It was morphenomenal! Though I still hate the attack names. But I got chills upon hearing Jason shout "It's Morphin Time!". I've met Austin three times! And seeing him caused another surge of ideas for Fossil Surge's Dino Team Up. I even consulted with him about something. So glad they kept the zord battle! But to turn the big monster into a zord was stupid.

Adult Power Rangers fans get way too bogged down in fine details and can't seem to ever just enjoy anything. Being an adult is part of the problem but Ill say i enjoyed some of the build up. Being that same adult I know they can do better. I stopped watching PR during Zeo when I was a child. Probably earlier to be honest. Alien rangers was the nail in the coffin. It was only when I was bored one day and decided to watch PR and went in the rabbit hole, I ended up catching up to where I left off. This was about 4-5 years ago. I watched In Space and Time Force during this time, both of those were great seasons. So i know they can get this right. Beast Morpher is a good season so far also. But this cross over let me down. Biggest problem in my opinion is too many rangers in one episode. Jason shouldve had his own episode and Dino Charge have their own. But as an adult i also know this is all buildup for Dino Fury

It was a fine episode. We got Jason and a visit to the Dino Charge universe. The two guest villains get killed easily, and we never saw the true faces of the 4 main Morphing Rangers and the 3 Dino Thunder Rangers in this episode. We also never saw the face of the Pink and Green Dino Charge Rangers. I wish that we saw their faces.

(*sipping a cup of tea!!*) Well, I trust that some of y'all might have some mixed feelings and opinions about this episode, and I respect that. But, I, on the other hand, didn't had that much high expectations when I found out from the trailer for season two of Beast Morphers that they were going to adapt "Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters" into a team-up episode. And after watching this episode and the last two episodes, I knew it was a very big mistake to adapt this particular Sentai VS movie into an episode of Beast Morphers. I can understand why they chose to adapt this particular movie over "Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger" since a lot of people kept wondering why this was never adapted into an episode of Dino Super Charge. But, even if this was adapted into an episode of that particular season, it would still be a mess, either way.
And now, with this direction, it made the Beast Morphers team feel even lesser important to be in this crossover during the first and third episodes than the Go-Busters were in their own crossover with the Kyoryugers. Except the Beast Morphers team had more screen-time in all three episodes than the Go-Busters did in their cinematic crossover with the three Dino Ranger teams. But yet, the stock footage of "Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters" still made the Beast Morphers team feel like crap because they weren't even in the main battle with the Dino Ranger teams or with the Dino Charge rangers against Snide in part one. And that's just sad. But yeah, the return to Austin St. John as Jason Lee Scott (Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger), it was alright. At least it wasn't Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver, AGAIN!!! The inclusion of the Mighty Morphin and Dino Thunder ranger teams in-suits, yeah, it was SOOOOOOO painfully obvious that they couldn't even afford to get any of the other cast members of Mighty Morphin' to do voice-over work. Except for Mighty Morphin' Yellow since the original actress of Trini Kwan is unreachable aka DEEEAAAADDD!!! And Karen Ashley (Aisha Campbell), she's still known to a lot of fans as the replacement yellow ranger. The main Dino Thunder trio cast members, yeah we all pretty much knew that none of those guy were gonna come back. Well, only two of the main three Dino Thunder cast members. But Kevin Duhaney (Ethan James/Dino Thinder Blue Ranger), well he's probably too busy doing voice-over work on other animated projects in Canada or working on his new rap album. So, he was unavailable at the time. What I am trying to say is when it comes out certain kind of anniversary crossovers or adapting specific Sentai VS movies like Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters into episodes of Power Rangers, and getting some old actors to reprise their roles just for fanservice and nostalgia, you know that we are not that lucky because....THIS IS NOT LIKE HOW IT WAS IN THE F@$%'N SENTAI, PEOPLE!!!! POWER RANGERS IS NOTHING LIKE SUPER SENTAI!!!
(*sigh!*) But yeah. I rambled long enough. Overall, "Grid Connection." Good attempt, but still not as good as any of the past Power Rangers team-up episodes like "To the Tenth Power," "Reinforcements from the Future," "Always A Chance," or "Thunder Storm". This is why I shouldn't be expecting much for the next Power Rangers team-up episode in the near-future. If Hasbro decides to make more live-action episodes of Power Rangers without Toei.

Apparently there were some things cut for time from this episode, including an extended fight scene for each of the featured Dino Charge Rangers in their civilian gear

Like someone else said most team ups hardly explain how this bad guy or this or that rangers and powers are back when they been gone or what not. For me I thought the team up was good. Not the best ever but we had a solid story and build up over an arc of episodes. So sure was it the best no was it the worst no. I would put it in middle of ground. As for actors not there ya that part sucks. As if we had dt actors there or green and pink DC on set we could have done more. But also that does get to problems of what you can do and time restraints and who focus is on. Which is why I think it be better for future team ups to be single character deals. Or just deal with x current team with the last season team.

Anyone else but me notice that the Tyrannosaurus Power Coin kept switching between shiny and weathered?

Nope. Not at all. Oh and by the way, I just found out that the Red Dino Thunder Ranger was voiced by Dan Musgrove (James Navarro/Dino Charge Aqua Ranger) in this episode. And he was also the voice of Andros in "Making Bad". powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/Dan_MusgroveSo technically speaking, Jimmy Navarro was in the team-up episodes, but not as himself.

Here goes!
Hi Keeper.
Why is Devon over the top video game obsessed these past few eps?
Oh sh*t, Dino Charge needs help!
...what is this whole meteor plot i’m really confused.
This fight is filmed really well, like, this visually looks really cool.
Oh shite, the Beast Morpher’s morphers (...i hate you have to say it like that...) were destroyed?
So Devon gotta save everybody.
what is going on here...why was the power coin in the meteor? i’m...
oh boy here he comes
THE KING.
Is ASJ’s voice really this gravelly these days?
Jason sounding more like Goldar than Goldar.
I am absolutely in love with this forest location here. Like, it fittingly feels like Jurassic Park.
So...did they have to pull another “Hide the fact Eka’s in Samurai” stunt here with Camille cuz she’s like a real actress now?
I love the reference to Shelby making the Spino.
And the Reds are here!
It feels cheap how GB can just produce additional morphers. If that’s the case why don’t they just make 300 rangers? lol
Morph-X powered Dino Chargers tho. I like that, good way to mix the seasons together.
lol yes Jason send away the Beast Morphers.
So...is this really supposed to be Goldar or not?
It doesn’t make a lot of plot sense but Jason flipping the coin and having the MM and DT rangers leap in was...absolutely badass.
Sigh...an instamorph. But I guess we saw the DC morph last time and the MMPR was always pretty simple so...it’s all good I guess. At least they did the poses and calls first too.
This fight is going quick but still cool.
Ivan vs Roxy! Calling her “m’lady” 😂
Kira vs Snide! THE Z-REX BLASTER 🤩
At least the Kira voice actually kinda sounds like her...
I don’t care about Evox and the BMs lol.
I do like how they’re referring to the DC mode of zord making tho
Welp and they got spanked.
It’s be nice if Jason had a better fight scene...
HOLY F***ING SH*T THE COMBO BLASTER 😍🤩🙌👏
(This is probably old news to those of y’all that watch sentai lol)
“I thought Serpentera was bad but THAT HAS SIX HEADS.” lol that’s Jason’s best line so far 😂
I actually really like this...”zord” it looks like a real evil abomination that would require a big team like this.
the Megazords 😍😍😍
Does it look goofy to have cockpit footage from 2016, 2004 and 1993 blended together? Yes. Am I upset by it? Not at all. 😍
Oh yeah Devon’s still alive.
Well I guess that’s kinda a cool way to blend the seasons together.
Did they just...kill Evox?
The shot of everybody celebrating in their Megazords was so cool, really felt like they just won a war.
Why is this like...lowkey the ending of DiD again...
I swear Shelby’s had more lines than the actors who are actually there 😂
I like how it ended with the BMs leaving and focusing on the Dino Charge team instead lol.
So, there were def some problems. Jason didn’t have much characterization and I wish Dino Thunder had been incorporated better (but that’d require one of the aftors I guess so we’re kinda SOL there).
That said I enjoyed all the fight footage (and there was a LOT, which is what all the last teamups lacked sorely) and ASJ at least did well with what he was given. This was leagues better than Legendary Battle and Dimensions in Danger, and honestly better than Wormhole, Time for Lightspeed and Trakeena’s Revenge. It truly felt like an occasion that *required* a union of rangers, unlike the last several.
It was fun.

Enough time has passed since the airing of this crossover. The buildup was one of the few bright spots for Beast Morphers, and I enjoyed the 1st crossover episode they had with Dino Charge. But here is just where things take a nose dive IMO. First off, why does Devon think playing video games is more vital than a mission that may put the very fate of the world in jeopardy? When I heard news that Austin St. John would be returning, I was ecstatic. But then when I read some news regarding his reason for his comeback, with it being to fulfill an "obligation", it had me a bit concern. Episode happens and his acting just seems stilted or wooden like he was reading lines off a script without conveying any genuine emotion. Either that or it had something to do with the dubbing of his voice or the dialogue being clunky (a complaint I have with a lot of the modern PR seasons). Having the Dino Thunder team at the end is nice but the fact they were just thrown in there without having any significance in the story arc just feels so shallow. And seeing the Dino Charge team again is always a treat but even then it wasn't enough to salvage this. Slightly above Megaforce's Legendary Battle but this ranks pretty low on my list of favorite PR team ups as of the time of this post.

I'm pretty sure that anybody who has actually seen "Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters" might have noticed all the cuts and edits that were made in this episode. Like seriously, was it really that noticeable?! But yeah, the returning cast members of Dino Charge got screwed in this episode's final cut. Enough time has passed since the airing of this crossover. The buildup was one of the few bright spots for Beast Morphers, and I enjoyed the 1st crossover episode they had with Dino Charge. But here is just where things take a nose dive IMO. Yep, this is what happens when a production and the company chooses to adapt a really, really, really, REAAALY bad Sentai crossover movie into Power Rangers. Especially, with the way Nickelodeon had all these obligations and standard for the show to air on their network. Like, seriously. They only wanted to adapt the damn 3-dino rangers fight scene and that's it. Ain't that sad?! But, let's just pray and hope that if they ever do a Power Rangers crossover special with the cast of Dino Fury for Season Two on Netflix, next year. I think we ought to have all of our expectations set at VERY low bar on like everything. From the acting, to the writing, to the story, the interactions with the current team and a few selected actors from past seasons, and the tone and pretty much all the stakes being made in the crossover. Everybody should come in with very little expectations.
