Earth. Especially when one is named Jacque Foccart...
-Mon-El is still a dick
-Monster Boy has a name: Arune Singh. He also transformed into the Space moby dick from the famous Adventure comic story.
-the White Which origins are an amalgam of both OG where she was trained by the Mystics on Xerox & from the Reboot is a child of Mordru. But for some reason she's not Mysa. She's "Xola Aq"...why?
-Most Legionnaires joined the team to try & make a difference despite their mistrust of the UP.
-Timber Wolf's origins are explored more as Brin was a subject to make a super solider to protect Zuun but was too late.
-Jon & Imra hook up for what will probably be 3 issues
Next time is probably the shipping issue which I'm not looking forward to nor the stupid "New Krypton" stuff.

Death Metal: Multiverses' End...so pretty much every major Crisis antagonist did what they did because Perpetua gave them a nudge.

Three Jokers continues on & leads me to go "where exactly is this going?". I assume with Joker getting Joe Chill involved he/they are trying to make a Joker that'll personally hurt Batman to his core but I feel like that won't be the case since we gotta keep Joker's anonymous background going.
Some positive I'll give Three Jokers is that I like that the book has been addressing Barbara's physical therapy since it feels more preferable than "cybernetic spin" they did go with or whatever. Not sure what to think about JasonxBarbara. I'm surprised to see some folks like that ship but it honestly feels weird to me since well....Jason barely interacts with the Batfam anymore...like on super rare occasions. Hm.

I got this from tumblr user Spandexinspace & goddamn man. There is just no real care put into this title & it's sad. Like this honestly makes me respect & appreciate Dan Slott's Fantastic 4 a lot more now.

Geoff is writing the best Babs I've read all year. Provided he isn't busy (which is very unlikely), he's my pick for Batgirl once the title is relaunched at some point. He can bring his Jason 'ship with him if he wants, seeing as he's handling it rather tactfully, I can see why people like it since both are bonding their emotional scars from Joker attacks. I can see Geoff's angle and why he thinks they'd be a good match, Babs feels she can relate a lot to Jason given what he was put through, And in Geoff's own personal timeline, they could become husband and wife, if the mention in his story from Detective#1000 is an indication

Yeah be careful what you wish for. I've seen some folk get tired of Johns style & everybody's been hating Babs as Batgirl since 2011 regardless of the writers so it's not likely to happen.
Anyway F4 this week is back to our regular programming as we finally explore the secret history of Iceman as a member of the F4. Outside of some liberties with the dialogue I really like the feel of this issue. The flashback does honestly reads as something from that Stan & Jack era that I could see happen in the early days of the F4.

ROFL, in the same week as Babs and Jason share a kiss in Three Jokers, this week's issue of Batman: The Adventures Continue ends with Babs not only being tranquilised by Jason, but Jason also admits that he finds her 'obnoxious' Bruce Timm's done a variant for Batman/Catwoman#1
