That means BBC A might lose out Doctor Who if they get over the air rights.
Also in 2021 or 2022 will the 13th Doctor get a 3rd series or will she be done?

Most Doctors last about three or four years before they regenerate. The longest was #4 who lasted like ten years! Think before you ask questions like this!

April bbca is not going to loose the show. All what the HBO max (warner media) service is getting is being the exclusive home for streaming the show after it has aired on broadcast here state side which will be still bbca. It's no different when Netflix had the streaming rights to doctor who a few years back. Before it wasn't reup. And it went to another service here in USA I forget which it was.
As for how long Jodi will remain as doctor is ultimately up to her and the showrunners. And like the above poster said since show came back in 2005 for current incarnation most doctors have last 3 to 4 years. Minus of course 9th doctor was only 1 year. So who knows how long Jodi may want to do the role for. Or show runners will want her. She could be here for 1 more season, 2 more seasons or heck even more who knows.

In other words, only time will tell.

Most Doctors last about three or four years before they regenerate. The longest was #4 who lasted like ten years! He only lasted seven. Sylvester and McGann had far longer stints due to being incumbent Doctors during the wilderness years.

I rounded it out. And there were serious time gaps for airing between 7 & 8.

I base the question off the 10th - 12th Doctors with each gotten 3 series.

Yes April that has been the common time frame for 10 through 12. And likely be what happens with Jodi. But again it's far to early to know what will be. To any reports come out that producers or Jodi want out. And then the whole casting process happens. Again if we stick to 3 series deal. It likely be over another year to we know if she was to leave. Also it matters on how BBC decides to air a season also. Like will all 10 to 13 episode air straight out. Will there be a gap in between. Or like we seen from last season to this next season airing a year apart. Or like for example when Tennant was leaving we had those 4 specials before he left.

I got to thinking about something today: What would happen if The Doctor encountered Captain Jack again???

Jack would likely want to bed her.
