 Thanks to Gracie for the banner dipped in awesome sauce. PlotThe year is currently 2013 where the limit of flesh meets the potential of aura within man. In the year 1993, two doctors began working on a project that was set to test what humans are capable of when their aura is of a higher level. On one side, you have Dr. Mac Connor, who believed that humans can achieve their maximum aura potential when put in the correct situation with the proper training. On the other side, you had Dr. Vance Gio who adopted a more extreme approach, believing that a human can reach their aura based potential through sheer manufacturing and scientific formulas. Together, the two conducted their experiments, with the roadblocks coming more often due to their differences in methods. Months into their experiments, the two scientists discovered six jewels, each radiating a mighty aura and while this discovery would propel their work into new heights, the doctors had vastly different ideas. Dr. Connor wanted to use the jewels to help people and ultimately improve life on earth. Dr. Gio wanted to use that power for personal gain and force the world into his way of thinking. Desperate to achieve his goal, Dr. Gio began to engage in criminal activity in order to gain access to the funds and resources needed to continue his research. Dr. Connor feared that nothing good was going to come from Dr. Gio’s steady drop into darkness and in order to stop him; Dr. Connor was preparing to take the Aura Jewels and leave, but ran into a deadly roadblock in Dr. Gio and some hired help. A brief struggle ensued, resulting in Dr. Connor escaping with his life, but in his haste, he dropped one of the six jewels, leaving Dr. Gio with something to continue his work. Fast forward to present day and the two former colleagues and former friends could not be in more opposite directions. Dr. Connor discovered that the power of the jewels could only be triggered in the hands of someone they deemed worthy. Without having an actual guide as to who to search for, Dr. Connor began traveling around the country, monitoring when the jewels were most responsive. For years, his success was minimal at best until he stumbled upon Zen City where a local teen concert was the answer he was looking for. At the concert, all five jewels began to glow brighter than before, indicating that their chosen users were close. In order to narrow it down and find the specific five people, Dr. Connor took a job at the local high school, teaching history to its teenagers in hopes of finding them in time so that they may combat the growing evil, a greater power that Dr. Gio had now aligned himself with. The clock was now ticking and Dr. Connor now has to work quickly if he wants any chance improving or at least maintaining life as we know it. Rules* No Original Rangers. The Rangers can also switch their blasters into blade mode for additional versatility as well as use all five together for a team attack. Aura Sword: Personal weapon of the Red Ranger. Aura Axe: Personal weapon of the Black Ranger. Aura Lance: Personal Weapon of the Blue Ranger. Aura Daggers: Personal Weapon of the Yellow Ranger. Aura Bow: Personal Weapon of the Pink Ranger. Big Bang Blaster: Consists of all five Aura weapons. Communicator: Used by the Rangers to teleport on Ranger business only. "Looks like we won't have much time to blend... incoming!" Karl pointed at one of the incoming monsters, an early foe to the Rangers who appeared to be searching for something in the school that was crumbling at the seems.
"Pardon me! Would you please come out, Rangers? I would be delighted to make your acquaintance again before we engage in combat!"
"Is that the uber-polite monster you guys fought early on?" Eddie asked, puzzled by a monster that was so..courteous.

"See... I was thinking with lockdown protocols, nobody would be allowed to leave the rooms they were in..." Bronson said. "But hey, eff the rules," Bronson said.
"Pardon me! Would you please come out, Rangers? I would be delighted to make your acquaintance again before we engage in combat!"
"Is that the uber-polite monster you guys fought early on?" Eddie asked, puzzled by a monster that was so..courteous.
"Yeah, the same monster who suffers a lot from our bone puns... mostly my bone puns." Sean replied with a shrug.
"Look, I'll take the Cryptkeeper any day of the week. Just keep me the hell away from Magicka," Bronson said, shuddering a bit. "If we can make it to the bathroom, we're golden. Let's just run like hell and make it work." Wasting no more time, Bronson went over to the door and jerked it open, throwing himself into the panic of the crowd as they attempted to evacuate.

"As long as I'm not near Eye Spy, I should be fine." Sean cringed when he mentioned that monster who sent him away. Shaking himself from stupor, the Blue Ranger follows Bronson out the newsroom door and blends in with the crowd so that way, he could get to the bathroom in no time.

Zoey was slow to follow everyone until she got nudged by Devin.
"Come on, Zo. We gotta go!"
Nodding, she went with Devin and followed the others with Karl bringing up the rear to watch their backs.

Nodding, she went with Devin and followed the others with Karl bringing up the rear to watch their backs.
"Yeah... Gio had an eclectic taste in monsters. Big Shot still has to be one of the strangest, being part pineapple and all," Bronson said. Making it into one of the bathrooms, he quickly searched it for occupants before giving the go ahead for the others. "Block that door. We still have identities to protect..." he said, casting a slightly sour look towards Zoey.

Once inside the restroom, Sean waits for the others to go in before he blocks the door. Then he placed a hand on Zoey's shoulder, letting her know not blame herself for this mess.

Zoey held her head down in shame, knowing that she screwed up. Even with Sean's encouragement, Zoey was still down on herself. "I think the coast is cl..." *FLUSH* Eddie was cut off by the sound of a toilet flushing. Fearing that it was a teen in hiding, the Green Ranger knocked on the bathroom stall. When the stall opened, it was revealed to be a new monster from Gio in the stall. "OOOOOOOHHHHHH! Boss Man said you kids would try to come here! I am Fly Boy and you kids are about to get worked by this super bird!"  |

"You've been waiting for this opportunity to catch us don't you, Bird Brain." Sean rolls his eyes in aggravation as he goes into his fighting stance.
"Uh, we're in a bathroom!" Devin exclaimed. "Six of us in here with an oversized bird with no room to fight!"
"I'll stay.."
"What!? Zoey, what are you talking about?" Eddie looked puzzled at Zoey's sudden declaration.
"Devin just said it. We're in a bathroom. There's no way all of us are getting away like this. We need someone to stay here and keep him busy."

"Bronson, please!" Zoey wasn't one to let her gruff exterior down but in this case, she couldn't help but to let the tears flow as she knew that had she not put herself above the team, the team wouldn't have been so distracted and would have seen this coming. "I know it's not ideal but I have to do this! Besides, I can hold him off long enough for you guys to get out. Please...."
"We don't have time to argue over this bro!" Karl pointed out.
"Karl's right, B. It's your call but you need to make it fast." Eddie's words were nearly drowned out by the sound of more of the school's structure coming down.

Bronson's temper was flaring as he glared silently at Zoey, Karl, and Eddie in turn. "Fine, we'll both stay," Bronson said. "Karl, Eddie, same plan. Now go!"
