So did any one watch the TV airing last night. I did like seeing the few added in scenes did flesh out some more stuff with maximus and a little more with the scientists folks. Overall I don't feel it's totally bad show.

What a premiere. I figured out that kid's power instantly because my character in my main stories, not an Inhuman, would often have visions at random times that would stun him.

Its really good. I hope they add other Marvel characters that are in the MCU in the series like in agents of shield.

Any one watch episode 3 last night. Was nice to see bolt gain a friend in jail and Medusa getting close to getting back with him. Karnak he sure is in a tough spot. Also glad crystal and lock jaw got away from maximus.

It's not even out yet in the UK or at least to my own knowledge, so I watched some scenes of it on YT.
It looked okay. Wasn't a fan of Tritons actor or the one with the hooves who I forgot the name of. (Gorgon? or someone else?) Also not a fan of Crystals actor. Really like Serinda Swan though and Black Bolt and Maximus's actors.

This show has a lot of problems, the biggest one being that the sense of morality they're trying to play is completely skewered. Maximus wants to abolish slavery. The rest of the family just wants to regain their lifestyle of wealth and privelege. Why should we be rooting for them instead of Maximus? Maybe if the rest of the show saw them reflecting and becoming more moral, but nope. Black Bolt steals a suit and commits assault on the store personnel and the police. And now Medusa breaks and enters into someone's HOME and steals clothes, food and money. Crystal doesn't give a s***'about helping the inhumans who are lowly slaves like her own parents were and she just runs away. I don't want these violent thieving slaveowners to win.
The second biggest problem is the lack of powers. Black Bolt can't use his power. Medusa's power was shaved right off her head. Karnak got hit in the head now his power doesn't work. Crystal brags about what a powerhouse she is but we've only seen her shoot one wispy flame and cover some guards in light frost. Contrast this with The Gifted where everybody came out guns blazing.
The show is in desperate need of character development and a greater sfx budget, and I'm not confident we'll see either.

I don't think the show is still all bad. As for Medusa did she didn't have money and they don't get the human culture can you really fault her for a little stealing to help her find the others. As for black bolt he doesn't use his powers cause he really doesn't want to harm any one. As for Karnak it is odd they knock his powers out.

So we're halfway through the series yet I still feel like absolutely nothing has happened. For an 8 episode show you'd think the plot would move a lot more briskly, but no. At least two of them managed to find each other at the very end, but the rest of them are still separate in all of their weird filler plots that they've been given.
But the biggest problem is still the fact that the main characters just aren't likable. Medusa was rude as all hell to Louise and forced her to commit several crimes all in order to benfit herself and then selfishly tries to steal her things and runaway. Crystal was freaking rude and bratty to the man that ran into her GIGANTIC ALIEN DOG that TELEPORTED RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM WHILE HE WAS DRIVING, and even started using her powers on him. Like, this is how VILLAINS behave. And she did not improve in those barn scenes.
Gorgon's plot is okay and he's the only one with decent fight scenes, but it's a lottle odd how he and the hawaiian dudes see, to consider each other true family after knowing each other for like six minutes.
Karnak's is just fricking bizarre. I feel like the writers must have been high when they came up with this plot.
Mordis looks horrible and Auran is annoying
Even as he gets crazier Maximus remains the most sympathetic character.

I thought it was interesting maximus was working with that scientist guy. I did like Medusa and bolt got back together.

Well I thought last night episode was a better one of the bunch. Some nice back history with Karnak and gorgon. I did like the development with crystal and the human dude. And was nice to see most of the group got back together. The end with the terragenesis guy meeting with group who want maximus out was neat.

So the last episode is the first one that i thought wasn't completely terrible. I finally started to feel like they were portraying how by spending time with Earth people the Inhumans were softening and reflecting on their terrible culture, and at least they sort of explained why Medusa would willingly date the son of her parent's murderers. The fact that she still tried to passionately defend their caste system is still atrocious though.
Karnak's plot was still ridiculous, like I can't even imagine how that ever got approved to be included in the script.
I still think Triton deserved to actually be included in this show too.
The way they were all standing there and then suddenly the one girl collapsed, as if she suddenly just remembered she'd been shot brouht us right back around to terrible tho.
