That's a special day for me! It's not only premiere night for a play my dad is appearing in, but it's also my 14th work anniversary!

Well, this news doesn't mean anything to me since I am already caught up with the show by watching the Australian broadcasted episodes online via JEFusion. And by the time everyone else in America start watching episode nine next month, I will have already made my way onto watching the season finale ahead of time.

^ I watched episode 9 and 10 on JEFusion a while ago. I'm accustomed to the hiatus ending in August but now we have to wait until September? This is ridiculous! The hiatus was already too long. So yeah, I'll come back when episode 11 airs.

I watched episode 9 and 10 on JEFusion a while ago. I'm accustomed to the hiatus ending in August but now we have to wait until September? This is ridiculous! The hiatus was already too long. So yeah, I'll come back when episode 11 airs. I'm already caught up with episode 17. So, I guess by the time I get to the season finale, I will have already seen the first season before episodes 09-20 premiere on Nickelodeon and I might wanna go watch something else afterwards. Still, at least this season is a FAAAAARRRRR better improvement over literally ANYTHING that came from the Neo-Saban era TV seasons, except for Dino Charge. Hell, I'm willing to say that Beast Morphers (S1) is a far better show to watch than Kamen Rider Zi-O since it actually does have more effort being put into the show and the jokes here are actually funny as opposed to the weak-ass attempts at humor in Zi-O. That and unlike 90% of the main cast of Zi-O, the actors in Beast Morphers can actually.... ACT!!! No offense to the actors who played Sougo, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi, but they cannot act for shit. I know theat they were trying their best, but the script they were working with is so damn lazily-written and the delivery of the their lines are so awkward, you were left wondering if the show was secretly directed by M. Night Shyamalan in his late 2000's years back when he directed junk movies like Lady in the Water, After Earth, the Happening and the live-action Last Airbender movie. It's like you're comparing fine wine to cheap beer, and Kamen Rider Zi-O is that cheap beer, unfortunately.

^ Well I hate grapes so I'll always take cheap beer over fine wine, but I respect your opinion and I understand the point of the analogy you were trying to make.
However, I must disagree with you about the quality of acting between the Zi-O and Beast Morphers cast. I continue to be disappointed by the lack of emotion in Jacqueline Scislowski's lines. At least with Troy, the character was supposed to be an emotionless shell with no tears. Rorrie and Jazz are great.
I presume you're talking specifically about the first season of Dino Charge compared to other Saban Brands Era seasons since most people complain about Dino Super Charge. I can't judge since I've yet to watch either of those seasons but Koda wasn't as bad as I heard he was in Dimensions In Danger so maybe I should give it a chance, despite my issue with the green ranger. I mean, it can't be worse than ToQGer, Right (haha, get it)?
Like I said in the Tokusatsu subforum, I think the awkwardness of the Zi-O characters, specifically Sougo, was more of a writing problem. I noticed a significant improvement in quality when Mouri was writing. Until then, Sougo really was just "an ordinary high school student" who dreamed of being a king and Geiz had no reason to want to kill him all the time. Not sure about Tsukuyomi, she was pretty irrelevant for the first half of the show and a little OOC during the Kikai and Another Zi-O arcs.
I'm going to watch the last 2 episodes later today and leave my thoughts on the show so I hope the cheap beer doesn't leave a bad aftertaste.

I mean, it can't be worse than ToQGer, Right (haha, get it)?! Or like at the end of "Forever Red" when Serpentara was defeated by Cole's fancy new super bike because Bandai of America wanted to promote a brand new toy for the Wild Force line-up back in 2002. Yeah, the most powerful and evil of all zords that blew up an entire planet with one energy blast and was now powered by a nuclear reactor by the remnants of the Machine Empire gets its'ass handed to it on a platter by a measly ass super bike with wings. But yeah, "Dimensions in Danger" is actually pretty good. A bit too short since it was made into a 22-minute long special instead of an hour-long special. But, compared to the entirety of Super Megaforce and its' god-awful finale, this team-up episode is the least-awful crossover coming from the Neo-Saban era seasons. And that ain't saying much since it's literally the only Neo-Saban era Power Rangers crossover that wasn't being handled by Jonathan Tzachor and his lazy-ass production staff. But, man...."Once A Ranger" is even worse because it made the Overdrive Rangers look like a bunch of unlikable assholes who just gave up like a bunch of wussies, despite the fact that they still have their god-damn civilian powers. WHAT THE F@#$ IS WRONG Y'ALL?! Why is everybody in that season a f@#$'n idiot?! WHHHYYYYY?! . But, I digress. Lets just pray and hope that the writers never make the same mistakes as their predecessors did for the next season. Because I don't want another Operation Overdrive or another "Once A Ranger" to happen again in the near-future.

xman, those are some good points.
"Once a Ranger" did feature some cool scenes, but what has always worked against it is that the season it was a part of was too short and it featured too many characters, too many plots and too many storylines that crossed-over with each other. A fine example is whenever the Rangers find something valuable that turns out to have a crystal of the Corona aurora in it or is IT transforming into the crystal, it's all forgotten by the next episode. Instead of building up a mythology for the Corona Aurora with each new found item which would have lead them to the "next piece of the puzzle", it's Hartford's science/history knowledge (combined with Rose's knowldege) and technology leading the Rangers for either finding the next clue where the next item would be or directly to that same item. This is why the OO Rangers just give up despite still having their civillian powers and them not having a real interaction with the Veteran Rangers - because they would have NOTHING to talk about with the comebacks. There was no story there, their search for the items did not even come close to providing them with experiences that their predecessors had as Rangers, which would have lead to some nice callbacks to some previous seasons. This has also lead the team-up episode being just about being there because it was the 15th season and the Veteran Rangers are just basically there for fan service. Even Adam has a line where he says he can't believe that forgettable Tommy is now a doctor of scence/school scence teacher. Seriousley, except for the team-up morph and the final fight, the team-up episode does not come even close to "HIstory", "Wormhole", "Thunder Storm", "Forever Red", or "Time For Lightspeed". "To The Tenth Power" is way above "Once a Ranger" and beats it too easily. While "Once a Ranger" is a nice episode as a stand-alone (believe it or not, it's on my bottom top 10 favorite team-up list somehow, reason stated above), it didn't do justice to itself, to the season it was a part of or to the franchise.
"Foerver Red" did a lot better job on the anniversarry side of things, but that's just bacause of the good plot and story... Well, except of Diseny's "put the flying bike into Serpenterra's mouth to blow it up" request. That sucked. I mean, the MM Rangers could have come up with the re-created version of Dino Megazord and have it face the damn Zord beside the Thunder Megazord and it still wouldn't be enough until Serpenterra's battery would just decide to die.
"Dimensions in Danger" should have been a one-hour special because we got to see Rangers that we have not seen for a while (Kat, Wes, Trent, Gemma, even Antonio comes back). I would love to hear what happened in the RPM dimension since that season ended or since the events in "Clash of the Red Rangers". There's a lot of story parts introduced in the episode that were never trully explored, but they deserved to be explored. Also, what happened to Wes's Silver Guardians uniform? Or to Silver Guardians themselves? I'd say "Dimensions in Danger" is a better version of "Forever Red" and "Wormhole" and it would have been even better if it was longer or if it was a multi-part story.
With that said, I hope the next team-up is even better (the Dino-one) and all the ones after it. Because I'm only down to watch the team-ups by now and that's only because of the Veteran Rangers.
