Rina looked up at Kida and nodded softly, sighing. "Yeah. Being in my old suit, just brought back a lot of memories. And this morning when we lost our powers, just having my magnum just wasn't enough. It brought back that I'm alone and helpless without my powers, Ranger and Rider." she said softly, pulling the Joker Memory from under her pillow. "I don't even have the Lost Driver.."
Kida nodded softly, looking at the Joker Memory. She remembered all the times that she'd be at Rina's house and her father, Shotaro, would be there working on a case or having fun with them all, and she sighed softly. She put her hand on Rina's, accidentally pushing the button on the Memory. JOKER rang out, and she wrapped her arm around Rina in a hug. "It'll be ok," she said softly. "You're not helpless and you're not alone. And yes, I know how you mean, sweetie. As long as you keep thinking of yourself as half of Kamen Rider, you're never going to be alone. Maya may not be here physically, but she's here." She pointed to Rina's chest. "I know it hurts...and I wish I could do something to take the hurt away..."

When Mayumi's response to him was rather chilly, he remained silent for a moment before nodding. "I probably deserve that." He walked up to her and put her shuriken in her hands. "This belongs to you."
Mayumi looked at her NinShuriken, looking away. "Thanks," she said, opening the door and stepping in. "Anything else?"

Aaron walked closer to Mayumi, placing a hand on her shoulder as her back was turned to him.
"I'm sorry." The shining shinobi let out a deep sigh. "I know things have been weird and that's on me. I'm just trying to fix my mistake that put you in this current situation."

Aaron walked closer to Mayumi, placing a hand on her shoulder as her back was turned to him.
"I'm sorry." The shining shinobi let out a deep sigh. "I know things have been weird and that's on me. I'm just trying to fix my mistake that put you in this current situation."
Mayumi resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Isn't your fault. I didn't fight back hard enough when that bastard showed up in the hallway and kidnapped me," she said. "I didn't fight back. My fault. Not yours. My pathways will just have to stay fucked up until we get home and Lady Tsunade can look me over and do some miracle work. If it can't be fixed, then I'll find something else to do with my life. Just quit blaming yourself or I'll have to kick your ass."

Kida bit her lip. "I want to tell you something," she said, sitting on the edge of RIna's bed and patting hte space next to her. "Something that happened about a year ago. Something...kind of similiar to you and Maya, only it's reversed."

"I'll try." Aaron responded, promising to give his best efforts to not beat himself up over Mayumi's plight anymore, although he couldn't help but let out a chuckle after her supposed threat. "In the meantime, you can make your hands useful by fixing that hole you made in the wall with that shuriken when time permits. Us shinobi are more civilized than that." He smiled softly before putting his hands in his pockets and turning to leave.

Kida patted RIna's hand softly, getting ready to speak. Her morpher went off, and she sighed softy. "Yeah, Jameson?" she asked, shaking her head.
"Can you pop back to the Command Center a minute? I want to talk about something."
"FUck," Kida sighed. "Yeah. I"ll be there in a few seconds." She looked at Rina and bit her lip. "Rain check, I guess. You be ok?"

Mayumi nodded softly, putting her hand on the door and biting her lip. "Why did you just leave that day?" she asked softly, looking at Aaron before looking down. "After the party? I went to look for you and you were gone. I...I didn't understand why, and I guess I still don't. Even after all the shit with Ironmoon, I guess I'm still looking for an answer..."

Aaron took a second to speak before answering that question. "I had already planned to leave after the festivities but then as we were enjoying the day, I felt myself becoming overwhelmed with familiarity. I had all of these fond memories with fellow shinobi and other villagers and none of them were earned. Our interactions were familiar but with most of them, it was my first time meeting these people. I knew I had to leave because I needed to figure out just who in the hell I am." Aaron responded as he put his hands in his pockets.
"I'm sorry for leaving prematurely without giving you guys a heads up. Y'all didn't do anything wrong. I just needed to take care of me for a bit."

The Overseer knew what he was doing, sending everything at the Rangers all at once. Zordon was confident that he'd do it again, and he hoped that the Rangers would be strong enough next time to stop it early.

A few days after the endless battles with hte Overseers forces, the Rangers were all still recovering from the battle, some wounds taking longer to patch up. Mayumi had redoubled her efforts to help Jameson since she was completely depowered now, and she'd managed to make the last armor souls before had a chance to get to them.
Kida, meanwhile, worked on the heavy bag, slugging it and driving some kicks up into the sand filled pleather. She drove punch after punch into the bag, driving her knee up before stepping back and huffing. "Stupid...fucking bastard..." she growled, slamming her fist into the bag and knocking it off of the hook, sending it toppling to the floor and causing it to split. "Ah, fuck."

Rina sighed softly to herself as she walked through the park, her hands in her pocket. She closed her eyes as she felt the breeze in her hair, getting lost in thought at a simpler time back home. She was snapped out of her thoughts at the sounds of laughter carrying over at the picnic area, seeing a father chasing after his daughter before catching her and swinging her around playfully as the young girl squealed with laughter. She blinked softly before looking away as her heart started to clench, picking up her pace as she let her eyes hide under her bangs.

Jaxon was coming back from his run when he heard the commotion coming from the gym in the apartment. When he rushed in, He saw Kida and a downed Body Bag on the floor. "Some pent up aggression?" Jaxon asked before he went over to the body bag and placed it back on the hook.

After she shut the door, Aaron made a clicking noise with his mouth before turning to walk away. "Later." The Black Ranger retreated to his quarters and shut the door behind him, hoping that tomorrow would end up being better than today.

With the days that had passed since the battle against Overseer, Aaron felt his bumps and bruises slowly fade away but he still had to be cautious while training. Even though he spoke with Mayumi, he hadn't spoken to her much over the last few days but for different reasons. In this case, Mayumi was spending a lot of time in the Command Center with Jameson with the last of the armor souls. Currently, he was sitting atop of the roof of the apartments, getting in some fresh air while meditating and aligning his chakra. Once he completed his meditation, he stood up and walked to the edge of the roof only to find JT in the front of the apartments down below, stretching out before her daily run.
For JT, the benefits of being so young were definitely on full display with her rapid recovery after Overseer's onslaught of attacks. With her body feeling great, she was resuming her daily runs, wanting to make sure that her conditioning remained up to par. She walked outside of the apartment building and began to stretch as per usual. Once she was satisfied, she put her headphones off and began her run, allowing the music of her world to be the soundtrack of her run on this day.

Kida watched Jaxon put the split bag back on hook, and she sighed. "Even more now htat you put a split bag on the hook and got sand in my shoes," she said, stepping back and shaking the sand off, pulling her shoes off and dumping the small amount of sand out. "Just thinking, that's all. What I was thinking about pissed me off."

Mayumi had left the Command Center, walking around downtown. She spotted Rina and jogged over, smiling a bit. "Ohaiyo, Rina-chan."

Rina looked over when she heard someone jog over to her,mplacing her hairs in her jacket pocket. “Ohaiyo, Mayumi.” she said softly, rubbing her eyes softly.
