Boy I wouldn't have expected showrunner to go at least 5 years and Jodi 3 like 10, 11, 12 did.

Great to see the Capaldi run make it to DVD. Missed Series 36 with Bill darn it. Saw 34 and 35 on TV with Clara and will get the other two sets soon to replace mine. Also missed most of Class.

I hope Jodie continues for a few seasons. From what I've seen, she's a great Doctor!

Just finished last night episode a solid one. I liked the tease of fez at start of episode. And evil robot stories are always nice and the whole people vs machine story was nice some hood character moments and twist at end played out well.

Ordered up Peter Capaldi run on DVD for Christmas. Series 37 releases on January 29 2019. Date confirmed by both BBC site and Amazon. Doctor 9 and 10 got group released as well as Doctor 11 in another set. This runs for 32 bucks each on Amazon as well as 12. No bonuses just the episodes.

A 6/10 for last night's episode. Something worthwhile things but also pretty slow at the start, and a far too convenient and generic resolution.
It has an authoritative Doctor, enjoyably camp Cumming, well realised looking zombies, Jodie turned me on a few times with her in the water, and great scene between the captive Doc and James. A problem I had was the "if I were still a bloke" speech and the fact the monsters managed to knock the Doctor and company out, but left them unconscious and free to stop them while they captured everyone else.

Billie Piper is back, as Rose Tyler finally gets that long proposed spin-off series from Big Finish. Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon takes place during the events of season four, with Rose travelling to alternate dimensions looking for The Doctor. Helping her along the way is her mum Jackie, her parallel dad Pete, and a version of Clyde, the alien investigator from "Rose" who first put Rose on The Doctor's trail. Sadly, Noel Clarke is too busy to reprise his role as Mickey. www.bigfinish.com/news/v/billie-piper-reprises-rose-tyler

Caught most of the episode last night. I thought Alan Cumming was pretty good as king james. He was an interesting character. The whole every one thought they where witches vs space zombies thing was played out well. Everyone had some good bits. I didn't see full episode as I was flipping to show during supergirl commercials last night. And for some odd reason my dvr didn't record the whole episode. So now I have to watch it later when I can.
