"That's horrible. No child should ever go through it. " Lalah's heart went out to Samara. While she's forever grateful her parents were alive, she could only imagine the pain she would go if it ever happened. "Your parents may not be here physically, they are here for you in spirit. Where I come from, we find blessings in hardship and the ability to move forward with the help of Indian customs. I went through this when I lost my grandparents several years ago. I learned to find comfort knowing I will see them again from above."
Samara nodded, pushing her hair out of her face. "I aint sure if I ever believed in a "higher power" or anything like that, but Ma always made sure I was in church. Never sat still long enough to learn nothin'," she snickered.

"Fourteen huh? Yeah I can see why that wouldn't sit well with your mom. At least when I did it, I was 18 and when he did try to stop me, let's just say that sleeper hold came in handy real quick." Leon chuckled and then he shook his head. "I'm afraid to say it but, me and you got more in common that we'd like to admit." Leon said as the redness in his face faded away as his focus was on that of the convo he and Ledger were having versus Samara.
"You say that like it's a bad thing, dude," Ledger said, stretching before he flipped onto his hands. "Nothing wrong with that. Just makes the dynamic more fun!"

"My parents tend to be strict when it comes to this." Lalah shrugged, continuing to swim around. "Although I do appreciate them for not putting me and my siblings in arrange marriages. They are almost forced into this by their own parents."

The Rangers continued to enjoy the rest of the day peacefully, soaking up the sun and strengthening their bonds with one another. Once the day of fun was done, the Rangers were back on the Patricia. Once everyone was back on the ship and they were in the air, a small compartment opened up on Sensei's panel containing a new charger. "Lalah, come here for a second." Sensei said. When Lalah did come over, the AI began to explain. "This is the Chrono Blaze Charger. We don't venture into many elemental Chargers but with Calen's forces, we believe that some extra fire power may come in handy. I'd like you to take this to the training deck to test it out." |

Lalah perked up when Sensei explained about the new Chrono Charger. "I can't believe it. I finally have the chance to test one of the chargers." She whispered in astonishment. Walking over to pick it up, she observed the item. "So this Charger specializes heat. I'll have it careful with this. Thank you, Sensei."

"You're welcome. Now off you go, I need the testing data as soon as possible." Sensei said to Lalah, indicating that she needed the data ASAP. *** While the Rangers were relaxing, Calen was working. His work with Boomteria got him close, but he needed more to be able to save his family and to do that, the Rangers needed to be out of play. "Glaciar Zero." Calen spoke to his newest creation. "I have a job for you." "Speak it and it shall be done." Glaciar nodded as he awaited orders. " |

Lalah nodded quickly as she ran to the training deck. Once the simulation had begun, she took out her Chrono Charger and Storm Morpher, going into position. "CHRONO STORM! UNLEASH!" Once she transformed into the Pink Ranger, she looked down at her new Charger with a smirk on her face.
The Pink Ranger pressed down on a button on the negative side of the Chrono Blaze Charger before inserting it into her Storm Morpher. Then she faced her targets with determination. "Time to test this out."

While Lalah was testing the new charger, things were supposed to be chill for the rest of the group. Unfortunately, their time traveling foe had other ideas. The alarm began to blare, prompting Mateo to pop up out of his captain's chair.
"What's wrong?"
"We have an issue." Sensei's virtual head appeared out of the center of the panel. "It looks as if Calen is trying to alter history again." Sensei brought up footage of the event in question. "This is roughly six or seven months prior to when the last mission took place. In this event, the village hidden in the leaves is experiencing heavy snow, preventing a grave issue. Uryuu Sawada, the SRS Blue Ranger during this period was lured into a trap in the form of what they call an A-Ranked mission. This trap led to their Red Ranger's death, eventual resurrection, and the acquisition of a mighty battilizer that contributed by the evil Proto's defeat at the hands of the six SRS Rangers. In this changed scenario, new history shows that Uryuu was the one to die as the Rangers weren't able to aid him. This creates a horrible trickle down effect as this new timeline would involve all of the SRS team dying by Proto's hands along with his seizing of the SRS powers, Dragonis once again alive and Eddie Morrison's death." Sensei finished, laying out how one small change can cause so much damage in the timeline.
Unfortunately for Lalah, the loud sounds that come from her testing drowned out the alarm so she was unable to hear it.

Before Leon could make it back to his quarters, the alarm went off. He rushed to the command area and overheard what Sensei was saying. "So we just saved those guys and now he went back further? This guys the epitome of the phrase "If at first you don't succeed, yada yada.... You know the rest." Leon said shaking his head.

"Your last mission mostly saved the Aura Strikers, but you have the general premise right." Sensei spoke up with the partial correction, given that the last mission only had Boomteria tasked with delaying the ninja team, not killing them. "Calen's tactics are considerably different compared to other villains of record throughout history. Whether it was the assault on SPD's Rangers, the delaying of SRS and now delaying most of SRS again, his actions are consistent with his blaming his tragic future on the Power Rangers yet not knowing which exact Ranger group to focus on."
"But he hasn't tried to hurt any civilians, really." Mateo admitted. "I just wish we knew what actually happened so we can put an end to this."

“This is not what I have in mind!” Those were the first thing Lalah said after she activated the Chrono Blaze Charger. At first, she blasted few targets at close range, trying to figure out the mechanics. That kind of thing wasn’t as something even her notes had done well.
Staggering back, the Pink Ranger gazed up at her targets coming closer. Thinking quickly, she ran forward to leap over them, blasting them from behind in a blazing fashion. She was too busy trying to hold her own that she didn't hear the alarm blaring.

"Not a way we can search for that? Wouldn't he have a history? I mean if he can find us, we can find him through history can't we?" Leon asked.

"Nope. He can't find us in the time stream and unfortunately, his lineage is so murky, it's been difficult for the TMB to pin him down." Sensei responded.
"Either way, we need to get a move on before the Hidden Leaf gets its own Konoha." Mateo said to the rest of the team.

"And get it done fast," Samara said, looking at the others. She looked around, raising an eyebrow. "Wait. Where's Lalah?"

"Lalah must still be training that new charger. She'll have to catch up. Sensei, hit it!"
"Got it!" The Patricia zoomed through the time stream, coming out at their desired destination, already feeling the chill from this snow storm. "We're here. I hope you brought your jackets."
"We'll settle for spandex." Mateo quipped. "Let's find the source, squash it and head back for some hot cocoa."

"Hot cocoa huh? Better be some good cocoa cause my mom made the best. I just wish things wasn't so estranged with the family." Leon stated as he looked back at Mateo.
