"Damn you! You won't stop me! I'll continue fighting as long as it takes!" Calen switched to a sword of his own. "Prepare yourselves!"
"Ugh! You guys okay!?" Mateo asked his new comrades after that stalemate.
Samara shook her head out. "Damn dandy. Let's get to work," she said.
"I'm fine. Been hit harder then that," Ledger grinned. "I'm with Sam. Let's whoop this sumbitch!"

"I've been good." Lalah assured Mateo. "Now we resume our fight. This man will not get away with this."

Just before the Rangers could resume their attack. Mateo's Chrono Com went off.
"Rangers! Y'all need to get out of there! History has been altered!" Sensei exclaimed.
"But how?! This guy didn't make it to the fight in City Hall." Mateo scratched his head, seemingly in disbelief.
"I'll explain in more detail when you all get back but for now, it's time to leave."
"Shit!" Mateo was amped to finish this battle but it'll have to wait for another day. "This isn't over!" He shouted at Calen. "Let's go guys." He said to his team.

While Lalah grew disappointed the team wouldn't finish off Calen right away, she realized there's nothing more she could do. "Until we meet again!" She yelled, before she headed off to follow Mateo.

Ledger growled and lowered his sword. "Fine. Let's finish this some other day," he said.
Samara lowered her gun, sighing. "Ain't fond of it, but we do what we gotta. Ain't happy, but is what it is."

The Rangers made it back to their ship with Sensei wasting no time in taking off, leaving this time period and going back into the time stream where it was safe.
Mateo removed his helmet and set it on the console. "Okay Sensei. How bad is it and just who the hell was that?"
"I'm analyzing the timeline as we speak." Sensei brought up new imagery from the center panel. "In the original timeline, the Rangers were to survive this battle and then all die in a battle soon after, save for their Red Ranger. With the timeline changed, only their Pink Ranger died and was replaced by the team's technical expert who seems to have been given a new lease on life as she was supposed to die in the original timeline months from where we just were. Her survival has also led to several drastic changes, mostly for good."
"So we lucked out? It sucks with what happened to their OG Pink but if so much changed for the better, we have to take the wins where we can get em."
"Let's go with that, Mateo." Sensei replied. "All in all, a good first day, seeing as most of you have yet to go through TMB training and for five people living coming from five different time periods, y'all worked together pretty well."

"As sad as it is that the changed timeline costs one teammate, at least it doesn't end too horribly for that team." Lalah said in understanding. "I am surprised the first battle does wonders for me. As amazing as it is, there is room for more improvements."

Samara nodded. "I ain't the best fighter, but I'm sure I'll get better as time goes on."
"Same here," Ledger said. "Most of my fighting's been done on gaming consoles."

"I'm sure you all will be great!" Sensei said, offering encouragement. "And if something goes wrong, I'll say it was Mateo's fault." The AI snickered.
"What? Hey!!! I'm always innocent, sometimes!" Mateo held his hands up in defense, letting out a chuckle.

Lalah snickered, covering her mouth. "In fairness, Mateo hasn't done anything wrong. In fact, I am grateful for him bringing us here in the first place." She said. "This drive of his, gives me inspiration for my next pieces, which I haven't feel like this for a while."

"Blame Mateo. Got it!" Ledger said with a grin. "Being the baby of the family, I get blamed for everything, so it's nice to blame someone else for a change."
Samara chuckled, shaking her head with a small smile. "We all oughta rest. Today's been a ringer, and I ain't sure I got the gumption to stay awake much longer."

"Samara's right. And to help you rest, there's a panel in each of your rooms. You can adjust the theme to your desired time period to make it feel more like home." Sensei said to the new Rangers.
