Shotaro listened as Ikamashi and Isaiah explained the situation while he laid his hands on Abby's injury "I call on the light of the grid to mend what has been broken" Shotaro intoned softly as a soft white light emerged from his fingertips sealing up Abby's cut
"There you go good as new" Shotaro said chuckling a little as he remembered the healing technique taught to him by his mother as Shotaro heard Corey say he would still fight he nodded resolutely himself as he stood up "I don't know if I'm cut out to be a leader but I will fight to protect the innocent and this city" Shotaro said
"Well now I wouldn't be able to back out even if I wanted too. Thanks a lot." Abby hoped that her pouting exaggerated pouting as she said the last part made clear she wasn't really serious, ven if she still wasn't too thrilled about the whole thing. Shotara healing her cut surprised her but not as much as it normally would have after everything she just went through thou she couldn't help but wonder why she was only one who actually got injured given that Baku not only attacked all three of them but even got Cory twice.
Cory and the others were in agreement. They all understood the bigger picture and while they all surely had their questions, there was no doubt they indeed were the last line of Defense for Angel Grove. Cory had his doubts about the team but regardless they were one.
Baku appeared back in the ship and immediately kneeled before Zonbu.
"Lord Zonbu... forgive me... I thought Grazer would be enough... but it seems Takashi has found new Rangers... we were unprepared."
Zonbu sat in silence before chuckling to a very confused Baku who looked up at him.
"I see... the Old Fool just won't quit... it's almost admirable... foolish... but admirable... I'm not worried Baku... after all... we have..."
He stood up pointing across the room to a room that contained a giant chamber. Inside of it seemed to be a person floating in the water.
Zonbu began to cackle as Baku nodded in understanding.
Episode : Together as One! Enter the Shinobi Strike Megazord!
It had been a few days since the last battle against Grazer. Cory was still a bit sore honestly but there would be no days off for him as long as Zonbu was still out there.
Isaiah had sent multiple messages to the Rangers which slightly annoyed Cory but enticed hin when they were told they were going to go over a powerful technique.
Cory was the first at the dojo and walked in greeting Takashi and Isaiah with a bow as he set his bags to the side. "So, it's been quiet for a few days now. You sure Zonbu isn't shaking in his boots knowing there are new Rangers in town?" He smirked a bit.
"If only it was that easy" Isaiah admitted. "I'd prefer if that was enough to scare him off."
Cory crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall.
(Okay guys either walk in to the Dojo, or do your normal routines and be on the way!)
Having received multiple messages over the last few days Abby finally decided to head for the Dojo. She knew the whole Ranger thing was important and they were protecting the city if not the world but she still had her own life, with the same no doubt applying to her team mates. Still she wasn't gonna sit around when an important and powerful technique was offered, after all the sooner the Nara clan was defeated the better.
She quickly made her way to the alley and pressed the Ikamashi symbol on the wall entering the Dojo and heading straight for Takashi and Isaiah. "Okay, so what is this technique you want us to learn?"
Shotaro finished packing his overnight bag and started to make his way towards the alley that hid the dojo it wasn't like he was going to move in to the dojo but he decided to pack a bag with some essentials just in case he had to stay over night once or twice
He pressed the symbol and was teleported to the dojo as he crossed the expansive Zen garden he saw his teammates and Ikamashi and Isaiah already waiting for him "Good morning everyone" he said with a small smile as he set his overnight bag down and bowed respectfully towards Ikamashi and Isaiah
Takashi stood in front of the Three Rangers before showing them three pictures. Each representing their respective elements. There were three warriors.
"These are the Three Legendary Ikamashi Warriors... Master Salamander... Oceania... and Gale... the most powerful beings of our clan... and the reason you are able to tap into your abilities in fact... their spirits are inside of your Shinobi Stars."
Takashi then stepped aside as Isaiah handed them special black scrolls similar to the mini scrolls in their belts when in Ranger form.
"Legends say those who are truly attuned to their Star are able to utilize the raw power of these ancestors with these scrolls you'll be able to tap into that power and transform... in your Striker Zord Forms."
Isaiah was all smiles clearly excited.
"But that's not the best part! These scrolls mixed with with your chakra will allow you to combine together and form the Shinobi Strike Megazord!"
Takashi nodded before speaking. "Such a technique has never been done before... combing the three spirits... all vastly different in personality just like you all... in order to accomplish such a feat will take synchronizing and team work."
Abby felt like she had to speak up after the point of their training was revealed after Shotaro joined them. "Not that I doubt that those scrolls will do what you say after everything we went through but how does a legend like even get started? I mean the spirit thing okay, the Stars have some sentience and connection to the same element but how does someone decide you know know I'm betting that by fully attuning to this Star I would be able to turn into a giant robot?"
Despite her ranting Abby hoped she didn't insult Takashi or Isaiah but she felt like she had to ask even if there likely was no rational explanation since for all she knew the Three Legendary Ikamashi Warriors told someone about it in a dream or it was wriiten on some kinda hidden scroll in the past.
"Most of the Shinobi Rangers were granted the ability to assume a titan form channeling the power of the ancestors." Takashi attempted to explain.
"These scrolls contain a carbon fiber that can expand greatly and is designed to work and look like robotic armor for said Titan Form. I figured a more modern look as well as weaponry would be in order... especially as you guys have no idea what's in store against you." Isaiah chimed in.
"What do you mean?" Cory asked.
"The Nara clan specialize in the Titan form... only a handful of the Ikamashi were able to and it ended up being those who wielded the stars. You all managed to defeat Grazer before he could tap into his ability thankfully." Takashi explained further.
Shotaro listened to Ikamashi's explanation of the Titan powers and his jaw dropped in surprise when the shock wore off he spoke up "Master Ikamashi I mean no disrespect but we literally just became Rangers yesterday how can we be expected to fully bond with the spirit of our ninja stars? That could take months at least and we don't have that kind of time it's not like we can just read a book about how to turn into giant robots" he said trying to be as respectful as possible while also being pragmatic
While Cory fought back the urge to bring up it had been a few days since becoming Rangers it still didn't negate the fact they still lacked experience. He gave Shotaru and Abby that but then he became frustrated.
"So what Shotaru you expect us to have peaceful learning sessions and for Zonbu not to attack again? Fearless leader may not be in you clearly... but all this whining while The Nara Clan get stronger isn't going to solve anything either. That's the point of training so we can master this stuff."
Cory shook his head.
"You are not wrong in your feelings Shotaru... even I hadn't mastered everything in a short amount of time... but Cory is right... that is the point of training. So every day we can help you all get stronger and be an opposing force to Zonbu." Takashi said calmly.
"You guys definitely need more training but that's what we're here for. Look the combining together this is more of a wishful theory than anything. No Shinobi Rangers have every actually been able to do so... but I feel we can at least help you each reach your titan forms." Isaiah said as he sat down in front of the computer screen.
Meanwhile on Zonbu's Ship.
Zonbu sat in his captain's chair tapping his fingers on the arm rest, deep in thought. He hadn't anticipated a new team of Rangers. And he wasn't back to his full strength yet since coming back from the dead.
Baku then walked in pushing past a Nara bot that stumbled over and collided with another. Baku knelt before his Master.
"Master... I know I failed you days ago... but I have found a way to rectify it..."
"Oh? Pray tell what that might be?"
A monster wielding a Shield and jousting Lance walked into the room and knelt beside Baku.
"Gozu at your service!"
"Gozu hails from the Ban clan... experts in Shields and Force fields... he'll be more than a match for the Rangers."
Zonbu rose in his seat then quickly sat back down coughing heavily before taking a drink of something from a flask. "You had better be right...for your sake...."
Shotaro bit his tongue he didn't want to argue with Corey and he knew that doing so would just waste time time they didn't have so he exhaled slowly he didn't want to be leader he had no idea why the red ninja star chose him in the first place he wasn't as fierce a warrior as his father and he wasn't a dedicated healer like his mother even repairing small injuries took him months to master he knew all this but it didn't make it easier to stomach
"What's our first step in communicating with the ninja stars? He asked Isaiah and Ikamashi "If we are going to bond with them we need to know how to talk to them" Shotaro said

Abby was surprised that she actually got an explanation, though one that made the legend sound more like a theory than anything and she couldn't help but wonder why her grandfather never mentioned anything like this when talking about his uncle. She didn't mention that though as she felt she was being nitpicky enough. Both Cory and Shotaro brought up good points, in that they would need more in order to connect with the spirits and that the Nara's wouldn't give them that time. It seemed an argument was about to break out between them but Takashi managed to put a stop for it before it could get serious but it did make her wonder if Cory actually accepted Shotaro as leader. During their battle with Grazer the Blue Ranger had been more or less calling the shots after all. For now she kept quiet about her suspicions since she didn't want to set her teammates off again.
"The Stars resonate with your Mind, Body, and Soul... the reason you are able to use your Ninja Arts and morph is because you already have a bond with the stars as they have selected you. In order for that bond to continue and grow your hearts and minds must be clear of clutter... focus on the importance of your tasks at hand and the stars will hear you."
Takashi then looked at the three with a serious expression. "It is imperative that you all believe in not only yourselves... but in each other as well... teamwork is the only way to defeat the Nara."
Cory turned his head away to roll his eyes before turning back and nodding. "Well then... let's get to work."
Shotaro nodded in understanding and saw Cory roll his eyes slightly but said nothing about it. He was pretty sure that Cory didn't value himself and Abby as teammates in fact he was pretty sure that if Corey had the option to take down the Nara clan by himself he would
