The warm feelings amongst the group were not lost on Bruce. Even though the red and yellow gems were now up for grabs, waiting to choose their new owners, the Blue Ranger was still here and even though it took almost a year, Bruce was at the point where he wasn't constantly annoyed by the Blue Ranger's antics. In addition, Bruce was beginning to embrace the idea of having his own powers, especially since he wasn't a young man anymore and if he was going to protect Gotham, he needed to remain able bodied as long as possible. Ever the hero, once the hugs and handshakes were out of the way, it was back to business, ordering Chris to rest up as they have a long day tomorrow and even though the League was gone, the fight for Gotham would never be over.

"Fuck!" The pair's eyes grew wide, seemingly in disbelief over the trio's fate. Their cause of death will be revealed but that is another story for another day.In the future, Marcus and Terry were still shocked over the fate of the trio. "So that's how they bow out, eh? T had high hopes for them." Marcus continued reading and narrowed his eyes, reading one section again to make sure he was reading it right.
"Yeah but apparently, something happened sooner than that." Terry continued reading the disc data, discovering that Chris's name was still there as the Blue Ranger, the Yellow and Red Ranger's names were different. "Look. No Carrie and no Wicz. I wonder what happened to them."
"They wanted out." Bruce responded to Marcus. "After defeating the League, Wicz and Carrie wanted to live normal lives, so I let them."
"Really? Schway! Maybe those two are still alive after all. We'll have to try and seek them out one day." Terry nodded in approval. Suddenly, a portal appeared in the Batcave, causing everyone to turn around and cover their eyes due to the blinding light. Once the light faded, Marcus, Terry, Bruce, and even Krystal got into defensive stances, only to soften them when seeing the five Dino Thunder Rangers come through the portal.
"Bruce?" Marcus asked, looking at the Black Ranger then back at the older Bruce. "I hope the timeline isn't getting screwed up again with two Bruce's in the future."
"Who said there were two Bruce's. You really shouldn't assume, Marcus." The Black Ranger quipped, leading to a smirk from the elder bat.
"Dick. I was wondering when you would show up."
"Dick? Grayson? Wait, nothing in here shows him ever taking over for you." Terry looked through the data history discs again and there was no mention of the Boy Wonder ever donning the spandex.
"Not everything is in those discs. There's still some things you don't know." Bruce replied.
"Yeah. Well someone better start filling in the blanks because I know this isn't a social call."
"I like him." Dick said to Bruce. "But yes, there's something big going down and we need your help..."
*****
Back in the present, we are now in an undisclosed location when suddenly, Adrian Steele opened his eyes and quickly sat up, clutching the area where he was stabbed, groaning for moving too fast. "Shit. Where the hell am I?"
"You're safe." The man in question was
Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke. "I guess now you see what happens to those that betray Ra's Al Ghul."
"Slade?" Adrian groaned. "You disappeared after your throw down with the Rangers."
"Strategic, kid. With the Rangers and the League, it was best to let them all beat each other up before I step in." Slade said, handing Adrian a glass of water. The White Ranger's wounds seemed to have been treated and all that was needed now for him was rest. "And it worked. Ra's is gone and with him, the League is in shambles."
"So the Black Ranger took him out? Sweet!" Adrian nodded in approval. "But with Ra's gone, the Black Ranger is now the leader of the League of Assassins."
"There are those who will never follow that man, even if he has the demon's ring. We can use that to our advantage."
"We?" Adrian asked, seemingly puzzled.
"That little bracelet on your wrist makes you a valuable commodity plus you now have an axe to grind. Stick with me and I'll make you rich."
"Ha, you had me at rich. Besides, as powerful as Ra's was, he was a relic of the past. I'm down to secure the entire bag!" Adrian exclaimed, almost completely forgetting about his injuries at the sound of money.
"Good. Now rest up. As soon as you're healthy, we get to work." Slade spoke, confirming that he and Adrian Steele were getting into business together which could only mean bad things for the Rangers whenever their paths may cross again.
