Finally a decent episode! Was acceptable, but Skyfire have a lack of character development. Just like..."Hi, my name is Space Sheriff Skyfire, and I'm here to fight against the Rangers because Odious told me them are thieves. Then I'm joining the Rangers because I almost kill an old woman. Now the Rangers are my BFF's, I got to go, bye-bye.". The end.
This briefly adaptation of Jiraiya could be 2 episodes at least. I hope this means a possible adaptation of that Go-Buster vs Gavan Team-up.[/spolier]

Credit to SUNGEL from RangerBoard Voltipede, the monster of the day, steals electricity around the city, causing major electric failures to cars. His beam touches Victor, giving him electric super powers. Yes, you read that correctly. Victor has electric super powers now. Calvin helps a lady with her broken car until a mechanic named Joe comes in and notices that Calvin is very good with cars. Joe wants to hire Calvin. Calvin is overjoyed with the proposition and says yes, thus giving up on his studies for good. During various repair jobs, Calvin notices that the problem is always electric, never something else.
Voltipede attacks again and Calvin fights him alone. The other Rangers arrive with the Lion Zord but it is hit by one of Voltipede's beams. The Lion Zord crashes somewhere.
Calvin wants to repair the Lion Zord with the help of Mick. We see the inside of the Zord and Calvin notices that it will be difficult to repair since its technology is more advanced. So, erm... pipes and smoke are more advanced ? Really ? Meanwhile, secret agent 00 Sven from Sweden heard about Victor's powers and wants to hire him.
Voltipede attack again, Calvin defeats him with the Lion Armour. Right before that, Brody tries to use the Fusion Star, but he drops it on the floor. Tynamon comes in and picks up the Star. Voltipede is gigantified, Megazord fight, boom.
Agent 00 Sven asks Victor to recharge the central. He succeeds but he loses all his power in the process.
Calvin realizes that studies are more important right now and tells Joe that he will focus on that for now.
Tynamon gives the Fusion Star to Odius.
Seems like a fun episode Definitely great set up for the finale. I just hope it all adds up to a great ending

I'll just summarize everything important that has happened since Episode 16. Episode 17 - Tynamon wants to create a giant warrior using the Skullgators and the Fusion Star he stole. However, the Ninja Stars only react to the voice of their wielders. So he steals Levi's voice and Levi gets his voice. Preston's attempt to undo it with magic backfires and Levi becomes a kid. Tynamon combines 6 Skullgators with the Fusion Star and it crushes the Megazord. Levi, outcasted by his voice, bonds with a young redhead named Rose. Preston is able to figure out a way to fix Levi and Mick helps him unlock Superstar Mode. The monster is destroyed by the Ninja Blaze Ultrazord, a new formation in reaction to the team's past defeat. Episode 18 - The Rangers are working on mastering the 5 Elements Barrier Technique, a move that combines the 5 Elements to trap an enemy in a dome like barrier. Tynamon is revealed to be a small man who dreams of becoming big. And meanwhile, Odious has a new plan different from the Power Star hunt, to dominate the universe. She has invented a device that outputs a signal which will change someone's personality. Taking advantage of Tynamon's fear about his size, she tells him that if he uses his small size to get Mick on her side, she'll grant him size. She gives him the device and he is able to use his small size to infiltrate the team's base. He does and hits Mick with the device, as a reward, she gigantifies him, but he is destroyed by the Rangers. Mick tells them he's gotten word that his parents are sick and he must go see them. In reality, he is being controlled by Odious. Her device lacks the range to control everyone. So she wants Mick to build a satellite to spread the signal. Episode 19 - Mick finishes the satellite and Odious plans to spread it through a televised broadcast. So she books a monster named Gorrox to fight the Rangers, having him infiltrate the school in disguise as a famous tv producer. He gets students including Hayley, Victor, and Monty to audition. Due to Calvin messing up, Hayley fails the audition and Victor and Monty are taken to Odious' ship. Calvin and Hayley fight and break up. The Rangers defeat Gorrox and a vengeful Brax by combining the Ninja Steel Megazord with the Rumble Tusk, Astro, and Sub Surfer Zords. However, its too late. Odious broadcasts Victor and Monty's clown shenanigans worldwide, embedding her signal in the broadcast. People worldwide are brainwashed, including Calvin. Odious has given up on the Power Stars and Galaxy Warriors. She instead intends to conquer worlds with an expendable army of the Billions who obey her. Starting with Earth, the Rangers find her, Badonna, Mick, Basherbots, and her human army, standing in their base. Some actual nice plot progression. Went in a pretty nice direction. Hopefully things wrap up well in the finale. Oh yeah, almost forgot Dane is in Episode 19. I guess, Thanos' snap was undone.

OK, episode 19, here I go... The episode wasn't bad at all. But using Victor and Monty for hypnotize people... ugh, come on, more and more and more bullshit with them! And, if that wasn't enough, dressed as clowns. The Hayley and Calvin breakup was good, those two can´t be happy couple forever, and they must breakup. But I bet they will be back together in the next episode. Brax' defeat was too fast, he deserves a final battle in the final episode. And the Megazord fight was good. And the hypnosis scene, reminds me of RPM, when the hybrids were activated and everybody flashing their eyes. We have here a "Judd Lynn's style" scene. The big screen on the building hypnotizing the people. Just like "Countdown to Destruction", "Danger and Destiny", and "End of Extinction". Looks like we will have that kind of scenes meanwhile Mr. Lynn continues as Executive Producer/Writer. Is not bad, but it's getting annoying. Meh! 5/10

So the finale aired and...
Based on descriptions, I’d say it’s an okay finale. On par with Samurai for the Neo Saban era’s 2nd best. Dino Charge had a strong front while Ninja Steel did have its moments (Aiden arc), so many wasted plot lines all over the map. Both finales end with them becoming one with the Nexus. It was almost expected to be as simple as that.
Props to Odius for being better than Galvanax. I actually like Odius a bit and she is one of the better characters in the more recent years. Heckyl still holds up better for me, but honestly I’m not sure how Ninja Steel could be changed.

So basically there is only one opening theme and sequence for this season, which is a first and a last for the Neo-Saban era! First being that they have not done this type of thing in this era, and a last because this is the last season of this era! I was hoping for a updated opening theme with Superstar mode and something to replace the galactic ninjas in the villains part of the sequence in the last 3 episodes, but sadly, we never got that... But what if Gulli has an updated sequence for the last 3 episodes, and Canal J just has that one opening to use to not spoil stuff... actually, I think Gulli will use the only opening and we just never have an updated opening theme...

has that happened before from canal j and gulli airings one not showing current or updated theme video on same episodes? Any clue when any of the markets are likely to drop the halloween/xmas episodes?
