Another thing I was thinking what if they do show as hour long vs a half hour. So then if it was only 13 episode season that would be equal to 40 half hour episodes? They're not gonna do hour long episodes for a show aimed at 5 year olds. Lolol wut

Oh no wonder what happened. Did he decide to leave project? Did hasbro drop him...... Its not confirmed, but it's believed that it's because of Netflix and their massive cut backs cancelling shows and completely desimating their animation studios. They’re getting nervous and making a lot of mistakes. Maybe they don’t think a PR reboot is viable right now, so they’re setting it off to the side. Or...Enwisthle has either quit or been removed from the project due to creative differences, the same reason Jon Watts walked off on the MCU Fantastic Four project. Or....it's just nothing at all. He could have removed all mention of Power Rangers from his social media accounts just because.

Was Entwistle in charge of whatever this 2023 mini-project is? I thought he was just the new movie guy.

Just like Simon, when he told fans on his Twitter to not bother him with questions on what's the next Power Rangers series. Anyways, as for Jon Watts, creative differences wasn't the reason he walked off on the MCU Fantastic Four project. He stated that he wanted to take a break from doing Super hero movies for awhile. Those 3 Spier-Man films was a lot of work for him from 2015 to 2022.

I do think Entwistle is being removed. It's just this "Reboot project" or something of him is taking too long. We should have some news about that, just to hype. But...nothing.
I also believe Netflix is doing a lot of mistakes, and they have to redo a lot of stuff. There were mayor controversies and directions in latest years that made people abandon Netflix. Plus, Disney, Amazon and Paramount are being a big competition for them.
Anyway, I didn't trust fully in Johnathan Entwistle as the "Kevin Feige" of the franchise. So, if he's gone, that's OK to me. I hope the next guy have some better credentials.
I would want to believe that, but I don't fully trust that kind of explanation. Hollywood is very....not on saying the things as they should, so my skepticism says it's probably for other reasons. Creative differences? Probably.

I'm only speaking for myself. Personally I don't want any other guy doing the project, I don't know this project to be done at all. It completely unnecessary and desperate. Doing all these unnecessary endeavors instead of fixing the current show's format.

A new reboot is unnecessary and desperate. But handling the franchise with a guy which his last series was cancelled after one season, doesn't give me faith. I agree. Let's fix the series. Make something original, Hasbro. The Koreans did it. Granted, it was a sequel/rip off of Kyouryuger, but they did it....

Make something original, Hasbro. The Koreans did it. Granted, it was a sequel/rip off of Kyouryuger, but they did it.... I agree, too. To quote someone, this is a guy whose entire filmography is so edgy and ham-fisted you can cut yourself whilst reading his IMDB page. His project was saddled with the guy who wrote TITANS, for Pete's sake, a show people stopped caring about after it massacred the Trigon arc. And he had been tasked to work on an MMPR reboot, with full creative control, from a company that's inexperienced in making live-action properties. And it BARELY got Dino Fury off the ground with Season 1, only to stick the landing once Season 2 came. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person, but let's be honest here; does anyone remember the backlash Power/Rangers got? Chances are his reboot would've either mirrored that or made it look pleasant by comparison. Saying Entwisthle is perfect for the Power Rangers movie is like saying Ben Ramsey was perfect for Dragon Ball, and we all know well that turned out.
