Power of the Doctor spoilers are everywhere
This has a lot of great nods to 80s Doctor Who serials (Master stealing bodies, the Master disguising his TARDIS as a phone box, the 80s Doctors interacting with Tegan and Ace and making peace with them), my one quibble is Jodie doesn't get to be much other than a victim in her farewell story. Vinder didn't need to be there, and Yaz had no real reason to depart other than the Doctor wanted her to clear off and be spared the heartbreak of watching her regenerate.
The speech was pretty short, and after all the "I was fantastic" and "it's the end but..." lines, Jodie goes out with "tag you're it"...certainly a choice, but does solidify Jodie as the Ms. Frizle of Doctors.

Well special just finished in my area. I thought it was a good special. Was shocked st the amount of past doctors and all the companions who had parts in it. More then I expected. It was nice to see graham again along with ace and Tegan as maim used guys. Along with the other cameos. I for one did not expect to see cameos of past doctors so that was a nice surprised. The fights with darleks, cyber men was good too. And the master plan was a good one. And the ending well was curious how her real regeneration was going to go. But the twist there I didn't expect. Can't wait for 60th Anni specials next year. Then the start of the next doctor then.

I can't be the only one seriously confused right? Don't get me wrong I love David as the 10th doctor but this seems like a weird move to get the fan base back I can't wait to see what their in Universe explanation is for the doctor regenerating into Old forms

Well force regeneration kinda explained this. Plus if the curator from 50th Anni was really a future version of the doctors he did mention the doctor would revisit some old faces. So with Disney plus news does that mean it's leaving HBO max for streaming. And all the modern who going to be on Disney plus. Or just the start of 15th doctor series?

It’s kinda like how the new season post merger Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers started to air on FXX, and Freeform while previous seasons aired on Adult Swim, and tbs. HBOMax will still have the previous seasons of Doctor Who till the streaming rights expires.

The Disney+ deal is to stream all series of the 14th/15th Doctor eras. HBO Max retains series 1-13 of the first NuWho era, and Britbox will continue to carry the classic series.
