Cole awoke and took a shower before getting dressed in a Pac Man shirt jeans and black converse sneakers despite being married and living together Cole had insisted on having separate bathrooms so he and Oliver had their own space as the Green Ranger strapped on a smartwatch where the handcuffs had been the night before Cole smiled to himself before he headed for the kitchen catching the end of the conversation between Wendy and his brother sighing he fished $600 from his pocket and handed it to her Henry Cole's personal chef came downstairs and into the kitchen
"breakfast for you sir?" he asked
with a sigh and roll of his eyes Cole said "Kings feast for 2 I assume you're staying? the Green Ranger asked Ken who nodded
a kings feast was a breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, and French toast normally reserved for special occasions in the Kingsford family
" what's the occasion?"The self proclaimed King asked confused
" I'm not Mom the occasion is I'm hungry and after what you just pulled your lucky I'm not feeding you a knuckle sandwich"Cole said slightly irritated as Henry served both Kingsford Brothers iced coffee
"your coffee sirs anything for the Mrs?" Henry asked
" you can ask her when she comes out of the bedroom I know better than to assume for her" Cole said chuckling

"Morning, ya'll." Olivier greets Amara and Kida. She's thankful she's on her nightwear so she doesn't feel too embarrassed on video. As she listens to Tifa, her eyes blink with excitement. "Okay. You got me in suits!" She beams. "What time will we meet you?"
Tifa looked at the clock. "Say an hour? I'll text you the number of my apartment and you can swing by," she said. "And that way I can learn more about the three of you at the same time. I still feel like the outsider."
"Hey, you'll mesh soon," Amara said with a smile. "We got your back, girl. I'll text Derek and let him know where I'm gonna be just in case he worries. And....I need to talk to the three of you anyways. It's something kind of important."
"Got it. I'll see you girls in a bit," Kida said with a grin.

"Oooo! Okay, I'll see you all there!" Olivier answers, allowing the precious moments to linger before she ends the chat. She walks back from her bathroom to grab her clothes for today before she returns to her bathroom to get dressed and do her business.
Once fully ready, Olivier leaves the bedroom she shares with Cole and head towards the kitchen where she meets the brothers, Wendy, and Cole's personal chef Henry.
"Morning everyone." Olivier greets them as she walks over to Henry. "Morning, Henry. Can you make a quick breakfast for me? A breakfast burrito with iced coffee. I have to meet with the girls in a hour." She requests her husband's chef.

Jun let out a sigh, feeling stumped on wondering why he was chosen to become the Yellow Ranger, "Kuso! This is getting me nowhere! Why am I even the Yellow Ranger in the first place? What makes it so special?" he cried out, thankfully, no one was there to hear him.

"Of course ma'am" Henry said preparing Olivier A breakfast Burrito and iced coffee
"Good morning honey" Cole said between bites of French toast
"Good morning pinky" Ken said nonchalantly as he sipped his coffee "what's his safe word anyway cupcake or something?" The blue Ranger asked bluntly causing Cole to almost choke on his food before swallowing
"My safe word is none of your damn business bro" the green Ranger said slightly offended
"Relax Cole Train I'm only fooling" the blue Ranger chuckled this trying to get a rise out of his brother "what you do behind closed doors is none of my business I just wish you weren't so loud" the blue Ranger admitted
"Not so fun When you're getting you teach of your own medicine? Cole asked is whether reminding them of their high school days when Ken would bring girls home and Cole had to pretend not to hear from down the hall in the old Kingsford home back when he lived there
"So you're going back to SPD?" Cole said trying to change the subject Cole said trying to change the subject something more appropriate for breakfast conversation
"Yeah I appreciate you guys letting me stay here and I know auntie Z Can run it but I gotta get back to it" the blue Ranger admitted
"That's a bunch of BS and you know it same old Ken afraid to ask for help even when you know you need it" Cole said shaking his head
"Come on Cole I said thank you" Ken said a bit defensively trying to save face
"Really because I have a $600 deficit in my wallet that says otherwise" Cole clarified "if you actually cared about us or SPD you would give temporary command to auntie Z until the Machine Empire was dealt with but as usual you're too stubborn to swallow you damn pride and ask for help you're going to leave without saying goodbye to either of us" the green Ranger said clearly hurt by his brothers actions
"come on call you know we're family I just hate sappy goodbyes" the blue Ranger admitted
Cole had had enough "Then you treat us like family and let us help you all of us me my wife auntie Z were all here for you but you insist on doing everything yourself!" Cole said slamming his fist on the table to make a point
when you when he saw how angry he was getting the green Ranger excused himself from the table abruptly "I need some air thank you for breakfast" Cole said abruptly

While waiting for breakfast, Olivier sits next to Cole as she listens in on the conversation between him and Ken. It's hard to understand how healing is non-linear when it comes to Ken. The despair, the coping? She doesn't understand how he continues to function despite this. Once Cole storms off, she gives Ken a disappointed expression.
"Oh, Ken." Olivier sighs. "Is it true you're planning to resume your duties at SPD? I mean I get you refuse to relinquish your command but sometimes a break can help you recharge your brain."

"Swing and a miss." The birthday festivities were still going on. Derek was convinced by the kids to swing at a piñata. With all of his years as a Ranger, swinging with a blind fold on was simple, but he couldn't make it look too good. He took a couple of goofy swings, eliciting some laughter. Eventually, he landed one good swing, knocking out plenty of candy for the kids. Now that the kids were occupied, Derek went back to the adults, engaging with them.

Amara stretched and sent a text to Derek taht she was going to be hanging out with the girls, tossing her purse into the car and taking off for the address on her phone. "Should I stop and pick anything up?" she mused. "Seems rude not to...."

Jun had been sitting on the bench for a while now, looking at his key. He hadn't said anything for his mind was already in the thinking process of how he was chosen the Yellow Ranger. He wanted to teleport to Kida and Jax and ask them about his role as the Yellow Ranger. In fact, he decided to pay them a visit at the Command Center, punching the code on his Shift Caller to the Command Center.

"As mentioned I appreciate that concern pinky I'm fine really" the blue Ranger bluffed in between bites of his breakfast as Henry served Olivier her breakfast burrito and and iced coffee the chef frowned "I haven't been employed by the master the house for very long know when he's troubled does the young master have anyone to confide in?" He asked the assembled group and Wendy spoke up "well have a little mound Cole the longest aside from you of course Olivier I know that he always used to confide in his parents before they were killed in the monster attack by the original Machine Empire" she said solemnly "as a matter of fact…" Wendy took a look at the calendar and saw that the day today was circled among with the short memo that read spend time with my family Wendy gasped "today's the day they died no wonder Cole was feeling so agitated I'll talk to him Olivier you should probably get going if you want to make your appointment with the girls" the personal assistant said

During the party, Derek was talking to a few of the moms, drinking some punch. While fielding a few questions regarding how he operates with the kids, he saw a text coming in and quickly responded, telling her to have fun and that he was still at the kids party.

Olivier rolls her eyes, not buying Ken's assurance one bit. "Okay, but I won't be surprised if you get kicked out of SPD by the board and Zara. You would've learned your lesson after Asimov."
After thanking Henry for breakfast, Olivier chomps her burrito without the need to rush. She still has enough time to use before she leaves. As she listens on, she perks up in realization. Today's the anniversary of the death of Cole's parents. No wonder he's in a fowl mood to the point he snaps at Ken.
Finishing her burrito, Olivier takes a few sips from her ice coffee as she stares at Wendy. "You sure you can help Cole on this one, Wendy?" She asks, climbing off her chair. "I mean given his mood, he may snap at you too."

"I'm sure I haven't been Cole's personal assistant for over a year without knowing how to navigate around him" Wendy said giving Olivier a smile "go I got this" Wendy found Cole in the garden where his wife usually did her meditation however Cole was using it to play super smash Brothers Ultimate on his Nintendo switch
"Hey Cole boss you okay?" Wendy asked as she took a seat next to the green Ranger "yes, no, I don't know! Ken is just so frustrating and won't listen to anyone he doesn't even remember who my parents are made that clear back at the graveyard I'm mad at him and the Machine Empire right now I feel mad at pretty much everything!!" Cole said not bothering to finish his game as he set down the Nintendo switch and looked at Wendy the pain on his face clearly evident "why did my parents have to get crushed by that falling rubble? They were brilliant and now they're gone it's not fair!" Cole cried Wendy let the Green Ranger get out his frustrations and gently hugged him afterwords "from what I know about your parents I think they would be proud of the man you've become you have your father's brilliant mind and your mother's compassion I know they would be proud of you" she said smiling "my father would probably say I being too emotional and tell me to approach things logically" Cole said smiling "then your mother would have to remind him that you never really functioned on logic" Wendy finished laughing after returning the hug the green Ranger said "thank you Wendy it's no wonder I pay you so much"
"Your friendship is priceless boss" the personal assistant smiled

Once he arrived, Jun looked for Jax and Kida, in hopes they would be there would be someone there. "Jax? Kida? Anyone here?" he asked, looking around the Command Center.

Olivier can only nod as she watches Wendy leave. As sad as she is, she learns during these past months that she can't always fix everyone's problems, especially her husband. She can support all she wants, but her own needs are important too. Once she finishes her breakfast, she gives the dishes to Henry so he can put them in the sink before she waves the chef and Ken bye and goes outside to teleport to Tifa's location.
