It has been two years since the defeat of King Blackstone and the Space Pirates. It is now the year 2022 and the Crystal Machine Rangers have moved on as life granted them the extraordinary. However, when the Rangers stumble upon a secret base, they were met with an arsenal of knight-like keys that originally belong to a group of heroes that protected a small kingdom named Ryusaul thousands of years ago.
Not only that, a new force of evil has risen: a group of demons from the East called the Saigaima Guild, whose thirst for carnage and human flesh, has transpired to take control of Angel Grove and later the world. As they unleashed the massacre from their fingertips, the Rangers were met by former Dino Thunder mentor, Hayley Ziktor and grant them the power to access the keys and unlock their power to fight the new foes.

Episode Guide:
Two years had passed since the defeat of the Space Pirates and the remaining Rangers are now facing a new enemy but are granted new powers.
The second part of the episode, the Rangers meet Hayley Ziktor, the mentor of the Dino Thunder Rangers after getting their powers.
With their new powers and a new member of the team, the Rangers face a new revelation and they put their skills into the test.
Kagemaru finally makes his appearance, leaving the Rangers in a pinch.
In an effort to further promote Dream Chasers, Derek will be serving as the guest of an upcoming episode of the popular web series Hot Ones. Unfortunately, his journey to the top of the Scoville scale comes to a crashing halt as the wings have been secretly poisoned by Lord Kagemaru's forces, causing him to be haunted by what he believes to be the ghost of Big Red, his former crystal partner. Will he be able to push past the poison in time to help the other Rangers deal with Kagemaru's newest creature or will this last dab turn into his last dance?
Episode 06: Fade to Black (Black focus)
In a monster fight with one of Saigaima Guild's monsters, Colt who never makes a mistake injures a fellow ranger and it shakes him to the core to the point where he decides to give up the role of black ranger as he can't trust himself to make a mistake. He decides to leave when a former black ranger finds him and helps him to regain his courage but a little to late as the monster returns and the former ranger takes a risky action. Will Colt step up to the plate?
The Rangers face two new foes: twin brothers, Suzakuro and Seiryuzo and they turn out to be a force to be reckoned with. Will the Rangers be able to overpower the brothers?
With Mackenzie's parents' wedding anniversary coming up, she decides to meet their grave until she meets a little girl who had run away from an orphanage and the two bonded. However, when Kyuubiko sends down a monster that kidnaps orphaned children, Mackenzie was put in a position where she had to put her life on the line to save the girl along with the endangered children. Will she be able to save them or die trying?
Tyler is invited to meet his dad at one of the movies he is directing and producing and much to his shock, one of his favorite actors who has remembered him since he was a child. However, Suzakuro and Seiryuzo decide to crash the shooting, putting all of the cast and crew in danger. Tyler is forced to save his father's movie, not without trying to keep his secret from being exposed.
With Jax's birthday coming up, Amara starts to see her brother everywhere. When the ghost of the former Blue Ranger starts talking to her, Amara believes his lies, leading to tension with the returning Crystal Machine Rangers. What she doesn't know is that it's all a trick, and she'll have to stop the puppeteer behind the ghost before she burns bridges she can't repair.
For weeks, the Rangers have been saved by the Gold Ranger and the team finally get to see who is under the helmet. But when his identity get revealed, things began to unravel for the Rangers who remember his face.
Episode 12: Six is the New Five
After the fight against Kagemaru, Tyler is asked for a chance for redemption by the former Space Pirate by to prove that he has changed for the greater good which doesn't sit well with the others. But when Tengusuke comes into the fray, nearly putting the Rangers in danger, Crow is put to the test to prove himself that he is no longer the hated Space Pirate and gain his role as a Ranger.
Angered over the appearance of the Gold Ranger, Tengusuke decides to take matter into his own hands and face the former pirate himself. How will the Rangers be able to put their difference of him aside and help the Sixth Ranger?
Continuing with the battle against Tengusuke, the five Rangers unlock a new weapon and forms to put an end to the wind rogue's wrath.
Episode 15: Legion Thunder
Hayley gets a distress call from her hometown, Reefside where the Dino Thunder Rangers are facing a new Saigaima general. With the Dino Legion Rangers save these veteran Rangers before Reefside is destroyed?
Episode 16: Secrets and Lies
Suzakuro and Seiryuzo discover something about the Saigaima as well as Kagemaru, making them realize that things aren't always what it seems.
Episode 17: Saigaima Divided
The brothers' defection causes the Saigaima to unleash a great attack against the Rangers, putting them on the verge of death.
Episode 18: Big Trouble in Japan
The Rangers are off to Japan to enjoy the country but when the Saigiaima make their attack, the Rangers are met with a team with the skills of a ninja who have fought similar enemies years ago.
Episode 19: Shadows and Light
Tyler and Crow find themselves in a dark dimension without the ability to morph, nor contact the other Rangers thanks to Yaminosuke. The only way for them to survive is to face the darkness and fight their way into the light.
Episode 20: Dead Man Walking
It's now Halloween and the Rangers are getting ready for the time where they dress up and get lots of candy. But Kyuubiko decides to make a surprise for the Rangers by resurrecting King Blackstone from the dead, turning the spookiest day of the year into a living nightmare.
Episode 21: Knightly Battalion
In their last attempt, the Rangers' Command Center are attacked by the Kaonashi and the Seinashi soldiers, showing that the final battle is looming.
Episode 22: Black Hole Sun
With the Command Center being destroyed and struggling with the loss of the Yellow Ranger, the Dino Legion Rangers prepare their final battle as Kagemaru unleashes his horde in the city.
FINAL EPISODE: Legion Revolution
The Rangers embark in battle against the Saigaima Guild, one of the members changing sides and fellow Rangers returning to help fight and with the help of the final Armor Steel Key. Who will rise and who will fall?
