Personality: Hot headed and temperamental, Sora enjoys a fight. He’ll pick a fight just to give himself something to do if he’s bored, and he doesn’t care who it is. Under the brash exterior is a broken teenager who just wants acceptance after a life of hardships. After taking down the Fallen and finding his place in the world, Sora mellowed out and learned to roll with the punches, accepting what happens and doing what he could to fight back.
History: Born at the turn of the century, Sora’s parents were the typical “You have to” overbearing types. His father worked as an archeologist and scholar, and his mother was a senator. When he was fourteen years old, Sora’s world came crashing down. His father disappeared during an archeological dig in Iran, being declared dead after six months. In that same time, his mother contracted a rare cancer, putting her in the hospital on life support until her time was up. Being taken in by his grandmother, Sora’s entire attitude changed.
After a few weeks of bad grades, detentions, and general troublemaking, his grandmother was approached by Tommy Oliver with an offer. His new Academy saw potential in Sora and wanted to bring him into the fold, hoping to center the young man’s anger and temper into something he could use without harming anyone. Sora packed and was off to the Academy, finding he wasn’t the only one there with problems, As the next five years went on, Sora fell back into a routine that saw his grades pick up and his social life start to flourish again.
Unfortunately, when the Fallen decided to try and take the Dino Edge for themselves, Sora wasn’t able to stop them. Instead, the Red Edge Key appeared in his hands, signaling a new change for the young man. The Red Edge Key, imbued with the power of the Tyrannosaurus, saw a dedication to others and a desire to help his fallen friends, no matter the cost, opening a new chapter in the troubled teenager’s life.
After taking down the Fallen and losing two of his team, Sora retreated into himself again, trying to find a way to move past the harsh loss of the Pink and Green Rangers. Turning his attention to something of his mothers taht he remembered when she wasn't in Washington as a senator, the former Red Ranger threw himself into the kitchen, finding a passion for creation that led him to open a diner in Angel Grove.
On a rare day off from his diner, he was touring hte museum when it was attacked by the Dark Abyss. Never one to stand by while a fight happens, he suited up for the last time as the Red Edge Ranger, only to have his morpher destroyed in the ensuing battle. He wouldn't be without power for long, however, as the Igenous Triggers quickly responded to his fiery passion to protect innocents and end the new looking threat.
