JT quickly grabbed Jaxon's fingers and gave them a twist. "Good luck with that." She chuckled before letting his fingers go.
"Thou threaten me with a challenge?! I accept!" Jaxon said trying to act like a nobleman from the 1700s.

Rina looked at Kida as she spoke, nodding softly as she listened. "That would explain how excited you were to see me."

Kida nodded softly. "In the middle of the fight, we went S.W.A.T. Mode, facing down the horde. One of them got the drop on David, shooting him in the side. Rina went running to him, and...the leader shot again," she said softly. "She went down, and her suit sparked. She, um...she didn't make it. Maya, she went ballistic. She took out half of the horde herself before I finally got her to calm down. We took Rina back to SPD, and Commander Cruger escorted her back to Fuuto himself."
She sighed, wrapping her arms around herself. "When I saw you when we first arrived, I was so happy. I haven't seen Rina in over a year and the memory still hurts. When you didn't know me, I felt like I'd been stabbed in the chest."

"Boy, you were having food and didn't invite me? See how much I'm loved!' Mayumi said with a playful pout, folding her arms and sticking her tongue out at the Black Ranger. She grinned and kept teasing. "Geeze, thought I'd at least get a message or soemthing. Sparkly jerk."
"THE sparky jerk. Put some respect on my name." Aaron quipped. "It was a spur of the moment thing. I worked up an appetite after Princess over there kept trying and failing to land a clean shot."

"Only difference is age. By the time I get back I'll probably be 47. Almost 50. At least, now I can give you a run for your money before you put a hurting on me. Even though if I'm almost fifty, I'll still give you a hard time. And for Pete's sake, call me uncle. I'm not your grandpa. But he'll I'll spoil you like one. If your lucky." Jaxon stated as he smirked at JT.

"You'll actually be the same age by the time you get back to your point in the timeline. It would be the same for the rest of us. Now by the time you meet up with this version of me, you'll be closer to 50 and once you get there, you'll understand why I call you Gramps." She poked her tongue out at the Blue Ranger. "I can't say too much though. Can't alter the timeline too much." She smiled.

Kida shook her head. "It isn't your fault, sweetie," she said. "I'm just glad I get more time with a Rina, even if she's not the one I spent my whole life teasing." She smiled softly, hugging Rina. "And besides, when this is all over, I won't forget the fun we've had."
Mayumi watched the back and forth between JT and Jaxon, folding her arms. "Sparkles, are we sure they're not related?" she asked, looking at Aaron and Jameson.
"Starting to wonder that myself," Jameson said with a smirk. "They bicker like family."

"From what I remember them saying, his cousin and her dad fought together to take out a universal tier threat and their families have been tight ever since." Aaron quickly explained. "It's still funny to me though." Aaron chuckled while looking at the pair.

Kida nodded, smiling softly. "Come on. Let's go back in there and get everyone and go get some food. I'm freaking hungry," she said. "Kicking Ridenios ass again made me want some chicken."
Mayumi shook her head. "It's almost like listening to Davis all over again," she said with a grin.

Ridenio yelled as he got backhanded and knocked to the floor of the lair, landing on his broken wing. "Overseer--"
"You had a chance. Both of you have had your chance. We were so close this time but you had to fuck it up!" the Overseer yelled, stompng on Ridenio's chest. "I guess I'll have to summon those that are still alive to do their jobs properly." He walked over and ripped a wall open, showing Graecha and Urasa in stasis. "Time to fight again, my soldiers."

Kida walked into the Youth Center, pulling her earbuds out and tucking them into her pocket. In the few days since dealing with Dummy, Kida had seen a change in Rina, putting her more in line with how she'd been in the first few weeks of facing down the OVerseer, some semblence of weight off of her shoulder. She supposed that had to do with Maya being around, and if she was honest, Kida was thankful for someone else to help bring up Rina's moods.
She walked over to a table and sat down, watchign the kids karate class on the mat, the sounds of the arcade filtering through the music. No matter what happened, she always loved watching people, and today made no bones about showing it. "Hope the others show up quick."
Jameson teleported out of teh Command Center, landing behind the Youth Center before he jogged around front and walked in, seeing Kida at a bigger table. "Hey," he said, sitting odwn.
"Oh, hey," Kida said with a smile. "Didn't think you'd be the first to show."
"I was doing some calibration on a couple Souls," the Gold Ranger said. "I was working on CosmoRaptor. RaptShadow and RaptLight are finished, and PachyBoxer needed a tweak. Also, I've got something cooking up for you, but it's gonna take a while to finish."
"Oooooh.....Red Ranger special toys?" Kida asked with a grin.
"Exactly."

Not long after Kida and Jameson arrived, Aaron walked into the Youth Center. He saw the kids practicing karate on the mat and it reminded him of the academy kids back home. He looked around, only to end up finding the Red and Gold Rangers sitting at a nearby table, prompting him to walk over to join them.
"You two look like you're up to no good." Aaron took a seat, smiling at the pair.

Jaxon had walked into the youth center after coming from a morning jog to find Aaron, Kida, and Jameson all sitting at a table. "Sup guys? I was actually about to head to the command center to get some work done on the souls for you, Jameson." Jaxon stated as he pulled up a chair and sat down with the group.

"Is that so? Now you're starting to sound like me." Aaron joked with Kida. When Jaxon made his way over, he raised his head, silently greeting the Blue Ranger upon his arrival.
