After receiving their marching orders, Aaron couldn't help but smirk but not at the eventual matchup against Ridenio but because of Kida running after Rina and how it reminded him of a previous event. "Looks familiar." Aaron tilted his head slightly, looking in Mayumi's direction.
JT failed to catch the reference as she was more focused on frying Ridenio as she felt much better about getting her hands dirty on someone stronger than a Coronite. "I bet kicking these guys' asses will make Rina feel better." She said, looking at the souls.

"Not happening," Kida said, catching up to Rina. "You wouldn't leave me alone and I could have shot you. I won't let you be alone right now. You're the only Rina I have left to protect....please, let me do that."

Mayumi nodded, sighing softly. "I hope Rina's gonna be ok," she said. She looked at JT. "And yes, I know you're talking about Ridenio and this Dummy, but it isn't multiple people, JT. It's one person going through different faces." She pulled up a playback of the fight on the Viewing Globe. "Look. Each time she hit him, he changed form. From Skull to Joker to Cyclone. He knows what strings to pull to emotionally devastate her. Like this is more then an attack. It's personal and revenge."

“You don’t know anything!” Rina snapped, whirling around and facing Kida as tears stung her eyes. “You think you know what he would or wouldn’t say, but those exact words about wishing he never let me stay at the Agency and being a waste of space that would of never lead to a disaster were exactly what he said before he climbed into a cab and took the earliest flight back to Japan. Philip wasn’t even dead an hour and he left. I didn’t get a wedding reception. A father, daughter dance. Nothing. He fucking disowned me, Kida.”
She shook her head as tears slid down her cheeks. “I wasn’t allowed at Philip’s funeral. Cruger put a plaque up to try an honor him and give me a place to pay respects but it wasn’t enough. I wasn’t allowed to ever return home. Two weeks after we killed that fucker and ended Dragonstar, boxes started showing up at SPD. He packed up everything I ever owned. Every school project. Every report card and basically everything I ever colored, drew. Every photo album and even the picture he had of the two of us when I started Kindergarden on his desk. All of that was in those boxes, like I never exsisted. He blocked my number, changed the Agency land line. Any form of communication gone. Because I was too slow to save Philip. Please do put what you know about your Rina on me, because it is far from what you could ever know about me.” she finished, backing up before bringing up her wrist and teleporting out of the hall.

Kida felt like she'd been slapped when Rina whirled around and started yelling. Her heart broke more and more for hte Green Ranger as she listened to what happened. Kida bit her lip, watching Rina teleport out before she sighed. She tapped her communicator, locating Rina before shaking her head. "This is a bad idea," she said, teleporting out and coming up behind RIna at the apartment.
"You're right. I don't know anything about you. I don't know what my Rina would do in any of that situation....because I don't have a Rina. Not anymore. Not for five years."

"It's still guys." JT chuckled, referring to Ridenio and Dummy. "Regardless, someone needs to get punched in the face."
"Mayumi, that last sentence is the reason why the Rangers need to start fighting more as a unit." Aaron said. "This isn't the first nor second time that Overseer has attempted to use hateful tactics like this. The first time I chalked it up to him wanted to cut out our leader. The second time, I had blinders for reasons that are well documented. Now he's doing it again and assuming Rina wins, this won't be an instant recovery. She's still going to be fucked up from this for a while." Aaron sighed as he spoke from experience. "As a team comprised of six different veterans, we have the benefit of experience in the field but we lack the cohesion of teams that came up the ranks together. Once this is over, we need to do better with fighting together as one big unit instead of one or two big pieces and the rest being small pieces." Aaron finished saying to the others. "Otherwise, our luck is going to eventually run out."

Kida sighed softly, watching Rina head into the apartment. "You know I can't do that," she said softly. "Alright, fine. You leave me no choice. Emotional Distress Rocky Road incoming." She turned on her heel and walked out, shaking her head softly. "Guess I should just be grateful she's not trying to shoot me. Would be karma coming to smack me in the tits..." She tucked her hands in her pockets, making her way down the block before a noise caught her ear. She looked up to see a mechanical bird in the shadow of a tree and she smiled. "About time. Your partner really needs you right now...she could use a friend from her Earth. You know where she is." ______________________

Jameson nodded. "He's right. There's been too much of Kida taking on the big guns or giving it to someone else and everyone else stuck fighting Coronites. I'm even guilty of it the other day when I took on the Overseer. I'm going to suggest to Kida, and I can't believe i never thought of this until now, that we use the training simulator to redo previous battles and learn to work together."
"That is a good idea, Jameson. THe simulator will give you the experiance you all need in cohesion and allow you to cover anyone's weaknesses. Like pride or temper," Zordon said.
"Not to name names," Jameson said with a smirk.
"Jee, wonder who pride is," Mayumi said with a grin, shoving Aaron playfully. "Sure as hell ain't Pinky."

The mechanical bird chirped again before flying up the building and eantering through an open window in the apartment.
Rina hissed lightly as she cleaned the blood on her lip before moving to one on her neck. She took her torn shirt and threw it in the trash before grabbing a new shirt as she heard a noise, thinking it was the drapes as she grabbed an ice pack and held it against her eye. She saw movement out of the corner of her good eye and jumped, getting ready to throw the ice pack before her eyebrows shot up. “Maya...”
“You look like shit.” Maya said in a half joking tone, smiling lightly before sighing. “I know it’s been a while..”
“Three. Years.” Rina said softly, looking away as she placed the ice pack back on her eye.
“Right.” Maya said softly. She swallowed softly and sighed. “I just want you to know that after Onii-chan’s funeral, I didn’t come back because I was mostly trying to figure out what to do that he was gone. The library had never been this lonely. I wasn’t up to doing lookups for cases anymore. I was lost. I never blamed you.”
Rina pressed her lips together as they quivered. “Then why not get a hold of me? A call? A letter? Something. Anything.”
“Because none of that wouldn’t of been good enough if it wasn’t in person. Shotaro barely looked at me at the funeral. For whaever reason he wouldn’t, I know you can’t, even now because of the guilt that shouldn’t be there.” Maya said.

"No clue what you're talking about." Aaron grinned. "In all seriousness though, when I said what I said, it includes me. I was just as guilty when I had to give Ironmoon a proper lesson on shinobi skills. Yes, I'm great at what I do but as much as I hate to admit, Proto taught me first hand that the squad needs to all be on the same page if you want to win." Aaron said. "And you're right. Princess is less pride and all temper!" He quipped, earing the Pink Ranger's side eye.
"Hey!" JT's eyes widened as she playfully shoved the Black Ranger.

After Jaxon processed the rally speech that Kida had to dish out and then chase after Rina he started to chuckle. "Been in a spot similar to this before. Had to deal with a monster who was chameleon based except he did his homework and was able to transform into people form our past and present. That monster gave us a hell of a hard time. Hell, Carlos had it the worst. It was like he was fighting that monster Lizwizard all over again and making him relive what he had done to his pink ranger a long time ago. Overseer's trying to play psychological warfare. Just wish we could do the same to his ass." Jaxon stated.

Kida teleported back into the Command Center, seeing everyone else. "So...I think Rina's gonna be ok," she said.
"Why?" Jameson asked. "What happened?"
KIda smiled. "Her partner showed up."
"Partner?" Mayumi asked. "Thought she was married?"
"She was. Is. WHatever," Kida chuckled. "This is her partner in Kamen Rider W, Maya. Her best friend and the closest thing she has to a sister. If anyone can get through to her, it's Maya."
"Good. We're going to need her at full strength when Ridenio and Dummy show up again," Jameson said.

"Yeah, good luck trying that on someone that's lived millions of years," Jameson said, looking at Jaxon. "I wish we had a way to just nuke that bastard where he stands."
"Jameson's right. The second we start abandoning our tactics to try and beat him at his own game, we've already lost." Aaron responded. "To be honest, what he's doing tactically is smart as hell. If he wasn't trying to destroy our worlds, I might be impressed."
"It already sounds like you are." JT responded by lightly nudging Aaron in his side.
"I'm not but think about it. You set up shop in a world with no Power Rangers instead of setting up in a world that has numerous teams like any of ours and when you do face opposition, you attack their weaknesses to better your odds of winning instead of being reliant on simply overpowering us. Couple that with the fact that you're dealing with six separate pieces who still haven't fully learned to fight seamlessly as one unit and you have a recipe for victory."
Aaron's explanation was interrupted by Kida returning to the Command Center giving the team news about Rina. "What he said." JT agreed with Jameson's assessment regarding their Green comrade. "Both of them need their faces smashed in!"

Maya sighed softly as she stepped close to Rina, placing her hand on her arm. "I can't apologize for Shotaro's behavior and I know that Onii-chan is likely haunting him as we speak. But I can apologize for making you feel like I hated you."
"You felt lost. Don't say it's not a good enough excuse or call it an excuse." Rina said softly, brushing her hand against her cheek lightly. "Even though we've literally been of one mind and body as CycloneJokerXtreme, but it doesn't even compare to the bond you and Philip both shared with the library and Earth."
Maya nodded. She brushed her hair back softly before looking at Rina. "I guess there's just one more thing to say to solidify our friendship again." she said softly. She stood in front of Rina and took a deep breath, looking up at her. "From now until the end, Do you still have the courage to ride with the Devil?"
Rina looked at Maya, tears sliding down her cheek softly before she grabbed Maya and pulled her close, shaking as she tightened her arms. "I missed you..."
Maya smiled tearfully as she returned the hug, patting Rina's back. "I've missed you too." she said, backing up after a bit before furrowing her brows. "Now, let's make Ridenio wish he stayed dead along with the Dummy Dopant for tarnishing my brother's memory."
Rina nodded tossing the ice pack in the sink and drying her cheeks and eyes, her eyes narrowed. "Yeah." she said, standing by Maya and placing her hand on her arm before teleporting the both of them to the Command Center.

"It was just a thought. I'm like the rest of you guys. Just as it seems we are getting on a level playing field, that bastard splits more further apart. Making us fee like taking two steps forward then two steps back. If I wanted to learn how to cha-cha, I'd probably have taken classes." Jaxon stated before he saw Rina and to whom Jaxon assumed was Maya.
