Everyone’s ire is directed at Super Megaforce and while it wasn’t great by any means and some episodes and moments were downright infuriating (In the Driver’s Seat ugggh) but overall more effort was clearly put into Super Megaforce even if that effort was misplaced at times (let’s film a really expensive on location filler episode starring the Wall-E knockoff instead of using that money to re-film Sentai only teams wth Power Rangers, let’s refilm a perfectly usable ALL 6th Ranger Morph with Lost Galaxy because of an unneeded story element we created)
The first Megaforce season was just so lazy and half-assed. After the first episode we were lucky to get 2 minutes of unmorphed footage with the Rangers. They tried to shove as many Goseiger toys as they could. Robo Knight was about the only element that worked. I think it was a combo of the writing staff not wanting to do Goseiger and Tzachor wanting more action and less character. Some cool ideas like Jake trying to get famous as a Power Ranger and Troy being a military brat and playing up Emma’s hippie save the earth persona were all dropped

God what they could have done. That is a big list of things.

The first season of Megaforce could be a 40 episode season that started in the second half of 2012 and finished in the first half of 2013. It would allow the Gokaiger footages to appear in it own series.

That was never going to happen as it was made to be a hybrid from start.

Don't forget about leaving the battle to help a stupid kid get his kite off the ground! That was BEYOND stupid! They could have done something else like the monster hitting her so hard that she was temporarily stunned! And they should have had other tribute episodes like with Mystic Force. And they never explained why Jake's key was a different color! They should have gone with a different set of people!

They could have done something else like the monster hitting her so hard that she was temporarily stunned! Making her look weak is better than her being caring because? They had like 20 episodes. At least MMPR, In Space, Wild Force, SPD, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury, and RPM all had “tribute” episodes to varying degrees of success. At any rate they managed to pay tribute or homage to every season even though some were incidental It’s sad how PR fans can’t take a joke ]

Leaving a battle to do something that's not important is not good. Getting stunned would have been easier than leaving to help a kid get his kite off the ground. She could have done that AFTER the battle. But not during! And even the strongest fighters can get stunned!
