I am sure chip will say something soon. . Why? Why would he need to say anything? He’s not responsible for the lay offs. He’s not part of Saban Capital’s board of directors or public relations. He still has a job.

I meant a modern retelling of the original Power Rangers similar to the Boom Studios comics, but Hasbro could easily add new original villains for the rangers to battle after Rita is defeated.

I guess Haim put all of Saban Brands' eggs in the Lionsgate Power Rangers movie basket.

War Haim didn't put all the eggs on LG movie lol. It's not him quitting and giving up. He still has a company that is doing what ever and he still making money. And he'll yes the LG film didn't do well. But that doesn't mean the brand is dead and doom and gloom. Pr itself been doing fine merchandise which is the key part sells still in good numbers. Show as much as we fans complain is still doing well enough. Case in point in a 3 year order from nick.
Also when Saban went to hasbro to take over the toy license from bandai. We knew from those reports that there was a provision in the contract. That hasbro had an option to buy the franchise as a whole too. At the time I thought it wouldn't happen to at least after bm so hasbro can see how much sells for them first before taking over total control. So at some point from toy deal happen to full sell off Saban saw that hasbro probably had a plan and a way to grow the franchise more then they did.
Now dark as for toon again I still wouldn't want hasbro to just harp on mmpr again and again like Saban has down with the shows past 8 years. And the comics is one thing and they are doing great. If a ton was ever possible I Judy don't want it to be mm this mm that. I rather do totally original concept and team or do an anthology series of multiple teams.

Now its no Doom and Gloom for PR. I think its only the beginning. Thats why I wanna hear from Chip. They need to let him go crazy with the script. Not Beast Morpher cause Im sure that script is already done. But the series after that.... thats gonna be the one. I dont think they should dwell on the past rangers either unless they do a different series. Like a green ranger series. That would be dope animated and on Netflix which I am sure they would buy. They can go so many directions with this. I just hope they dont go the wrong way

Hasbro would easily revived this scrapped film as a animated series. www.facebook.com/powerrangersmovienews/videos/329416810602896/

Oh that's sad to hear. First Bandai leaves Power Rangers and now Saban is shutting down. I guess that explains why Hasbro now has Power Rangers. I sure hope that this doesn't end badly for Power Rangers, even though it's with Hasbro now.

The show is no where in any bad place. Ultimately this is no different from when Disney took over. As for Saban brands the company yes it sucks fir folks who are losing jobs but the company itself was more then just power rangers. They invested and bought other property brands to market and merchandise and so forth. Same goes Haim and other Saban guys are not out of jobs or going out of business either. As they have real estate and investment stuff from the Saban capital arm of the company that is still staying in business.
So yes sucks for the folks who worked just on brand side of things loosing jobs. And hopefully they can find employment soon. But ultimately power Rangers and other Saban brand ips, that hasbro got in deal will probably be fine. And on power Rangers side of things I don't believe any folks on production end of things are out of a job right now.
As most of the production end folks are based and work out of nz. Same with vo folks and so forth. And we know bm will still be shooting in nz. As for the nz crew folks after bm that we don't know. Will hasbro continue in nz or would they want to move elsewhere. Then of course after bm would they clean house and get all new crew. As for Saban brands to pr guys if any one likely gone it's Brian c guy as he was a high up on Saban brands along with being a pr producer.

That's what I was referring to was Saban brands. I mean it'll be sad to see that go. Hasbro mostly did shows that were animated. This could be the first time that they do a show that isn't animated. It should be interesting how they produce PR seasons, putting together a cast, that sort of thing. But with Saban Brands leaving in July and Super Ninja Steel having new episodes in the fall, wouldn't that hurt the show? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter since they're done filming and all but it just makes me wonder.

I doubt they will have much trouble doing a live action show vs cartoons. Yes they are more versed with cartoons and all that. But really if hasbro is keeping much of current production folks on pr for bm and what ever is after. Where hasbro likely will have more creative and production control. Vs show was already in preparation before sale and all. Really for bm with hasbro they likely will just be funding the costs for the series and leave the production folks be minus probably some minor creative insights and all that.
The question really is after bm. Will hasbro stop filming in nz and will current writers and producers be let go. And if they are let go or are let go and production moves. Then ya who knows how things could be after bm. But I would think they would know what they are doing. And if they happen to get new crew they likely would get folks who worked in live action action and kids shows.
Pink again with Saban brands closing has no bearing to return of show. As filming and all of editing of super half been done for months. Plus again Saban brands folks who are losing jobs had no bearing to power Rangers production folks. As that is a separate arm and all.

It's sad to hear these news, but is not surprising. I guess Hasbro wants to employs people of its own to promote the franchise. I want to eulogizes this era of Power Rangers saying it was great to be fan in these times. Saban (Haim and Saban Brands' people) give us, in retrospective a lot of good things and some bad things. On the positive side, we have the moment when Saban sabes PR of the cancellation, a new network with more promotion, which give PR a fresh take of air. They gives a new, big budget movie, with a interesting take, and good writing. Good comics with a new spin in classical mythology, more videogames, Hyper Force. Dino Charge was incredible fin to watch. Of course, for the bad side, the series stumbles. Samurai was shaky, but the whole fiasco of Megaforce and Super MF and the 25th anniversary gonna be remembered for the years to come. So, thank you, Saban Brands for all of your hard work. And I hope for the best with Hasbro. So, again, it's great to be Power Rangers' fan.

I'll wait to see how Beast Morphers comes off.
But as for the Saban thing they did have cool shows - In Space , Lost Galaxy , Time Force , Samurai and Dino Charge.
Hopefully Hasbro can get their A Game up as solid once Beast Morphers starts but it will take time.

Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, animated series produced by Saban and Funrise, was just in production with a premiere scheduled for fall 2018. I wonder what happened with that series. As well as other brands of Saban, such as the famous Latin band boy band CNCO or the famous brand Paul Frank.

Well, not sure of that series but I looked it up and all signs still point to it still being released as I didn't see anything new about it. As for the other brands other then Power Rangers, it did state that Hasbro did end up acquiring rights to other show brands as well. I am pretty sure that also includes VR Troopers, Beetleborgs, and Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. I would say Saban's Masked Rider and Mystic Knights too, but we never really got any official release of those series too date as I think part of the reason is that there were still some trademark copy right issues still in play. But, its possible whatever rights Saban had with those series when they reacquired Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Beetleborgs, and The Next Mutation from Disney, was also part of the deal.
