I just... don't get it! I thought Haim loooooooooved Power Rangers. I guess money talks. Time will tell if this is good or bad, but I guess the movie sequel is officially off the table. I think the movie will with both Hasbro & Lionsgate along with either Paramount or Universal distribution. I think Hasbro would do better with Power Rangers after the fails of Samurai, and Megaforce.

He does love the franchise. And in the press release for buyout pretty much states that. And he feels hasbro will help propel the franchise in bigger and better ways then just his company could. Plus it's not like Haim and likely other key figures from Saban brands and for pr TV side ie chip are leaving any time soon. As we know chip is still involved for bm. And likely other crew folks as I brought up season has been being worked on for ages prior to the whole hasbro stuff.
Plus you really think hasbro would just come right in and be able to get casting, crew and filming ready to go by fall this quick with completely new folks. Again Saban and Saban guys are still in charge for bm. And likely have more of controlling say in the show development and filming. Then come what ever after bm is likely where we see any massive changes. Bm is more then likely still going to be more Saban and Saban way in things. With little say or change from hasbro. Then as I said after bm. Is probably when things will change more. Hopefully in the coming months we will have more details on things. Heck there is still many questions we have for bm season itself.

I doubt we see hasbro slap there name in the actual show logos. Don't hey need it in any of there other shows and brands.

So Saban Brands wouldn't have Power Rangers after Ninja Super Steel is over? Ok first Bandai leaves and now this. I guess Power Rangers is changing forever. And this could also mean that after this year Power Rangers won't be on Nick anymore. Beast Morphers would probably be on Discovery Family. Since the other shows that are under the Hasbro brand like My Little Pony is in season 8 and Littlest Pet Shop has a new series are on there. Which is fine since I have that channel, thank goodness. There's also Universal Kids, and Netflix or Hulu. I've never heard of Universal Kids. I have Netflix. And Hulu is too expensive for me. So from what I'm understanding, Beast Morphers will most likely be not on tv as well as Power Rangers in general and would be an online kind of thing like Netflix, Hulu and such. That figures. Oh well it was fun while it lasted, well it being on tv that's for sure. I guess times have changed.

No. Nick has the rights to air Power Rangers until 2021.
We won’t potentially see a channel hop until 2022.

I don't have any of those channels. Nickelodeon's inconsistent scheduling probably isn't doing the show any favors, though.

I feel the same way Kypton1986.
Ok so Beast Morphers would be on Nick. I just thought it would change considering most of Hasbro's shows are on Discovery Family. I was surprised that Saban sold Power Rangers to Hasbro or was it Hasbro buying the brand? Either way I was surprised. I'm looking forward to seeing what Hasbro has in mind for the brand and the upcoming seasons.

Ya like I brought up nick current deal with power Rangers is through seasons 26, 27, and 28th. So if we where to leave nick it wouldnt be to season 29. As why would hasbro break a guaranteed place to air show. When they have a deal with nick.
And as I and others have pointed out power Rangers isn't type of show that would work just streaming. As it would get less viewers then on regular tv. Plus as we seen streaming is only a second run home for it. And that's what hasbro will likely keep Netflix deal for franchise.
Plus second point if we are complaining only getting 22 episodes a year with current nick scheduling format. Going just streaming isn't going to help on episode count. As pretty much amazon, hulu, Netflix original stuff be it kids or for all seem to be just 6 to 16 episodes max per seasons.
Sure it could move in the future but really do folks think discovery family or universal kids networks which are upper tier cable/satellite package channels get more viewers then nick can get. Hell even dxd new episodes for shows barely scratch a mill viewers. So I doubt moving to either of those channels would make for any change in viewer ratings.
Let alone new kid shows on those networks let's go for sat morning to afternoon blocks. How do they do compared to nick. Let alone how are their shows episode counts and how spread over year are they.
I as much as I hate nick current format and schedule. Think nick is ultimately best place we have for show. All we need to work on is having more episodes in year, go back to one year one series format. And as I pointed out hasbro works a lot with paramount who owns nick. Maybe hasbro would have more power to change how nick airs the show. Then Saban had when he made deal with nick.
I personally be happen to go back to Disney Era of 32 to 38 episodes. And get back to the regular Feb to Nov format and only have a 2 month break. And since nick seems to love no new stuff in summer do it June and july, or July and aug. Then we just have and few odd weeks off for day of play and no kca. Plus I said it before since it's not a nick produced show. It shouldn't have been forced into nick format. Plus the network has had other shows in past that have aired more then 20 episodes and not have such such a long mid break as true nick made shows are.
Here is another question I was just thinking of. Since currently Mar Vista handles the international distribution of the show. I wonder if with hasbro taking things over. If they will also handle international distribution too. If so I Def like to see hasbro either have the international markets air same with us. Or go back to old way and it airs months later?

I think it is safe to say that 2019 is going to be interesting to see those saying "Saban's Power Rangers" get corrected by others to "Hasbro's Power Rangers". Either way, it's the end of the Neo-Saban era (and hopefully The Super Era as well) and the beginning of a brand new era in Power Rangers. I for one cautiously welcome this news. megasnip Were the emotes necessary? No. Nick has the rights to air Power Rangers until 2021. We won’t potentially see a channel hop until 2022. And personally, I doubt we'll see them move channels unless something changes in the next three years.

I don't know why this forum is so resistant to online streaming. It's not like kids don't watch shows on Netflix and Hulu and Youtube. A lot of kids are more likely videos and shows online than on tv nowadays. Not like the ratings on Nick are any good.

There's a chance Power Rangers on Netflix could work. But it's also possible that it would get us less episodes than we already have, which is already a major complaint in the fandom. I'm not against the idea, but I don't really see it happening.
