This decision wasn't easy, but I had to take it.
I have been a part of the PR fandom snce I joined PRE in the 2000s. When I got my first cable-based internet connection, I was able to download and see every season that has aired atr the time. My last season that I was actively watchng was RPM. It was the last PR season for which I have trully cared for and the last time I cared about the season's plot, story, characters and pretty much everything else.
The Neo-Saban seasons weren't that good (except for - maybe - (Super) Samurai), although I did care for some episodes in various seasons for which I thought they were good. Since SMF ended, I have been on and off in watching Power Rangers and following what is going on with and within the PR fandom. I've basically skipped Dino (Super) Charge and (Super) Ninja Steel - safe for Dimensions in Danger. I've seen some Beast Morphers S2 episodes (the Dr.K. cameos, the Jason episode and the final two episodes) and although I liked them, they just weren't enough to keep my interest into the PR Sentai adaptations overall. The same thing happened with the first few Dino Fury episodes. Although there's some stuff that I liked, but it just didn't do it for me.
I'm too old for Power Rangers already and I think it's safe to say that I have grown out of it. It's time to move on. However, I still plan on dropping by on various PR boards that are still around, including this one. To be honest, I haven't been participating in PR-based forum discussions that much lately. With each new season, I've been loosing interest in Power Rangers more and more. I still plan to see what Hasbro has in store for the franchise, though. I'll give that a shot for old times sake. If it turns out to be good, then I'll stick around. If it turns out bad, I'm out of the PR fandom altogether.
I have been actively thinking about doing this for a while now, but the recent staff resigning on this very board was the last conformation I needed that I was thinking into the right direction.
I'll still re-watch the Super Sentai seasons that I already have, but after that, I will be deleting everything PR-related from my external HDD except for the music soundtracks. I will not be watching any more new Sentai season either.

I know how you feel man. I, unfortunately, will not be watching anymore Power Rangers seasons after Dino Fury (Season Two). And I have given up on all these newer Super Sentai shows after Ryuusoulger. For me?! I am only going to be looking at the past Sentai shows from the 1970's to 1980's and I have already started watching Kamen Rider (1971) and Kamen Rider Kuuga. And that's it. Oh and btw, the Beast Morphers episode that had Jason Lee Scott/Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger make an appearance, that the third part of the Beast Morphers/Dino Charge/3 Dino Rangers team-up episode. Aka...the Americanized version of "Kyoryuger VS Go-Busters" aka...the adaptation of one of the worst Sentai team-up movies in the 2010's.

^ Beast Morphers' adaption of that movie wasn't much better either, with Devon's only contribution being summoning Jason and destroying Robo Blaze while the other four do basically nothing! Which is totally in character for Zoey, but I expect more from the others. Why would they even bother with a superfluous dinosaur crossover a year before Dino Fury? It makes no sense. Gobusters VS Gokaiger would have been a much better choice to adapt.
I hope you guys have a happy retirement though! I'd like to convince you to stay, but if you ain't enjoying the franchise, then fair enough. Sometimes you just got to know when to quit, you know? Personally, I appreciate what Dino Fury is doing with the new direction so I have hope that they can put the last decade of relative mediocrity behind it.

I agree with mnikolic that RPM truly was the end of Power Rangers' natural lifespan and story. It felt appropriate to end the franchise at the time on a big high-stakes end-of-the-world concept.
As much as some of the Neo-Saban stuff has occasionally entertained me, to me it hasn't felt quite the same beast and definitely doesn't have the same relevancy. It's more on par with 'new' Simpsons or 'new' Doctor Who, there's not much care given to the continuity or cohesiveness anymore...ultimately, are you left with the same broom at the end? No, you're not.
The level of entitlement from the fandom has also soured me on interactions. I never understood the blistering hatred some have for Dino Supercharge for instance, Dimensions In Danger was a solid crossover, and Beast Morphers to me was an adequate season that I really enjoyed watching 'live' during the international airings here in the UK, being one step ahead of the States, but ask certain 'instigative' fans on other communities and they'll have you brainwashed into thinking all of that was more 'problematic' than it actually ever reasonably was. Ungrateful imbeciles.
What gets me is that Dino Fury truly is no different from a lot of Neo-Saban series the more it goes on, but they all act like it's the second coming of Jesus. I reckon it's because they know the landscape of Power Rangers is irrevocably changing after this series is through and to them, any slight improvement on PR in a season with nothing left to lose is better than no improvement at all. All of that is subjective but what can you do?
I'll be hitting 40 in 2022, I've watched Power Rangers for 30 years, I'll probably always still follow it because there's not a whole lot else I follow. I consider myself a Transformers fan but I'm as causal as all muck when it comes to that franchise these days, I'm nothing like what I was when I was a fan of G1, Beast Wars/Machines, RID, Armada, and TF Animated, I don't even follow the comic book lore as diligently.
Same with Pokemon, I still 'follow it', but I'm perfectly content to be an Indigo master than an all 'rounder, I was perfectly content mastering Red and Blue and watching Ash win the Orange Islands. Not much passion for the rest of the franchise or the anime.
So, for me, Power Rangers may well just turn into a casual interest, not as passionate as I was before, but not entirely tuning out.

Adaptng Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger would be much better and it would be a chance to at least wrap up SMF's storyline. Casual interest is fine and having one in a fanchise is also fine. I'm glad we're on the same page on that. As well as with with the RPM being the last of PR natural lifespan and story. The show should have ended there. I don't think PR ending then would have influenced how Sentai was/is done. We'd still get the same Sentai seasons that we got from Shinkenger onwards.

Personally, I appreciate what Dino Fury is doing with the new direction so I have hope that they can put the last decade of relative mediocrity behind it. But then again, if Hasbro did decided to adapt "Go-Busters VS Gokaiger" there would still be a lot of fans who have the mentality of "Why are you trying to make us care about all of the characters from Power Rangers Megaforce/Super Megaforce?" I mean, think about you, despite seeing the cast members of Megaforce coming back for this one mini-reunion/crossover with the new cast members of Beast Morphers and seeing how much their acting has improved especially, Troy's acting. The real question you need to be asking yourself is "Why?" Why should anybody care about seeing the Megaforce team coming back and interacting with the Beast Morphers, when the entire fandom has openly-acknowledged how terrible of a season, Super Megaforce was and how much of a letdown the "Legendary Battle" was?! I mean, you can't justify laziness and incompetence from a previous show-runner like Jonathan Tzachor. I mean, it was like that with the Power Rangers Zeo two-parter, "Rangers of Two Worlds" aka the team-up episodes between the cast of Power Rangers Zeo and Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers or "the adapted version of Ohranger VS Kakuranger." Hardly anyone cared about seeing the Alien Rangers coming back for this one "get-together," despite the production's best efforts to make the Alien Rangers feel like they mean something in these two episodes. And that's because we only had like what?! 10, 13 episodes of Sentai footage from Kakuranger to burn out in that mini-series. So, that's all I have to say about that.

^ I mean, those people who don't like Mega Force can just not watch the crossover, right? They're not the target demographic. The whole point of bringing back the Mega Force cast would be for the people who are actually fans of that show and the kids who grew up with that show 8 years ago. Take Kamen Rider Ghost for example, it was voted one of the least popular Rider shows in a recent official poll, but that didn't deter Nishime Shun from returning as Takeru for the Saber x Ghost crossover. Even if the majority of the adult fanbase has panned Mega Force, it would still have been worth doing for those who enjoyed it and especially for the Beast Morphers fans who wanted those characters to have more equal contribution. There could still have been something to appeal to Dino Charge fans, since Kyoryuger made their cameo in Gobusters VS Gokaiger. And I haven't even mentioned all the cool stuff that general fans would love, such as the Megazord Legendary Modes! Seriously a missed opportunity.
Regarding Andrew Gray's acting, I'm not even sure that's the problem, the same way I give the benefit of the doubt to Jacqueline Scislowski that her acting isn't the problem. More like it's just how their characters were executed that was the problem. When you have to say OOC and pretentious lines like (paraphrasing) "A Power Ranger never drops their weapon!", or ridiculous lines like "No thanks, Devon, I'm going to eat this carrot instead", no amount of acting ability is going to make that work. The quality of dialogue seems to have improved with Dino Fury now that Hasbro have fully transitioned in to running the franchise, so it was probably Saban Brands who were at fault before. Even with Dino Fury sticking to the gratuitous comedy duo trope, it seems like they're trying to phase that out, in favor of more natural comedy.
I totally agree with you about not giving a damn about the Alien Rangers though.

I'm 43 and already starting to grow out of it. Been watching Power Rangers since 1993 (age 15). I was going to stop watching Power Rangers by the time I'm 50 but I might change my mind and stop watching in 2 years instead (age 45). On PRE, I was ForeverBlue (I think lol). First Power Rangers board I joined was Rangerboard and eventually RangerTalk came, Power Rangers Network, and PRE

I now the feeling: Ninja Steel and Super Ninja Steel feels, thanks to bad humor and one-dimensional characters, like the series were regressing, more than progressing. The drama, the stakes are low too. Beast Morphers was an improvement, but it was average at best. The same as Dino Steel. It's OK. But I watch Zenkaiger and I like it, I don't gonna lie. It's silly and smart at the same time. But probably I'm gonna eep watching PR a little more. Unless, Hasbro do another stupid reboot or animated series. Then I will be gone.

I watched the first few episodes of Zenkaiger too. I don't know why, but the season just didn't click with me. Much like Goseiger.
Anyway, it'd done: Excpet the PR and Sentai themes and songs, there's no PR/Sentai related content on my laptop or my external HDD. Besides, I need the space anyway for something more important.
I enjoyed Jungle Fury and I loved RPM. Hated Operation Overdrive because it was so rushed, not even the cast was able to salvage it with their acting. I used to hate Turbo, but once you see Operation Overdrive, you basically start begging yourself to watch Turbo. Which was the case with me.

An animated series on Power Rangers, on the other hand.....well it's complicated.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if, for example, they adapt a cinema/TV mini series format on a streaming service and television. They could do a feature release first and then, perhaps a longer version of the movie's story so more story detailes are revealed, additional character development and overall plot & story advancement. Then proceed to doing a second movie and another mini series and so on based on how many feature releaes they manage to produce. That way, a new TV franchise could be started and maintained while connected to the newly espablished cinema universe so that the fracnhise could still have a "TV" version primarily on streaming services and on television as an addition.

I agree with your retirement. Its just not the same product. To me, they are like WWE (for those who watch it), they keep re inventing the same wheel and not listening to the fans. As much as I appreciate PR, Im slowly growing away from it. Just like WWE Im becoming more if a fan of behind the scenes than I am the actual product. I enjoy coming to this page and reading about you guys opinions, news, blogs etc. Im hoping the series gives up better product. As a 38 year old, I know they will never cater to my age😂😂. And I dont expect them to (except when this movie drops) but hopefully Hasbro can give us some good product in the future for us old heads. (CW series maybe)🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
