It makes sense, the episodes feature Bill (a black woman) being shot and then turned into a Cyberman. It would not have been appropriate.

Well we don't even know how much longer Jodi could be the doc. Maybe by the time that happens he be free. Though be curious to see what they do with doctor after jodi. Will they do another woman. Will it be a guy again. Then of course younger doc or older doctor. Same would it be white doctor or ethnic doctor.

I'm still of the opinion Jodie's gone already, and saying she'll be back for series 13 is a smokescreen for her departure in the Christmas special where it'll likely be revealed Ruth is the 14th...since they made a big deal out of 13 trying to work out where Ruth fits in specifically (as opposed to all the other incarnations she found out about fitting)

Well with how the timelss child deal worked out. I feel ruth is one of the regens prior to becoming hartnell first doctor. As for jodi, if she really was leaving now ie after xmas episode. I see no reason to keep things hidden and what not. Just say she wants to move on or showrunner wants to go in another direction. When ever she does go i as i said last night will be curious in what the next doctor will be.

As for jodi, if she really was leaving now ie after xmas episode. I see no reason to keep things hidden and what not. Because a surprise and unannounced regeneration hasn't happened before in the programme's history and it's something everyone has often clamoured for in fandom discussion...and they don't have to go through the public hoo-hah of formerly announcing a new Doctor because they sprang Ruth on everyone in the middle of the series. The publicity's already there. |
