Power Rangers Dino Steel

Kida was definitely trying to hit the sore spots. Yes, the Pink Ranger did think that Red was her birthright and while she has worked to move past those feelings for the good of the team, she has never stopped believing that the mantle of Red Ranger is her destiny. "You wanna rumble that bad, Bitch!?" JT drew her Steel Edge Saber, pointing it at the current Red Ranger. "Now I have a reason to knock your ass out!"

"Stop." The Pink Ranger took a quick step forward but Aaron's voice stopped her from advancing any further.

"Stop!? You heard what she said about me! About you! About all of us! And you expect me to just sit by and let that shit go!?" JT yelled, visibly triggered by Kida's words.

"That's exactly what I expect, Princess." The Black Ranger drew his saber, opting for his traditional reverse grip. "One, that isn't her in there. That is whatever Overseer made her to be. Two, going in like a damn hothead only ensures you're going to make a mistake and we don't have the luxury to go down because a second Ranger got sloppy after they couldn't control their emotions."

The Pink Ranger started to huff and puff before eventually calming down once she processed what Aaron told her. "Okay. So what's the play then?"

Rina took her sword out and held it up, taking a deep breath before walking forward. “I’ve got her. Handle the monster.” she said, charging towards Kida as she pulled Trigger Magnum out and got a few hits in on her shoulders.

"Great job talking to her." Aaron spoke with a slight hint of sarcasm after seeing the original plan of trying to talk Kida down first got blown up with one simple monologue. "Okay guys. Let's take this thing out!"

Kida staggered back from the shots, lashing out and slashing at Rina. "You can't win. None of you can," she said. She snapped her fingers, the four summoned Riders turning to rush the other three Rangers. Kida leapt backward, grabbing her Driver and firing at Rina, hitting the Green Ranger's shoulder.

Accel leapt forward, slamming his fist into Jaxon's helmet and knocking hte Blue Ranger backward. He swung out with the EngineBlade, intending on cutting his head off. ENGINE ELECTRIC rang out, the blade charging with electricity as Accel swung it again, connecting with Jaxon's shoulder.

Brave took off for Aaron, swinging his Gashacon Sword at the Pink Ranger. He pressed the giant "A" button the blade, coating hte sword in fire as he swung, searing the air.

Gills swung out at Aaron with the blades on his wrist, intending on impaling the Black Ranger. He roared as he leapt forward, slamming into Aaron and knocking him backward, putting him in Cross-Z's path. The Dragon themed Rider swung out with his Beat Closer sword, hitting Aaron in the chest, kicking the shinobi in the face.

Graecha growled as it held it's hands out, poison mist coming from his hands and spreading over the ground. He directed it at the Rangers, an inhumane clicking coming from it's mouth.

Brave took off for JT, swinging his Gashacon Sword at the Pink Ranger. He pressed the giant "A" button the blade, coating hte sword in fire as he swung, searing the air.

"Now she sends second rate Kamen Riders!? Disrespectful!" The Pink Ranger charged forward, clashing head on with Brave using her Steel Edge Saber. Once Brave enabled the flame capabilities on his Gashacon, she flew backwards, rolling onto her butt. "Flames again!? This is one time where my Spin Sword would come in handy!" She said while getting back to her feet.

Gills swung out at Aaron with the blades on his wrist, intending on impaling the Black Ranger. He roared as he leapt forward, slamming into Aaron and knocking him backward, putting him in Cross-Z's path. "Sorry Buggy! You have to do better than that!" The Black Ranger was able to dodge the blades on Gills' wrist but could not avoid the followed up slam which ended up sending him right into Cross Z who punished him with a combination of his own. The Black Ranger groaned as he got to his feet, rubbing his chest. "Okay Toothless, that was adequate. How about teach you two a lesson in... GUYS, LOOK OUT!" The Black Ranger saw the poison mist on the ground at the last second and jumped on top of the closest car he could find.

Brave tapped the other button, the giant "B", spinning the blade of the sword around and changing from fire to ice as he rushed JT again through the creeping mist. He swung out and caught her Steel Edge Saber, slamming his fist into her stomach.

"Ugh!" The Pink Ranger doubled over after getting drilled in the gut. She was dropping to her knees and heard Aaron call out to the others. After seeing the mist, she jumped up, landing atop the covering for a bus stop which caused her to wince thanks to the sharp movement that aggravated an already sore abdomen. "Jameson! Tell us you have something for that Mist!?"

Gills roared as he leapt up, tackling Aaron into the windshield of the car. THe mist wasn't bothering the summoned Riders, and he quickly wrapped his hands around Aaron's throat, the claws on his arms growing and inching closer to the Black Ranger's helmet.

The Black Ranger was gasping for air and underneath his helmet, his eyes grew wide at the sight of the growing claws. Struggling to breathe, Aaron used his saber to slash Gills' arms, just narrowly missing his wrists before using a strong kick to knock him away, buying himself precious moments as he was racing to simply catch his breath.

Accel leapt forward, slamming his fist into Jaxon's helmet and knocking hte Blue Ranger backward. He swung out with the EngineBlade, intending on cutting his head off. ENGINE ELECTRIC rang out, the blade charging with electricity as Accel swung it again, connecting with Jaxon's shoulder.

Jaxon rolled away after the two attacks and got back to an even footing and took a look at the situation. "So that's how we gonna play? Alright. Let's dance." Jaxon stated as he and Accel clashed blades until Jaxon saw an opening and sidestepped Accel and slashed him right in the torso.

Rina narrowed her eyes at the woman who walked up to Kida, her eyes widened under her helmet before she tried to run towards her. “Kida, don’. It’s Amaranth!”

Before the Black Ranger could attack again, he saw this woman arrive who was manipulating Kida and the source of this fuckery. "Kida! Get away from her!" Aaron cried out. "She's screwing with your head!"

Kida looked at Rina and Aaron, holding out the DiEnd Driver before firing at the ground and creating a smoke cloud, allowing herself, Amaranth, and Graecha to disappear into the dimensional wall.

The trio arrived back in the Overseer's lair, Amaranth putting her hands on Kida's shoulders with a smile. "Well done, darling. With them trying to get into your head, you did just the same for them. After this, they'll have no choice but to put you down."

Kida removed her SOul from her Morpher, powering down and nodding softly. "If they can. They'll be lucky to get a strike in," she said softly. "Especially Rina. She thinks she's so high and mighty."

Ridenio looked over and smirked, walking over. "So, you've got the Red Ranger under your spell, Amaranth? How'd you pull that off?" he asked.

"Manipulating a sorrowed mind is easy when it's wracked with guilt and grief, Ridenio," Amaranth said, sitting beside Kida and putting her hand on the other woman's back. "She's almost fully under my sway. A few more hours and the spell will be permanent. And then we'll have our own Ranger to play with."

"Well done, Amaranth," the Overseer said, walking forward. "Perhaps you're not as incompetant as your companion."

Kida was silent, looking between the three villains, a single tear falling down her cheek at her situation. Between a broken heart from losing her family, her sister's death weighing on her conscious, and the cruel things she said to her friends--even if some part of her knew it was how she truly felt under the smiles--she was broken in more ways then one, and it hurt her deeply. A slim part of her, the one that wished to end everything, hoped when she killed her friends, Amaranth would be kind enough to kill her and put her suffering to an end.

Jameson, having watched the fight, sighed as he ran his hand in his hair as he tapped a button on the console. "YOu guys come back to the Command Center. I'll see if I can't whip something up that'll help agaisnt Graecha. Maybe we can get lucky and find something to help Kida, too."

Mayumi, having been watching everything unfold, was looking at the list of SOuls that Jameson was working on and had completed. "Jameson. I might have a Soul that'll help clear up the Mist from Graecha."

"What?" Jameson asked, walking over. He looked at the list and saw where Mayumi was pointing. "UtahTwist. Of course. High speed spinning like a massive fan to clear anything away. I forgot that one was done." He patted the White Rangers shoulder and smiled. "Good work figuring that out, Mayumi. I wouldn't have even thought about it."
