Here comes a jolly episode.
-Updated opening! Nice! -Why the hell are they celebrating christmas at school? -That Ninninger reference wasn't nearly as subtle as usual. -...The rangers are kinda dicks if they didn't get Sarah anything. -Last time we'll see this opening! -Wow. A relative of a monster. Good thing we haven't already done that this season. -That's for reminding me how awesome Kody is. -Calvin was about to jump on her... -...Santa! -Victor and Monty are on the naughty list. Of course. -So this is where the clip show comes in. Interesting enough. -Of course you remember that day... you were just talking about it. -She believed her kind of ridiculously easy.
Break.
-That is probably the worst day she could've picked for Levi. He didn't know her yet. -"There are others" yeah, like the two that were in the prism when you got yours. -So... this is surely messing with the timeline, right? What if a monster attacks when they don't have their stars? -That's more lines than Calvin and Hayley had in that actual episode. -"Did you change your clothes" There's a reason why they shouldn't immediately trust her. -It'd be real funny if Sarah was an evil clone and she just took their power stars. -Again, this is the worst time to ask for Brody's star. He needs it to live. -Of course he isn't giving it. HE NEEDS IT.
Break. -So how are you gonna fight Galvanax with no star, Brody? -"Telling you would change the future" so would this conversation. -Now we get a battle. -Lion Fire mode is pretty badass, though... -...Why? -This is less fun since Redbot isn't his zord. -THE DAMN PRISM IS BEHIND THEM. Nobody thought to move that? -What was the point of faking not getting her a present? -Her present was something she already did...
No preview for Super Ninja Steel? BOOOO.

That was pretty foul of them not getting her a gift.

The Rangers are just giving Future Sarah their Power Stars with ease. No questioning if it's a trap from Galvanax or something, just straight up handing over their freaking Power Stars with EASE.

Ya only one that made sense was getting Levi one and she lucked out on Preston star. Getting hers and Haley and Calvin was way to easy.

So all Galvanax had to do was send a monster in disguise to say "I'm from the future!", and he could've ruled the universe.
Good to know.

I wanted a Super Ninja Steel trailer when the episode ended! That is stupid that they didn't show one in my opinion!

OK full review time first back to the usual clipshow deal. Though it was used well this time. So not to urrrgh on that. As it play into plot of time points we have Sarah going too. The family member monster thing was a good excuse for cat monster again and ya even though we had it already. It's still fun when we see family members of monsters and aliens and what not. As other said how Sarah got her, haley, Calvin stars was far to easy. Preston she totally got that with no ease, and Brody and Levi made sense with the situations at the time.
It was pretty cool seeing Brody go giant mode. Man its been a long time since we had that. Mystic force right since they turned into there zords. And then what was it evil green ranger in mm. I was happy no Victor and Monty besides in clips and sucked only time we saw mock was in past. Overall it was solid Xmas episode and no time screwing up like in DC as Sarah put things back to right time and all that.
As for the prism in the base that was a bad boo boo there lol. Though I know I asked this back in international spoilers thread. Was the prism purely a cgi creation or did they have a prop for scenes on set. If it was a set price then ya total goof from props folks. If it was just cgi then someone at six house goofed and put it in shot.

Opinions about this Christmas episode. - This has been mentioned; They handed their power stars with ease. Levi made sense, he didn't know her, But Calvin and Hayley just hand it over.
- Please stop using time travel. It's confusing and pretty sure the writers really underestimate the effects of time travel.
- Fresno Bob is SANTA?!
- Brody is an attention seeker.
- Why is the nexus thing in the background? and why is it intact? Wasn't it destroyed? Isn't this episode like after the finale?
- I got the ninninger reference, but it wasn't subtle. It kinda came across as heavy and kinda cringey. Very out of character for Preston.
- Also present for Sarah is a ride on Santa's sleigh, but she's already used it.... Got the sentiment, but what was the point? She already got to experience the ride and it's speed yet she acts like she's never rode the sleigh before? Little details are important you know writers!

This takes place "months" after the finale, from what Sarah said, so yeah. It was destroyed.

It wasn't a bad episode.
A bit of outside the box thinking went into it, and I'm not upset that they reused Cat O'Clock. I figured we'd get the "he's my cousin" explanation, but you couldn't ask for better villain to use in this scenario. While I did enjoy it, I wouldn't call it a 5... the writing still could be tweak up here.

I really wouldn't get so bent out of shape about the prism in the one acene. The franchise as a whole has made little goofs like this all the time. You can either blame it on the continuity of filming person. Or counting on if it was fx shot or a prop blame someone from those parts of production.
As for time travel this time. Hey its not like what super Dino charge did and changed history to have dinosaurs alive in 21st century. As the stars went back to there proper points in history. And likely Sarah went back to before she arrived so then time went back to normal and it's like she never appeared out of time to the rangers.
