Power Rangers: Chrono Storm (Game)

Lalah stopped short, staring at Mateo's fallen form. Just like before it's too late to save her friends. What was she going to do now? With no other choice, she tried to attack Glaciar with her weapon. "I won't let you win!"

Lalah didn't know how many loops she spent trying to get it right. She lost count eventually. She did extensive research. She looked into deals, for curses, for how to break curses. Even that wasn’t enough. She even sought out Leon, Ledger, and Samara for additional information. No matter how hard she tried, it ended with her friends murdered under Glaciar. She’s clearly still doing something wrong.

Now she’s at the beach for an whatever time of her life, she’s at wit’s end. With a sigh, she got up from her spot and walked over to where Mateo and Sensei were. “Hi Mateo. Hi Sensei.” She greeted them with a trying smile. “I have a question. How do you break a curse?”

“Temporal loop. I am trapped in a temporal loop, also known as time loop or Groundhog Day in basic terms." Lalah answered truthfully, aware of the situation since they have no idea at all. "I understand this is out of the ordinary but I truly am going through it. I do not know what this phenomenon has done to me. I'd like to think I'm psychic but not really."

"You berated me for the past seven consecutive loops. I still feel the zaps from your boop, Sensei." Lalah said, her expression borderline unamused.

"Anyway, earlier we have a beach day. You two being seals fighting over a grape, I was having fun in the water with Samara, Leon and Ledger doing their own bonding time. After that, we went to the ship for additional relaxation. Sensei, you called me to test the Chrono Blaze Charger out. What I discovered from previous loops is Calen brought Glaciar to end us. I was delayed because I couldn't hear the alarms in the Simulation Deck." Lalah explained, taking a deep breath from speaking too fast. Then she opened her eyes, her emotions swirling as she began to tell the worst part. "As the result, everyone died. Samara, Ledger, Leon, and you Mateo. I failed to save you all. Before I met my fate, the loop resets to here."

"Here is the thing. Everytime I tried to correct them, it still ends with your demise. Declining the offer to use the Blaze Charger, skipping the simulation to join, etc. None of these corrections worked and the loop resets." Lalah laughed humorlessly. "I just... don't know what else to do."

"Well, I did tell you initially. Stupid riddles aside. But after a while, I lost count and stopped. So I had to figure out on my own without the need to tell you all." Lalah admitted tiredly, not proud for what she did. "As for Glaciar Zero, he is the new creature Calen is going to send soon. Not sure which period but I do know the battle against him takes place on a snowy terrain."

Ledger stretched, getting up and brushing the sand off of himself, looking around and seeing Lalah talking with Mateo, and he assumed it was Ranger related, so he decided to just leave it alone. He started down the beach, seeing Samara in the water. He watched the Black Ranger get out, and he could see Leon's interest, but he saw Samara as more of a "big sister" despite everything that happened recently.

Samara walked back onto the beach, grabbing her towel and drying off before pushing her wet hair out of her face and wrapping the towel around her waist. She saw Ledger, and she walked over to the Blue Ranger. "Is everything ok, Ledger?"

"Mmmhmmm," he said with a smile. "Just watching you. Leon's red in the face every time you walk in the room, and the swimsuit isn't leaving much to imagination, ad he's beet red."
