^It's another pathetic attempt to either try a push another romance which Itchy doesn't need, while at the same time is another means at making police look incompetent.

^ I don't think it's pushing a romance. Just a week ago we had an episode where Tsukasa doesn't show even the slightest jealousy about another girl's interest in Keiichiro - if anything, she approved of Umika trying to set them up. That shouldn't be the case if Tsukasa were going to be his new love interest in the very next ep. And a bridal carry doesn't always lead anywhere - the Carranger episode of Gokaiger, for instance

^Tsukasa didn't show much of anything last week. If was the same as that political dodge some use, "I can neither confirm nor deny." Then why have it? She could have just hit the ground with Sakuya and we'd be done with it. And if they were content at just making police officers look like fools then both Sakuya and Tsukasa could have landed on Itchy

^ Well, again, a character bridal carrying another isn't always leading to romantic development. I just find it very hard to believe that if the show were setting Keiichiro up with Tsukasa, they'd do it the week after an episode where he explicitly states his job is more important to him than a relationship. And that the episode wouldn't even hint at Tsukasa having any interest in him

^You know what's funny Itchy didn't show much interest in Mana either, and you think I don't know that Bridal Style carries don't always mean romance I remember Drive Kaizoku. What I am saying is, "What the **** was the point?"

^ He was very awkward around her when Umika brought him over for an unexpected "date". It looks like he liked her at least a little but thought that focusing on his job was more important. I saw someone compare him to Ichijou in Kuuga which I guess is true, but then Ichijou was that way because his father was killed while serving as a police officer, whereas Keiichiro is just overzealous

^Um mean when she played Sakuya's feelings in order to bring over Itchy and force that date on him. Speaking of Itchy never once was asked if he liked that woman. More To the point when Umika started singing there was no way to confirm if it was Mana that snapped him back to reality. More than likely it was his favorite song reminding him that he gave it to someone back in the real world. A world still threatened by Ganglars. People he still needed to protect.

^ Sakuya deserves it. He keeps creepily pining after Umika despite her lack of interest in him (AND interrupting her at her job so he can hit on her) - I can't blame her for taking advantage of him. That and he annoys me generally, I wish he were actually getting permanently fired in the next ep

^You and me both. I've wanted to punch Sakuya ever since that dumb ass leaked information about an investigation to a suspect in the investigation. That however is beside the point and regardless of Sakuya's creeping it does not give her the right to force a romance on Itchy(Who's been nothing but respectful to her)

Character info: 'Seiya also wants people to play very close attention to Kogure.' Now even the cast are calling out Kogure as being suspicious. But if it's just that Kogure is Arsene Lupin's descendant, then it's understandable that he might not want anyone to know that.

I'm wondering if Kogure is more of a threat then Interdimensional Crime Group Gangler all together. I have this gut feeling he can behind main attacks. We haven't had a epic Saw twist in Super Sentai in awhile.

Okay so I've finally returned to the show and watched episode 13-18. 13 was another filler but at least it was enjoyable and starting with 14, the story gets back in focus as the Patrangers obtain Trigger Machine Crane and Drill.
It was interesting to see Keiichirou's backstory and his reason for becoming a cop. As always, his dedication to justice is what makes me admire him as a hero and now we know why he takes his job so seriously. It's the same thing he tells the kid at the start, beating the Gangler is the duty of police.
15 has Kairi dragged to the hospital by Umika to visit the injured Patrangers and asking why Keiichirou pushed his body so far. Tsukasa explains that it's more than a job for him and how he wants to protect the safety of everyone. Kairi is usually the most sympathetic towards the Patrangers and this makes him understand and respect Keiichirou a lot more.
There was a humorous moment after Patren U destroyed Togeno and everyone was cured of the poison where Patren 1 enjoyed his health enthusiastically while his teammates collapsed on the ground still in pain from the injuries Dogranio gave them.
Pato Kaizer Strong debuts and it's pretty strong! Goodie is excited and makes some cool rhymes but also confused about why Crane has a trigger. Despite Patren 1 shrugging it off, it's probably going to be very important in the future. I'll talk about that later.
16 debuts Lupin Kaizer Cyclone Knight and I like its finisher where Cyclone becomes a bow and Blade fires like an arrow. I just don't get why they originally put Cyclone on the left side, unlike Kamen Rider W whose right side was always Cyclone except for CycloneCyclone which was just a Final Form Ride. Obviously, Scissor needs to replace Yellow since Blue is the only Dial Fighter that can hold Blade. Yellow doesn't have a hand.
Jim speculates that Ganglers' safes are their cores. How would that work for Ganglers with multiple safes like Destra and Zamigo though?
After switching with Touma, Manta complains about his new body even though Ganglers have human disguises which means he should be more accustomed with having a human appearance. According to Goche, their human disguises can be changed if their identities are discovered, so why wouldn't Manta just get a human disguise that allows him to get girls which is his motivation for keeping Touma's body?
17 is mostly filler, fortunately though it's not that terrible. However, Keiichirou still has suspicions about the Lupinrangers' identities and Destra meets with Zamigo.
18 gives some interesting backstory for Goodie. He was the first Lupin Collection piece Arsene converted for human use and his mission is to protect all of the Lupin Collection. Destra mentions how the Lupin Collection came from their dimension so it should be impossible for humans to use. Remember Goodie's reaction to Trigger Machine Crane having a trigger? I think it's possible that Arsene's work was continued by the GSPO and Kogure which would explain why the Ganglers' Lupin Collection look different from those used by the Lupinrangers and Patrangers. Destra has given one his special pieces to Anidara, the eldest of the Crush Brothers, for some kind of experiment.
Kairi learns to accept Goodie's feelings and desire to help both sides. Goodie never visits the Patrangers' HQ and they rarely interact so they can't give him the same understanding. From their perspective of morality, thieves are thieves, which makes him an accomplice for helping them. Maybe in the future, there will be more of a mutual understanding between both sides.
I don't understand how the Patrangers think confiscating Goodie would stop him from just ejecting them later, which he does as soon as the Lupin Collection piece is retrieved from Anidara's safe.
Anyway, the show has made a comeback to the quality I enjoyed from the first 11 episodes and I look forward to the surprisingly late debut of Lupin/Patren X. It's only a matter of time.

That part with Keiichirou dancing was hilarious. It just shows he's not completely serious all of the time. If the safe is the core of the Ganglar, then any Ganglar with more than one probably wouldn't be affected by the loss of one of their safes. I'm not sure how that would work with Zamigo though, who seems to have two of the same Lupin Collection item. With the Patrangers still being suspicious of Kairi and the others, maybe they'll discover their identities after the new team member is introduced.

If you thought Kairi and Kogure used a lot of French, Noel takes it to another level. He says various words like escargot, gateaux and au revoir. It's like Enter and Oren. Notice how many French using characters there are in Tokusatsu these days.
What's interesting about Lupin/Patren X's debut is that the Lupinrangers and Patrangers already find out it's the same guy. Which means his identity is no longer a secret. He actually announces he's Lupin X to a crowd and discreetly steals their cell phones causing Keiichirou to arrest him. Except Hilltop informs them that Noel is part of GSPO's French branch. And somehow, he knows all the Lupinrangers' secret identities. Both sides are immediately suspicious of their new friend/enemy.
Lupin/Patren X allows the Lupinrangers to borrow his X Train Fire and Thunder Lupin Collection pieces and Lupin Kaizer Trains is formed. Following the Gangler's destruction, X commands them back, splitting them from Goodie's body.
So what do you guys think of this new French using sixth ranger?
