Just looked at the press release on the Saban Brands site, and it is literally one paragraph! this is basically the shortest press release/document I have ever read!
I am sad that Bandai isnt gonna make PR toys anymore, but it's rumored that PR will have a partnership with Hasbro!

Well this is crazy to hear. I wouldn't have expected this. More so if kyuranger the next series as boa had a hand in it and all. Also be crazy to see it go to hasbro.

That came right out of nowhere. But I'm really interested in seeing what comes of this. And maybe it means better toys?
Honestly, this may put a Zyuohger adaptation back on the table. Kyuranger still has more toys to sell, but this made it less of a clear choice.

How incredibly bizarre. I can't say I'm broken up about it, though. I have developed a mostly negative view of Bandai over the years. Whether it's toys, video games, or overpriced "collector's items"... Most of the time, they just don't care.

I love to see Saban Brand go to McFarlane Toys.

I don't think McFarlane toys would seem a good idea. They gear towards the adult themed toys. I think Hasbro, SpinMaster or Mattel would seem like alternative for Power Rangers. Though it is sad to see Bandai leave Power Rangers. So would this mean that Zyuohger would be an option for Power Rangers for next year? Then again it could be Kyuranger. Either way I sure hope that they don't go back to four inch figures with very little detail, I hated that.

It's more likely it go to Hasbro. Then any of the other major toy makers. As they produce other major boy toys and likely would have a good idea on how to go about things. As for season 26/27 series even with bandai out. I doubt that makes zyuo any more likely then kyuranger. Look just on theme, amount of rangers, zords, weapons it makes the most sense for what be next series. And for who ever doing toys to make a good buck on.

They should just bring over the Japanese versions like they did in the old days
The American ones feel like cheap knockoffs anyways.

This is not going to be good for Sentai, which is already struggling financially. PR toy sales are included in Sentai's figures for the year, but now they won't be, so those will be even lower ...

They should just bring over the Japanese versions like they did in the old days The American ones feel like cheap knockoffs anyways. That's not going to happen. They already tried that with Shinken-Oh and Gosei Great and those things rotted on the shelves because no one but a few adult collectors were buying them. Parents aren't going to pay $70-$80 for a Megazord when they can spend $30-$35 for one.

So, it's already oficial? Hasbro is producing the toys. I wonder how this gonna affect the series. No more Super seasons?
