"Show them we ain't foolin' around," Samara said with a smile. "Should we go check on the boys? Make sure they ain't gettin' in trouble?"
"Well." Lalah initially saw Mateo and Leon conversing until her set on Ledger seemingly finishing up his practice. "We'll check on Ledger. See if he catches up with everything." She says before she walked over to her Blue teammate's direction.

"That's cool. Butttttttt, you can't learn how we operate if you're off by yourself."
"Your one persistent little guy, ain't you?" Leon said as he focused his mind and waited for all of the targets to align in a row before shooting through all of them. "We'll play it your way. But forgive me if I don't jump into it right away." Leon said as he put the fire arm down and extended his hand to Mateo. "Deal?" Leon asked.

"Little?" Mateo laughed. He was warned that there was a high likelihood that at least one of his teammates would be that tough nut to crack but he wasn't worried in the slighted. "I'm gonna have fun breaking you in." He said, shaking Leon's hand.

Samara nodded, walking over with Lalah. "Ledger."
The Blue Ranger slashed down his last enemy, turning and lowering his sword. "Hi, ladies!" he said with a smile, walking over and sitting on the bench. "What's up?"

"Looking forward to it, leader." Leon said as he cracked a smile. Leon knew that he was going to have to fold into the group, but he remembered something that he learned when he was being taught the family business: Respect is earned. Not given.

During the same time where the Rangers have been training over this last month, Calen was busy gathering data, using his knowledge and technology to advance his cause. Based on the information available, he had no data on this Chrono Storm team he faced in the year 2022. On top of that, while he did succeed in altering the timeline, his actions indirectly created more Rangers, which complicates his mission even more.
"Computer!" Calen called out. "I am aware that my future has been altered due to Ranger activity. Have we come any closer to isolating exactly what event has caused my future to be altered?"
"Negative. The introduction of Power Rangers have drastically alerted many events in history. Due to the different teams and their numerous adventures, it is difficult to pinpoint a single event that is linked to your history being altered."
Calen said nothing but looked at the more prominent teams in history. "Aura Strikers. Crystal Moon. Drive Charge. Nitro Blaze. SRS. Spirit Hunters. The team I faced doesn't resemble any of these. Is there any new data on this unit?"
"Negative. I am still scouring the time stream for more data. I will disclose any details as they are made available."
"Okay." Calen sighed. "What's the next target period?"
"2019. The original iteration of the Aura Strikers were tasked with defending their school against an army of mutants created by Dr. Gio Vance. As the Rangers were gaining the advantage against the onslaught of creatures, an immortal demon named Dragonis executed a massive attack, destroying the remaining monsters as well as the Rangers. The only survivor of that explosion was the Aura Striker Green Ranger, Eddie Morrison. His survival would contribute to the defeat of numerous global level threats, marking him as one of the most influential Rangers in history."
"It sounds like a lot. How would I be able to potentially alter this in my favor?" Calen asked.
"Simulations show that should you defeat the immortal known as Dragonis, you would drastically alter history. If you eliminate him, the Green Ranger never goes to Japan, resulting in the elimination of the SRS Rangers. The SPD Rangers as well as the Aura Striker Rangers fall in subsequent missions with their deaths leading to other teams never existing."
"So all I have to do is kill one demon and I can wipe all of the Rangers off of the map?! If that happens, it won't matter which group was responsible as it would have never happened." Calen ran the scenarios in his head and he became excited with the prospect. "Set a course for 2019!"
"Understood." The AI aboard the Vengeance followed the order and the ship set off for their next target where hopefully he would be able to achieve his goal.

Ledger smiled. "I played in the yard with sticks a lot as a kid. So this just feels like an extension of that," he said. "What about you guys? You've been working hard, Samara. Don't you ever take a break?"
"Ain't no rest for me, kiddo. Back home, you rest, you get caught off guard and then you pro'lly end up a guest of the Undertaker," Samara said. "And I don't mean that person you showed me in that magic box of yours, neither."
"I know who you meant," Ledger snickered.

"My body has a mind of its own." Lalah replied with a shrug. "Given my experience with my pepper spray, I'm able to shoot targets at close range. As for swordplay, I'm improving. It is different than with working with a cricket bat with my brothers growing up."

Things were proceeding pretty normally for the team throughout the day. Suddenly, there was a buzz amongst the other TMB agents. This "buzz" was caused by one of their fellow agents returning after another outing. The man in question, casually walked into the main facility, being greeted by fellow agents. When the noise finally reached the training wing, Mateo stopped speaking with Leon and listened intently. "He's back!" Without so much as a word, the Red Ranger rushed to the common area to find the man with his back turned. "And here I thought you'd be the first person I'd see when I got back." "Guess I was caught up actually doing some work." Mateo shot back. "That's a first." The man scoffed. The two men tried to maintain the tense facade, but the joy was too great to suppress. The older man turned around, looking at Mateo who walked up to him, both men sharing dap, followed by a fist bump and a massive hug. "How ya been, Chief?" "Busy!" The man stretched a bit after the hug was released. "Apparently, someone forgot that I'm old-ish!" He exclaimed. "Minus the ish." Mateo smiled. "Bishop!!" Sensei's holographic head emerged from Mateo's com, excited to see her former master. "Sensei! How's my favorite girl?" "Except for having to keep this guy in line, she's great!" Sensei responded, getting in a playful dig at the current captain of the Vengeance. "Heeeyyyy! You know damn well I brighten your digital day!" Bishop laughed. "Now now, you two. Teo, where's the rest of your team? I'd like to meet my fellow spandex wearers." "Oh yeah!" Mateo snapped his fingers, briefly forgetting. He opened up communications with his Chrono Com. "Hey guys, break time! Come on over to the common area. There's someone y'all should meet!" |

Ledger smiled and nodded, looking at Lalah. "You'd get along with my sisters. One sister plays basketball and she's really good. She'd love you," he said.
Samara looked at her friends as Mateo's voice came through. "That's our summons."
"Wonder what's got him so excited," Ledger said. "Let's go, ladies."

After Mateo ran off it wasn't long before Leon got the call. Leon placed the gun back on the tray in the training center and walked over to Mateo with his arms folded. "You'd swear you just got your favorite athlete's autograph. What's up?" Leon stated as he was in walking distance.

With the team gathered Mateo and Sensei both looked more chipper than usual.
"Cool, y'all are here!" Mateo spoke excitedly. "Guys, I'd like y'all to meet Head Senior Agent, my mentor, big bro, greatest agent ever oh and Silver Ranger: Bishop DuBois!"
"Quite the introduction." Bishop chuckled as he faced the team. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you all in person. I've heard many good things about you all."
