If anyone wants the Super Ninja Steel poster without the 25th banner. Put under spoiler tag because it's a large image. Source: February issue of License Global (page 5). There's also a write-up regarding the 25th anniversary celebration which a verrrrrry brief mention of the power rangers special episode during Super Ninja Steel. Page 25 of the pdf linked above or you can check it out at the easier to read online version.

I wonder if the other episodes would have cameo/guest star appearances from past rangers. So far there doesn't seem to be any.

It's a little disappointing to see no cameos, and no real Anniversary elements this far into our 25th season. I'm actually not even surprised, but 8 episode descriptions in, and it's nothing but filler slop in sight.
Brody getting into trouble at school? More Sarah hoverboard focus? None of this sounds appealing. The Galactic Ninjas are the only semi-appealing aspect, and I'm sure that'll go down the drain when they're revealed to be just a bandit of MOTD's.
It really looks like the only thing "Anniversary" about Super Ninja Steel will be that one Anniversary episode. The rest will be complete filler.

An unlikely scenario is that the anniversary episode sets up a story where we get more cameos after for some reason, but I doubt that will happen.

It really looks like the only thing "Anniversary" about Super Ninja Steel will be that one Anniversary episode. The rest will be complete filler. Or maybe the Season doesn't wanna be held down by the anniversary and wants to tell its own story unlike with Super Megaforce. Wild Force and Operation Overdrive did this and yet people are pissing their pants over Super Ninja Steel doing it. I think stuffing cameos in to more than one episode is kind've dumb. Many shows feel held back by having to force in some fan favorite and in some cases it feels like this takes away from the core characters. But with Super Ninja Steel, people just can't take it. Cameos would be cool but SMF relied on them to heavily when other anniversaries of the past only used them in specials. Also "every episode that doesn't have cameos is filler" or perhaps the season is telling its own story. Take Ninja Steel proper which told a story arc (the Gold Ranger Arc) in filler episodes. Each episode felt like its own story but a new development towards the Gold Ranger came. Let Super Ninja Steel tell its own story. With Saban having an anniversary campaign, the show should embrace the anniversary and not have itself forced down by it.

I'm guessing that the anniversary episode would be the only episode that would have past ranger cameos. Which would seem kind of a shame. Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to seeing it. It's just that I was thinking that some of the episodes would have a past ranger cameo and guest star appearance.

I'm fine with that. Again, Wild Force and Overdrive only had 1-2 episodes for past ranger appearances. I wanna see SNS be itself.

For me the whole cameo thing made more sense for megaforce. Even though they botched that with only 2 rangers and then the big battle. I rather it be like past team ups that fell on Anni years ie wf and oo. The season tells it's story. Then Anni which I still hope is 2 episodes if it'd only 1 I hope for extended cut of it. Where some monster or something that ties to past teams with current goes so it has reason past guys there with new team.

Then why would they say that there would be guest star and cameos in this season yet it doesn't seem like there would be any.

Umm there was never any official statement that the returning guests would do cameos and it was only even a theory some fans thought of. Officially only thing known was pretty nuch who went to nz for filming and that there would be a anniversary team up episode(s). Again this is likely going to turn out to be like forever red if it's 1 ep. Or along the lines of once a ranger if it's 2. Where season telling it's own story. Then some big threat comes around and the x past guys lend a hand to the steel guys.

First clip for Making Waves is out:
The only interesting in this clip is the background music is different when they were morphing!
