Mandip has great banter with Bishop here, and he and Jodie are so cute together. I'm definitely going to be 'shipping Doc and Dan

Doc and Yaz share a bed in the console room? Yeah, for Twitter that'll do just fine.
Starting in media res might not be the best idea for a lapsed audience. Mandip was actually pretty decent in her interactions with Bishop, she played a more arrogant Doctor-like role when they met than Jodie has really managed. A little disappointed the Flux is just a grand-scale Logopolis situation again, but I'm intrigued with the Ravagers, enemies of the Timeless Child era of The Doctor no doubt.

A solid start to the season. Dan was a fun new addition to the crew. The bug bad is interesting and curious to see what comes of him. Also fun seeing various other villains pop in too.

Classic Doctor Who writer Bob Baker has died. His major contributions include introducing Omega and K-9 into the series with his partner Dave Martin. He's also best known for writing most of the Wallace and Gromit shorts and movies.

The best Sontaran story in two and half decades, though I feel they were let down a bit by Dan the one man army and his plot armour. Still, that's the most effective male companion we've had since Graham shot Tim Shaw in the foot.
I'm glad they got the specifics of Mary right, not forgetting she ran a hotel. I liked the twist in that she tended to the Sontaran, and the comic relief actually died, I was expecting last minute mercy.
Swarm and his sis are the best villains Jodie's era has had. They have all the answers and change the questions.
People on twitter all saying the house was Lungbarrow!

a good episode last night. I enjoyed seeing the sontarans again. Dan is a fun different companion for the doc. And i liked him teaming again with the dog alien guy. Doctor issues with the britsh general was some good scenes too. I liked how she stop them in the past and the alien dog and dan blew them up in present. Also swarm stuff is getting interesting. Curious to see what this time planet and temple is all about.

Details from Doctor Who Magazine, out now -Flux Chapter Three is much more serialized than the last episode, which was more 'traditional' Who, this chapter will be a lot more 'multi-stranded', taking the show in a 'new direction', audiences must have 'sophistication, patience and intelligence' to be able to follow it through (in short, they're not simplifying the story for the casual viewer), Episode 3 is a 'massive jigsaw puzzle' and one of it's major influences is the movie 'Cloud Atlas' -The Village of the Angels puts the Angels in a new place, doing some challenging and interesting things -Chibnall says the show will be playing more in the sandbox that was set up by Fugitive of the Judoon. He says he's taken a 'fearless' approach to the final episode and that it's 'time to take risks' -The last shot of the Centenary special filmed was Jodie's regeneration Episode Five title revealed www.doctorwho.tv/stories/survivors-of-the-flux

I liked what episode three was aiming for, but it was a little exposition heavy, even at points where the audience could be able to work out what was going on themselves. I don't think Yaz and Dan got much to do with their experiences in the timestorm compared to The Doctor and Vinder.
The unborn kid is implied to either be The Doctor, or it's a large misdirect and it's The Master

Ya it was a good episode and I like seeing cybermen and the darleks. The whole past stuff the characters where living was a bit heavy and hard to follow at times. I feel bad cinder lost his girl and child. Hopefully he will find them. Same with Dan getting his lady back.

A good episode tonight. I enjoyed seeing weeping angels again. I always liked these villains. Also I liked learning more on the division and it's history and the doctors past too.

What an episode
I figured Clare would end up being the Angel that took the TARDIS. We learn she is a regular clairvoyant who lived in the present day and the Angel possessed her, then she was hunted down and taken to the 60s by the hunting party, I totally didn't see (let alone blink) the cliffhanger coming with everyone losing, and The Doctor 'recalled' to the Division becoming a weeping angel herself
We definitely could have done without the Bel and Vinder stuff.
Oh, and next week Kate Stewart is back
