Jun sighed, shaking his head, "But why me though? Why a person who has no connection to the Power Rangers? Even the newest member of our team was able to embrace her role. I don't feel like I belong there, Ash," he said, knowing that he was coming to terms.

You don't have the parents killed in a battle with evil like Cole, and you didn't have a family member that ran a section of a multi-galactic police force. Moze had a passing connection, but Tifa--and you--have nothing. That's what makes you both suited for the spots you're in. I dind't think the Grid chose right when it selected me, and I know I had my share of trouble adjusting and learning to open up and work with my team, but eventually we meshed and could read each other with just the slightest muscle twitch. It just takes time, and if it didn't happen in your first battle wtih the Tok'Ra, maybe it'll happen now with the Machine Empire."
