Well trailer wasn't to bad. I liked the song used in trailer. And it did set up story and plot for first season. Though I didn't expect a much darker tone I was expecting more tone style like the cw shows are and not the more mature marvel Netflix shows. I did think raven was done well story wise. Robin wasn't to bad but let's see how season plays out. As for bb and star it's to bad we didn't get more from them in trailer. And it still makes me wonder bb and star why the heck didn't they go practical for makeup. Bb you could get away easy if he always has long sleeve shirts or jackets on and just have to do hair and face makeup. Star same case face chest and arm makeup. Why do there skin tones in post? I really want to be able to watch this show when it premieres, but the steep annual price, coupled with the lack of availability of DC Universe on the platforms I use the most (Kindle Fire and PlayStation 4), means I won't be able to, which is frustrating.

My deal so far with show is the practical looks for starfire and beast boy. I don't see why they didn't do just regular makeup on them for orange and green skin and just only happens when they power up. As it just leaves star actress regular skin tone.

Personally I don't mind the lack of the normal skintones for Starfire and Beast Boy. They're doing something new with the characters and that's fine. Can't expect everything to stick close to the comics. I'm just waiting to see what the long game is with Raven.

A bit of a shame the age gap between actors means there's likely no chance of Gar/Rae in this series.

A bit of a shame the age gap between actors means there's likely no chance of Gar/Rae in this series. I really don't understand this mindset or the rationale behind it. The only way the age difference between Ryan Potter and Teagan Croft would be an issue is if Teagan's parents don't agree to consent to her portraying a romantic relationship as part of her acting duties, or if a romance between the actors were to develop in real life. Otherwise, there's absolutely nothing stopping a Gar/Raven relationship on this series besides a lack of interest in pursuing such a relationship on the part of the creators behind it. On a different note, the positive reviews for Titans that I've seen are both fascinating and frustrating (fascinating because they highlight things that I'm very much interested in, and frustrating because of my previously-mentioned inability to actually watch the series).

I'm really trying to enjoy Titans. Some of the dialogue is pretty bad, characterization's off at some points but it is enjoyable. Critics were right from New York ComicCon, Anna Diop's Starfire is enjoyable to watch. I really just wish they'd tone down the Grimdark aspects and stop with the shaky cam and quick cuts.

Ya there is some good parts. But I think it was a wrong approach going a more mature feel and take. Should have been more in line like the cw shows. Where you do mature things but all the blood and guts and f bombs not needed.

Sorry to revive a nearly 2 year old dead thread, but we got our first look at Jason Todd as Red Hood for Season 3. I like how it looks and it's more in line with some of the current looks for the character in the comics. Can't wait to see how this looks in action.
