Power Rangers: Chrono Storm (Game)

Samara sighed softly, running her hand in her hair and pushing it out of her face. "I'm sorry, Sensei. Still learnin' how all this works, it ain't easy bein' the oldest person on the ship," she said. "Learnin' my story was done dozens of years before Lalah was born, it's all kinda a lot. And me not understandin' half the words that come outta y'all's mouths some times, it gets overwhelmin'."

"Age is nothing but a number, girlie. I get it. I know it's a lot. I've seen many agents go through the same thing you did. Some better, some worse. Some older, some younger. At the end of the day, they all had to get their heads on straight." Sensei said to Samara. "We can talk about how this is affecting you all day but answer this for me. What are you going to do to fix it?"

"Bet none of them put their friend in the hospital," Samara said. She pushed her hair out of her face, looking at her hands. "I'm gonna kill that monster. Then I'll make this up to Ledger. And work on my words."

"You'd be surprised." Sensei responded, hinting that this isn't the first time that miscommunication between agents has gotten someone hurt. The resident AI seemed optimistic when the Black Ranger began to turn the corner emotionally. "Now that sounds better! For a minute there, I was beginning to think you were getting soft." She quipped. "You may want to catch up to the others. Looking at the time, they'll have to leave at any minute now if we want to stop Boomteria in time."

"Either way, we can't wait very long." Mateo responded. "Because this is time sensitive, we have to go with who we've got." Mateo grabbed his helmet, preparing to put it back on. "I'm not forcing anyone to go out who isn't ready."

"It's okay. I'm used to you being an asshole." Mateo grinned. "Seriously though, it's not ideal but you'll learn that the conditions won't always be perfect. We just make do, give it our best and find a way to get it done."

"There's no specific rule against it, but we try to avoid 'teamups' unless absolutely necessary." Mateo answered. "The way Big Bro explained it, it's so high risk where so much can go wrong, even if everything goes right. With this, we should be able to handle Boomteria without recruiting the ninjas, although it would have been cool to see them fight up close."

"Woman, I'm from the West. Women out there ain't soft. We ain't no city girls content to sit on their asses while the men do the work," Samara said, getting up and dusting herself off. She walked out of her room and headed out, cracking her knuckles. "I'm gonna whoop that damn plant and show it what happens when it screws with me."

Mateo cracked a smile while shaking his head. He stopped briefly to wait for Sam to turn the corner.

Samara jogged around hte corner, cracking her knuckles. "Let's rip that weed up," she said. "I owe that bitch for what she did to Ledger."

"Look who rejoined the party!" Mateo exclaimed, visibly happy to see Samara here. "You sure you're up for this? This Boomteria guy seems tricky so we need to be super sharp."
