...They aren't all from different dimensions. They straight up say in the episode that only Dino Charge and RPM are in different universes.

I wanted to love this episode. I really did. But that was so terribly rushed that it didn't even feel special.
This was BARELY better than Legendary Battle. And I'm personally offended at these comments claiming it was better than Once a Ranger. Adam, Tori, Kira, Bridge and Xander all got lengthy unmorphed solo fight scenes, a chance to use new zords, full morphing sequences, and lengthy battle scenes with the Overdrive Rangers, capped off with updates on their personal lives that referred back to their own seasons.
In this one, Rocky didn't DO anything. Kat didn't DO anything. Trent, TJ, and as always, Gia...nothing. It's been twenty years since we've last seen some of these people, yet we didn't get ANY information on where there lives are now. Instead way too much footage of the Ninja Steel team. Where did Tommy gets this super morpher? Why did they feel the need to tell us he has a kid, and not even if he has a wife/girlfriend/baby mama? Who is is Drayvon, since apparently every prior team has encountered him at some point? And he must be weak as all hell if he gets destroyed simply by their blasters, especially in giant mode. No Tommy interactions with Kat, Rocky or Trent?Where was the PLOT?
The fight scene was a little better than Legendary Battle's since there were some ADR lines, but that's it. Both consisted of roughly two minutes of way too many rangers swinging their weapons at once.
Things I liked tho: Wes, Koda and Gemma got some decent screentime, and that little fistbump at the end makes me BroTP ship Koda and Gemma hard. While the lack of explanation sucked, Tommy's mega morpher or whatever was cool. And using the Falconzord was awesome.
It was just all flash and no substance, unfortunately. I'd say this one needs an extended edition more than Legendary Battle, honestly.

So I Guess Sledge (in EP01) was only there to explain there are more dimensions? or does SNS have more surprises for us?

Saw it.
Not bad, not as well paced as Forever Red was (and that had the same time limit restrictions), and there was JDF overkill, but I had a blast watching it. The Ninja Steel Rangers got the focus where it was needed, the Tommy against RoboTommy fight was great (especially the extended version), and the final battle against the clones, while very one-sided, was a rollercoster. People bitch about anniversaries all the time, and this is no different. I won't be that guy for once, I'm going to enjoy it.

Brad I didn't think it was that bad really it's issues was so much in 1 episode like forever red. But it was way better then 20th anniversary.
Also as for dimensions stuff we have prime universe where mm-jf, samurai, mega, steel are all from. DC and rpm are there own dimensions. Then the anti universe drayvon is from.
As for extended cut. No it didn't air last night. It was just the regular length version. All we know is there talks of extended cut. And hopefully it will air on a nock channel or be uploaded to Netflix soon.

It was extra footage from the Tommy vs Tommy fight that didn't make it to air.

I don't think the existence of one deleted scene necessarily confirms an extra cut exists. Don'tget me wrong, I desperatley hope there is one cuz this was a rushed mess, but I wouldn't really call that concrete proof.
And I gotta say, if there is an exteneded version it really bugs me that they didn't air it last night. They went through all the trouble of getting a special time slot on the anniversary all to not give us the true full episode?

Difference being that was a two parter and this is just one part. It makes no sense to complain that it's rushed but also complain that they didn't have the same amount of stuff as an episode with double the runtime... I'll give you the other ones, but Kat's married to Tommy in Reefside.

...that's what I'm saying. In OO Jackie Marchand took the time to make a well paced two parter, here they crammed it all into one. And even if for some reason they were only allowed to make a singular episode, they could have cut back on the Ninja Steel team fighting in the temple (seriously, why did we need to watch the whole bit with Sarah tying Brody to a chest?) to at least give a margin of screen time and characterization to people like Rocky or Gia.
As for Kat, as I've said elsewhere, we don't know that. We know Tommy has a kid in reefside and we know she was briefly holding Tommy's hand. (She also wasn't wearing a wedding band...) We can infer that they're married, but in a good teamup we wouldn't have to infer. It's sad how the "they're married now" reveal was done better in "Time for Lightspeed" of all episodes.

Pretty much all of the movie footage they used was unnecessary. I'll agree there.
We have no reason to not believe they're married. Her not wearing a wedding ring is very much nitpicking. They showed that they were together, some people just want to look for ways that they're not married instead of accepting what we see on the screen.

But that's the thing, what we had on screen was so minimal. He didn't seem to care about her being kidnapped whatsoever. He hugs Wes, and not his alleged wife? The ring might be nitpitcky, but it's still a universally recognized symbol of marriage that they opted NOT to feature. Kat doesn't say, "We need to get home fast my son might be in danger!" or anything ofhe sort.
Show them worrying about each other, embracing each other when they reunite, fighting back to back, anything. If they wanted to say, "hey these two got married" don't just leave miniscule clues and expext us to do the rest of the mental legwork. Show us a marriage.

I completely agree that they could've had something a little more obvious. But coming up with ways to say they aren't married when we did get some confirmation that they are just because it wasn't enough for you (and I'm using you as a general term here, not singling you out) is nitpicking and doesn't make a lot of sense.
Also, it's not exactly the same, but the Soul of the Dragon book coming up that takes place in the future where Tommy and Kat are married with a son of the same name has been said to be connected to the series, so if what we saw in the episode isn't enough, that should pretty much do it.

I enjoyed the anniversary episode. But judging by some clips on YouTube, there is an extended version of it as Tommy does not become DT Black in the 23-min version as opposed to clips from YT.
Nice choice of the Veteran Rangers. So anything from MMPR to Jungle Fury, including Megaforce and Ninja Steel is in one universe (let's just call it the MM universe) and RPM and DC are their own universes. So that's officially confirmed. Not only that, but looks like we've got the "New Powers" Rangers in the MM universe. We have to live with that, don't we?
It was nice seeing Trent, Antonio, Rocky, Kat, Wes, Gia, Gemma and T.J. again. Too bad they didn't do the individual morphing calls from their seasons. It'd make the episode more complete.
