Apparently the scripts for the new series were all written under the belief The Doctor was still a man, and that the writers didn't know it was Jodie until the reveal a year ago. Also, Chibnall teases that we'll be getting pure historical episodes

From Doctor Who Magazine:

-Chibnall says their main priority is achieving ratings on Live+7 and Live+28 formats, not direct live overnights. He admits he doesn't normally watch television live.

-The Vortex Manipulator is definitely in it, or at least gets mentioned a lot by Jodie.

-Chibnall will ground the show in a relatable reality

Some interesting stuff. Would be a little sad not to see opening theme for first episode. As for focus on delay viewers that's nice to hear from someone that live numbers are not always true look on a show.

The review embargo has lifted, the one from Radio Times is quite detailed on some characters

Hmm to move of the holiday episode. If it's not Xmas theme I don't see problem. But if it's holiday theme would make sense to air it around Xmas time. Can't wait to next sunday. Also since first episode is airing globally together evening for BBC and mid afternoon for bbca is that how it's going to be for rest of season. Or just this one time. Then rest of episodes be evening for bbca.
