Samara nodded her head. "Sir. Pleasure to meet you," she said.
"Hey, there," Ledger said with a smile. "So you're the one that got this dude involved, huh? How'd you wrangle him?"

"Actually, it was the same way he wrangled the four of you." Bishop recalled visiting Mateo's period and the antics that ensued with recruiting the now Red Ranger. "I also had a hand in recruiting the four of you. I'm glad to see that Teo hasn't scared you off yet." Bishop joked, giving Mateo a pat on the back.
"And to be more specific, when y'all names came up, he personally signed off on each of y'all."
"And yet you all made me look good with you all keeping the timeline from going to complete shit." Bishop added, thankful that things remained intact for the most part.

"Talked about us? Great things about us? Pardon me if that seems a little presumptuous. We've only been here for a small amount of change. We've barely begun to learn each other. Only thing I've learned is that Ledger is a sports fan and coach, Lalah is an artist, Samara is a gun toting innkeeper from a saloon in the old west, and Mateo is one of the most eager hyperactive, ADHD ridden beaver I've ever met. So in honesty other than knowing that? I'd think its a little too soon to be spreading praise. I mean we only just got our feet wet." Leon said as he folded his arms.

Bishop chuckled softly with hearing Leon's pessimism. "You definitely remind me of your ancestor, except he'd find a way to tie in a wrestling analogy." He said, seemingly unbothered. "In all seriousness, I don't attach my name to anything or anyone I don't believe in and I believe in the four of you."
Mateo shot Bishop an unfriendly glare. "Sorry, five of you." Sensei then not so subtly cleared her throat. "Okay, six of you!" Bishop laughed. "Definitely a tough crowd today. I've had an easier time trying to convince Yomi not to blow up the planet!"

"I suppose there's more history to learn. I never heard a Yomi before." Lalah said with a half-shrug. "So what is it like working here, Bishop? Is it exciting?"

"It's the ultimate thrill." Bishop responded with a twinkle in his eye. "Normally, history is limited to what you ready in your history books but imagine being able to not only see that history but to be able to insert yourself in those key moments to either prevent disaster or to start something beautiful."

"Hell of a lot better than just being a foot note." Leon raised an eyebrow. "Knowing we can do something to save history is rather cool." Leon added further.

"Speaking of cool..." Bishop pulled out a Chrono Com of his own, tapping the top of it on Mateo's, sending over important data.
As Sensei was accessible through any of the Chrono Coms that the team used. She instantly transferred the data to each of their coms so they can all read up and be aware.
"Apparently, the guy in the purple armor who attacked you all is named Caleb Diorno. I thought that given the armor, this was a Kamen Rider, but no. He's a scientist from the year 4001. We can confirm that he has a time ship of his own but we are still unsure as to his motive and why he wanted to kill the SPD Rangers in 2022." Bishop said to the team, giving them a little background on their enemy.

"This makes sense." Lalah went through the information regarding the foe. "I do remember him mentioning he will change his destiny and save his family. These motives serve as his motivation."

"Yes, but it's not that simple." Bishop brought up profiles on the entire SPD team. "We traced the lineage of each of those Rangers. None of them have any familial ties to Calen and none of their missions appear to have any impact on Calen's family history, directly or indirectly."
"What about him?" Mateo pointed at the Omega Ranger. "He's the one who time traveled that I had to bring home. Maybe he did something?"
"I don't believe so." Bishop responded. "From what I remember you telling me, he had his own issues. Somehow, whatever he used to travel through time messed with his memories of the past, leading him to believe that things happened that didn't happen at that point, such as his teammates all surviving in the future when they were actually killed prior to his intervention."
"Hmmmmm...." Mateo sat down, trying to think of a possible solution.

"Could it be possible that an accident happened to his family that the rangers couldn't avoid?" Leon said looking at bishop.

"Not with this team." Bishop gave Leon that answer. "I've had our systems run numerous combinations to simulate different outcomes from SPD's missions and no combination results in anything impacting Calen's lineage."

"Does a guy need a reason to be an evil asshole?" Ledger asked. "I"ve seen a lot of bad guys in movies and shows over the years, and a lot of them never needed a reason to be a dick."
Samara looked at Ledger. "Perhaps not, but knowing what made him this way would be beneficial and more then helpful," she said.

"There's got to be motivation. Something about the past dictates his future. So we have to figure out what happened in the past that he's aiming for so that his future comes to effect." Leon stated.
