Kestra groaned and rolled over, not feeling the added weight of Corrie in the bed. The Yellow Ranger had found it remarkably easy to sleep with the Pink Ranger in the same bed, and just something about having her near made her feel safe. She rubbed her eyes and sighed as she sat up, pushing her hair out of her face before yawning. She sniffed and smelled breakfast, and she smiled. "That girl better have some coffee going," she said, getting to her feet and making her way twoard the kitchen. "Girl, you keep spoiling us with food like this, I may just marry you."

Corrie looked at Wayne and gave him a soft shake of her head to the young man. "No, he's just battling some things." She said with a shrug before smiling as the red ranger vanished. "Take your time, there is plenty." She said with another smile as her roommate came out of the their room. "Well, I would at least know we'd be taken care of." She said with a wink in the direction of the yellow ranger. "There is plenty of food, coffee is made and ready, I'm gonna step out for just a second." She said moving over to the door that Lenny had exited.
Stepping out, she smiled softly. "Hey, mind if I join you for a second?" She asked holding her hands up in surrender. "I come in peace, I just wanted to check on you." She finished.

Lenny saw Corrie come out and he sighed, his cigarette still in his fingers, "What is it that you want?" he asked calmly.

Corrie smiled softly before sitting across from him. "To try and start again." She said shaking her head slightly. "I don't know what you've been through or what your driving force is, but you are on this team just like the rest of us." She started. "So I figured I would shoot my shot and maybe build a bridge together." She said with a slight shrug.

Wayne nodded as he chewed silently he looked over to Kestra as A5 whispered in his ear he gulped his food down but some still in his mouth. "Gwood, Mownin." He said still chewing as A5 facepalmed shaking her head with a laugh as Wayne attempted to be social.

Lenny looked at Corrie and just laughed humorlessly, "A team? Build a bridge? That's funny," he said shaking his head. "Why would you think I would be on this team when I know what you guys do? You say "we're a team" but in reality, you don't give a fuck about others or their feelings."

"Well, if I didn't give a fuck, like you say, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you." Corrie said with a shrug. "I am being genuine in my wanting to try and build something. At the end of the day, we are in this together. I just wanted to try. I will leave you alone." She said standing and walking inside.

Before Corrie went inside Lenny said, "No, y'all are in this together. I was forced to go along with it and stroke Mr. Soldier's ego. But you don't have to worry about me Because I won't be around long anyway."

After getting cleaned up, Paul exited the bathroom, seemingly gliding across the floor towards the smell coming from the food that Corrie cooked. He wasted no further time in fixing a plate, looking up to see Corrie come back inside.
"Cor, this looks amazing! Feel free to take a victory lap."

Kestra looked up as Corrie walked back in, and she grinned. "Girl, this is amazing. Honestly, I haven't had a lot of good hoe-cooked food, but this is fuckin' aces," she said, setting her coffee down.

Wayne had continued staring into his plate we was 1/3 in good mornings, he glanced up at Paul and attempted a wave. "Good morning." Perhaps he was too quiet, but he wasn't used to speaking to anyone first thing in the morning. He wasn't even used to being anywhere with anyone for long periods of time.

After the failed conversation with Corrie, Lenny remained outside of the loft. He wasn't even hungry so he chose not to get breakfast, let alone not being around people he strongly dislikes. Puffing his cigarette, he knew that what he was going to do, for he was at his limit.

Paul laughed a bit. "Morning, Wayne." The former soldier got a kick out of the Green Ranger's awkwardness during breakfast. "So what's Lenny's deal? You would think he would have gotten over his stick in the mud persona long enough to stuff his face."

"Thanks guys, I just want us to be fully fed and rested." Corrie said walking around the bar to stand in the kitchen. She looked at Paul and sighed with a shake of her head. "I don't know what's up with him. I tried, but I feel like he is planning something." She said with a shrug as she chomped down on a piece a bacon.

Paul shool his head upon hearing this update with Lenny. "I'm sure you did all you could. You can't help people that don't wanna be helped. Though I wish he could get through his head that everyone isn't out to get him."
