He! looks! so! cool!
I don't really see any sort of theme to him tho. Maybe a dragon?
An evil dragon ranger in a dinosaur series. Now why does that sound familiar...

Is there going to be an opening and ending theme?
Probably won’t get anything until it airs...

Episode 1 of "4 Week Continuous Special Super Sentai Strongest Battle!!" yadda-yadda-yadda. Long name, huh, but I have to say, the plot is thin as a paper. This looks like another Super Hero Taisen movie, divided in four parts. In fact, I think they are stealing the plot of Chou Super Hero Taisen. I was expecting a little more, but action!!! is what the specials is about. By the way, why nobody tell me that Nana Asakawa, ex-SUPER☆GiRLS, (and not Nana ASAKA) was here? My brain was melting, telling me "where I know this girl?", and "She looks incredible familiar". That face, teeth, smile, that body...proportions. . Her cutesy voice was driving me crazy too. So, Nana ASAKAWA, is Rita, from planet Nemesis, huh! Well, for the important:
- Gaisorg, our new "villian" (let's see if he becomes good with the time) is fighting the Gokaiger (minus Luka). He defeat them pretty easily, even Marvelous, when he notices Gaisorg used the same fighting style of Luka (plot point!). Gaisorg said he wants to battle "the strongest of the Universe" (oh, come on! cliché counter: 1) - Next, Keiichiro/Pat1Gou, in a glorified cameo, is in GSPO HQ, where he called for the magic golden ticket of the Last Action Hero (joke!), which it claims, if he participies in a tournament, he gonna receive a wish. Keiichiro wants World peace (cliché counter: 2). He is teleported to planet Nemesis, to the Nemesis "palace", which looks like the Bandora's palace (Rita's castle in MMPR) refitted, surrounded for more structures (and CGI). I think this is an important point. - In Nemesis palace, Rita (Koichi Sakamoto working in the series, makes me think: the reference is not casual, and it could be a plot point) tells to the teleported Sentai Rangers (we see Takaharu, Kagura, Stinger, Marvelous, Yamato, besides Keiichiro, among, hilarious taller stand-in actors) why they are being summoned: a tournament, where the Sentais are divide in teams of five, promising that the winner will have one wish granted (cliché counter: 3). Of course, they are divided in teams for common traits or weapons: Keiichiro lands in Serious Team, there are Archer team, Swordman team, Vehicle Team, Police Team, etc. Our five main characters are the Oddball team, I dunno why, because Marvelous is not an oddball, and the rest, well, Kagura is a little odd. The battles are one-on-one, or in teams, the winner is the team who reach a gem. - The Oddball team presents themselves, except Marvelous, who looks grumpy (we could figure it out the reason, but cliché counter: 4) The first battle goes Yamato vs Keiichiro. Both battle a little, then Kei-chan mentionated his wish, prompting Yamato to tell his wish (off-screen, which, knowing the japanese, could be a joke and cliché counter: 5), and Keiichiro lets Yamato win the battle. Kei, pal, come on, the World Peace is not important? Whatever. Other battles happens, the important one, beside the MC fight, is SwordMan Team, where DekaMaster/Kruger with Takeru/ShinkenRed fight and win against Archer Team's Yellow4 and Blue Dolphin. - Then the Super Strong Team, who defeated the CurveBall Team, are attacked by Gaizorg (not surprising, cliché counter: 6). Again, "the strongest of the Universe" stuff, Marvelous reacts and mentions his encounter with him. Rita, hearing the conversation between the MC, mentioning she is gonna fortified the security measures. Rita Batman-izes from the room, suprising the Sentai Rangers (plot point!). Well, a mysterious character called Rita couldn't be Evil, isn't? (cliché counter: 7) - In the next round, Takaharu and Stinger fights Vehicle Team's Eiji/Bouken Silver and Sosuke/GO-On Red (I dunno how the planet wasn't destroyed by the encounter of two hyperactive, brain-dead Red Rangers. Imagine if Daigo was there. The Universe could collapse). Sosuke almost beat Takaharu, but the Ninninger plot armor probably is still active, because Takaharu barely flinched when Sosuke used a finisher on him. Some comedy starts when Eiji and Sosuke demorph with a small hit. They eat vegetables, more comedy (cliché counter: 8), and Team Oddball wins the battle, grabing the gem in the distraction. During the battle, they notice a force-field (cliché counter: 9), surrounding the planet, and the fact Sosuke can't call Speedor, and Eiji can't call SGS. They mention this plot point to the winning team. Then, the guests vanish. - Gaisorg attacks Stinger and Takaharu, which leads to Marvelous to make a dramatic run (cliché counter: 10). - In a cave, RyuSoulger Green and Black, are searching for an entrance. They have a ticket, but RyuSoulBlack says he doesn't have a wish. (cliché counter: 11), because they are different or plot, or something. They destroy a wall, using the gimmick of their season (cliché counter 12), and the episode finishes. Next episodes, more battles!!!
It was meh. The tournament excuse was bad. The fight are good. Takaharu being beaten gave me a smile, and the return of Marvelous is always a good thing. Everything sounded and looked cliché. I dunno how this gonna celebrate the end of the Heisei era, but well, if this gonna be the introduction of RyuSoulger, I have to watch it. By the way, Kagura being an adult, when she supposed to be a child, is odd. I'm more interested in RyuSoulger, Gaisorg dude, and Rita, because Nana Asakawa. It can't be evil, isn't?

Watched Episode 2 today and one thought I had was , man I have missed Yamato. It’s asham that it wasn’t the Lupinrangers on the receiving end of ZyuOh Final Dude, do all your posts require a tangential reminder of your resentment of the Lupinrangers? Regarding Yamato, he's not bad, but the Zyumen and Misao are better characters in my opinion.

˄ I dunno how a person could hate so much the LupinRangers, having right there one of the worst Red in Super Sentai history, like Takaharu. And Yamato is OK. I like him. Too many power-ups. Speaking of.... Episode 2 of "Something something something Battle something". The plot (if we can call this a plot) thickens: - Takaharu and Stinger face Gaisorg. The dude almost defeat them, but Marvelous pull a dangerous stunt, and he fights unmorphed. Takaharu is wounded as result, and Gaisorg retires. Yamato confronts Marvelous for his recklessness, but he brushes it off. Takaharu tried to cheer Marvelous, he did it in his second attempt. Takaharu, who writes your jokes? Amy Schumer? You need better material. Stinger decides to investigate the clue told by Bouken Silver. After this, Yamato decides to fight alone, against 3 rivals: special cameo Kakeru/GaoRed, Ginga Green and VulShark. Of course, Yamato uses his power-ups, specially ZyouWhale, which can wreck the moon, and defeat the three. An advice later from GaoRed, about trusting your teammates, and he disappears to collect his paycheck. - The purple armored guy, meets Rita, whom are watching a machine, and apparently it collects energy. - Later, Takaharu is attacked by Gaisorg, but he couldn't morph. Yamato and Marvelous talk, and the Zyuohger apologize, because he didn't act like the way he preached: he should trust Marvelous. Next battle: Ninja White and OhRed for Leader Team, and RyuuRanger and Red Mask for Martial Arts Team. Gaisorg, annoying like himself, attacks both teams, and RyuuRanger is knocked over the gem, making his team the winner. Then, Marvelous confronts once again the purple villian, and using HurricaneRed, knocks away the villian's helmet, revealing....Takaharu....Dum-dum-dum! - At the same time, Stinger enters a room, where he finds Super Sentai research, in a alien language, and some magical seal, with a magical? alien? whatever plant. Then, somebody is approaching him... - In another moment of 4 Week Continuous Quest for more merchandise!!, the RyuSoulBrothers find more collectibles, specially one resembling a Tyrannosaur (such inconspicuous!), and their ticket starts to glowing...
Episode 3 of, you know: - Takaharu/Gaisorg knockes down Marvelous, while Stinger is approached by somebody: our favorite furry Doggie Kruger. They exchange info: both reveal they are there to participate in the tournament secretly, in order to investigate Rita, and learn about her real plan (She couldn't be evil! It's Rita, played by an all-smile hot girl!). Kruger scans some texts using his Master License (I guess, he downloaded new apps in it) when they are attacked by a group of foot soldiers from the past. As they escape, Stinger is attacked by the purple guy, while Kruger finds Marvelous inconscious. - While taking him back to his quarters, Cruger reveals to the rest of the OddBall Team his mission, and Marvelous reveals the true face of Gaisorg. Of course (a big OF COURSE!!!), Yamato watched Abaranger, and he guess, Gaisorg can't be Takaharu (it's a cursed armor, who posseses people. Isn't? It's right in the title). Then, he guess, Marvelous searched for him, because Big Purple took something from Marvelous (Of course, it's Luka). Soon after, Rita announces that the next battle will be a duel between Kagura and Kruger. Another OF COURSE!!! over there, Kagura wins the fight, because her wish was stronger (By the way, she shouldn't be a little girl in the flashback? Continuity, I love you), or Cruger took a pity on her, (There is no way Kagura, who barely have a fighting style, could surpass one of the best swordmaster of Super Sentai). Before leaving, Kruger entrusts her with his Master License, with the translated text, and a D-Wapper. - Soon after, Gaisorg attacks her, but Yamato and Marvelous arrive to fight the Armor of Darkness 2.0, and they win using power-ups, and different modes. The fight was great, specially, Marvelous using the DenziRed key. They found Stinger inside the armor and yaddda-yadda-yadda, cursed armor that possesses its wearer. Look, that point was preeeeeeeety obvious. That thing needed a better twist. They learn Rita's true objective: to revive Dai Satan (Oh, come on! She is evil? Shocking!). Yamato, again, guess Luka, was also possessed by Gaisorg, but they don't have a clue about where she and Takaharu are. Marvelous, being awesome as he is, allows himself to become possessed, to find them. - Meanwhile, Ryusoul Green and Black, in another episode of their boring adventure, disappear because their ticket started to glow. Then Kamen Rider the First enter the cave, watches the Tyranno toy, and (cue to start playing Roundabout from Yes): ←to be continued-
Well, my expectations were pretty low, but this thing still dissapointed me. It's somewhat less fun than Animal War, and that miniseries was atrocious. I guess, they don't want something more interesting, and challenging. The references are OK. The cameos are meh. In fact, I thought RyuuRanger and Ninja White actors (Keiichi Wada and Satomi Hirose) gonna appear, but I guess it was just their voices. The fights are great, a staple of Koichi Sakamoto, but the plot...well, let's forget about that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't even bothered to just watch every single episode to come out individually each week. I waited until all of the episodes are available to watch in a complete set. That way, I can get a better experience in watching a mini-series and let the story be done in one from beginning, middle to end.
Anyways, enough of that crap, time to review the mini-series, itself.
Oh and... *SPOILER ALERT!!!* like you would give a damn nowadays. PROS: -Takaharu's acting has improved (thank God!) -Kagura is less-annoying in this mini-series than she was in her own show. -The chemistry between our main heroes and the supporting characters is impressive. -Loved the fight choreography in the individual matches. -The theme song is awesome. Thank you, NoB! -The finale isn't all that rushed.
CONS: -Eiji and Sousuke's defeat. -Gaisorg being an evil suit of armor that jumps from user to user. -Stinger and Rita's out-of-nowhere romance in the final episode. -Rita taking Kagura hostage in her final battle with Ryuusoul Green and Ryuusoul Black.
That's about it. Overall, this a good mini-series. Even better than literally everything that is going on in Kamen Rider Decade and Kamen Rider Zi-O.

Well, I'm late to the party, but I'm finally here. Let's see... Episode 4 of "The return of Captain Marvelous and his dull friends". Rita gonna release a reference which gonna destroy the Universe! (insert Cap America meme here) - Marvelous uses the helmet of Gaisorg, to find the whereabouts of Luka, and that thing called Takaharu. Meanwhile, Yamato and Stinger face Rita: she wants to destroy the Universe, because she doesn't believe there is justice. She came from a planet with no resources. Most people in there, felt in evil, and the heroes lost, therefore that lead to the destruction of her civilization. As no one come to help, she lost faith in eveything and everybody. So, she became cynical, and a nihilistic. Man, that was a good backstory. Very depressing. Stinger tried to reasoning with her, telling his own backstory, and about his brother Scorpio. She didn't want to listen, and blast the two away. - Marvelous, still possessed by the armor (at least the helmet) reaches Luka and Takaharu, frees them, but almost kill them both. Of course, Luka blast the helmet off with a shot. And she wake him up, kicking in the nuts, to the surprised faces of Kagura and Takaharu. God, I missed the Gokaigers so much. But, Mao, again with the short hair? Let it grow, please. - Ultimate Dai-Satan is resurrected by Rita, using another reference of ZyuRanger/MMPR, throwing the staff, and all. And it breaks the ground, how cute. Very '90s. Sadly, she didn't say "let my monster grow!". Again Yamato and Stinger are blasted. These two can't catch a break, uh?. Rita calls her minions (past Super Sentai foot soldiers), but the other three arrived, and the final fight starts. The five morph, great roll call, and use the power-ups: Yamato, the three Instincts Awakened fused, like the final battle in ZyuOhger, Marvy-Chan uses the Gold Mode, Stinger uses the Unicorn Kyutama, Kagura, finally, uses Hyper alone, and Takaharu uses Chou- whatever, I calling it, Lion Fire Mode (Hehehehe). They fly, for some reason, but they are blasted, again. They demorph from his power ups. At the same time, Luka destroy the energy shield around the planet, which allows Marvelous to call the Gokai Galleon, and make it rams Dai Satan. Marvelous, stop being so awesome. Of course, Marvelous won't going to listen me, and remembers the Akaranger's words. Using AkaRanger's Key, perform the final attack GoRanger Storm with a Final wave with the rest of the characters, destroying Dai-Satan for good. Geez, he is such a lightweight. The Rangers demorph from exhaustion. - Rita, not happy (when somebody called Rita is happy), called the Gaisorg armor, and.... she can control it? Whatever. She tries to kill the weakened Rangers, but two Rangers stop her: RyoSoulGreen and RyoSoulBlack. Doing more than preceding weeks, they use their not Zyudenchi!, gain some Armed mode, and save Kagura, who was used as a shield by Gaisorg+Rita. The RyuSoulgers retires. Everybody happy, and Stinger arrest Rita, assuring there is hope for her. Man, I feel pity for Rita, actually. - Everybody high-fives between them, except Marvelous, who is awesome, and he doesn't do high-fives. Suddenly, he remembers he had to pick up Luka. Never make a lady wait, specially Luka Millfy, Marvelous. At the end, they say good-bye, but Takaharu delivers a small fragment of one of the purple gem to Yamato, to fullfil his wish. Kamen Rider the Reboot, finds the collectible from a couple of weeks ago, which is activated, and it's the Tyrannosaur one. Call me crazy, but I think it's important. Probably. THE END.
Man, what a mini-series. It got better with this last episode, but just a little. I think the plot is meh, merely a excuse to fight. The action was awesome. I would like more development with Rita. Her motivations were pretty good, but everything was rushed at the end. Dai-Satan was wasted. Weird: the only Mecha used was Gokai Galleon, and not in Robot mode, only to ram. I like it for being different. And it's always great to see Marvelous. It wasn't great, 7/10 for me. Now, let's wait for RyuSoulGer....
