Power Rangers Dino Steel

Alpha nodded, leading the Rangers to the computers. "This is a dire situation, Rangers. You five have been brought to this Earth, one so far untouched by evil. The Multiverse is collapsing, and the only ones that can stop it are the five of you."

"ANd how in the hell do you suggest we do that?" Kida asked. "Not like we can just snap our fingers."

"No, but there is someone that can help you," Alpha said. "Zordon."

The five Rangers watched as Zordon appeared in his energy tube. "Welcome, Rangers. I wish our meeting were under better circumstances, but we have little time. As you know, the Multiverse is being wiped out, and it's due to the man you faced just now, the Overseer," the old Eltarian said. "He was locked away almost thirty-three million years ago by the Morphin' Masters, teh beings who gave up their physical forms to become the Morphing Grid. Unfortuantely, they tied their essance to his prison. As he grew stronger, the Grid started to suffer. Wiping out Earths in different dimensions was the faster way to break free and gain traction. ANd now....he is loose."

"Yeah, and how do we figure into this?" Rina asked. "How do we stop him, Ridenio, and taht butterfly bitch when our powers are fritzed?"

"You will become Rangers of this Dimension, Ms. Hidari," Zordon said. "When I first came to this planet, an ally of mine named Keeper helped me to gather information on the living beasts of the planet at the time. The ones you call Dinosaurs. We harnessed their powers, crafting Power Rangers out of their likenesses." A dull glow filled the room, five wrist mounted morphers appearing in front of hte five Rangers. "Take these. As well as these Dino Souls." Five more flashes of light filled the room, five Dino Souls appearing in front of Kida, Aaron, Jaxon, JT, and Rina.

"There is a sixth Ranger to your team, but he is combating an enemy in Eastern Europe at the moment and will join when he can." The Eltarian looked down at the Rangers. "To combat an enemy, you must be united. Your old Powers will not work on this Earth due to the Morphing Grid being unable to hold all five of your original powers at once. Taking the DIno Souls will allow you to transform into the Dino Steel Power Rangers," Zordon said. "You know the laws of being a Ranger. I sincerely hope you are all ready for this, Rangers."

Kida took the Morpher and put it on her wrist, looking at it. "So...this Dino asthetic's gonna be a recurring thing?" she asked, taking the Red Dino Soul and seeing a button on the side. She pushed it and it sprung open to reveal a small armored figure. "Whoa. That's cool. So I'm Red Ranger? That's a massive step up from Yellow."

Rina rolled her eyes at Kida, putting the morper on her own wrist. "Green. I can work with this."

"Whoa, hold on wait a minute here..." Jaxon said as he pulled the blue dino soul that appeared in front of him after taking off his beast rush morpher and replacing it with the Dino Steel morpher. "Blue? And she gets Red? The hell? I get punished for evaluating a situation and I get demoted? That blows. But, I guess its fate." Jaxon stated as he pressed the button and the figure transformed.

Aaron did his best to hold in his laughter after seeing JT and Jaxon both go from Red to Pink and Blue respectively and how both were visibly in their feelings. He looked at the viewing globe, seeing how to use their new morphers for the first time.

"That actually looks cool. It's definitely a big change going from ninjas to the raw power of the dinos but it's nothing I can't handle." Aaron folded his arms, nodding in approval.

On the inside, JT took it as this grid showing her that she isn't as worthy of the color as she thought she was after what happened with her team just before she left. For now, she had to push that to the side and focus on the mission.

"So what comes next?" JT asked the legendary sage. "I doubt this Overseer is going to afford us the time for the advanced tutorial."

Zordon chuckled and nodded. "Precisely, Ms. Frost." As if on cue, the alarms started going off, Alpha tapping the consoles and bringing up the city in the Viewing Globe again. "Behold!"

Rina and Kida turned back to the giant glass ball, seeing the Coronites attacking civilians and being led by a monster. "Kiva?" Rina asked, her eyes wide. "What?"

"I don't think it's Kari, sweets," Kida said. "Too ugly."

"Reminds me of a guy my uncle fought against but this guy is hurting my eyes!" JT looked on, wincing at the mere appearance of this monster.

"It doesn't matter who he is." Aaron looked at the globe, seeing just who they had to deal with. "He'll still go boom just like the rest."

Kida looked at the Dino Soul in her hand and nodded. "Is there a way to get back to the city quick?"

"Just like this," Alpha said, going to a console. "I'll have teleport devices ready when you're back after the battle."

"Good luck, Rangers, and may the Power protect you," Zordon said.

"Let's do it, Alpha," Kida said, looking at her new team. "Let's give this knockoff of a friend a thourough asskicking."

As Alpha teleported the Rangers back to the city, Kida and Rina geared themselves up for the fight. When they landed, the new Red Ranger looked around, hearing screams and explosions.

"C'mon!" she said, taking off in the direction of the noise. "God, let me be able to lead these Rangers. Never been a leader before, so that's going to be the big challenge. THree of these people I don't know, but one I do and she doesn't know me...I think that hurts more then losing my wife and daughters." she thought, her hand clenched around her Soul.

As Jaxon materialized with the other rangers near the disturbance, he began to laugh. "Oh, how I missed that. Very efficient and speedy." Jaxon chuckled as Jaxon ran alongside to the threat with his new teammates.
