"Because I am a mom, doofus. Remember?" Kida asked with a smile. "Come on, ladies. Let's go find out what Jameson wants before he blows a gasket."
Rina snickered and nodded. "Sounds good. Let's head out."
"Still doesn't mean you have to sound like one all the time." JT laughed. "But yeah, I guess we've kept him waiting long enough."

Mayumi laughed and nodded, dropping down onto the roof of the apartments. "Yeah, he'd never let you live it down," she said. "And by the way, it's aggravating calling you Aaron again."
After dropping down onto the roof of the apartments, Aaron smiled when he heard Mayumi complain about his choice of names. "Dually noted." He responded quickly. "Aaron was what came natural when I introduced myself to these other Rangers but at the end of the day, greatness has more than one name so I won't lose any sleep if you call me Kane."

Kida rolled her eyes playfully. "I wouldn't have to if the youngest member of my team wasn't a child," she said, sticking her tongue out at JT and walking out with the two girls. "You know I love ya, JT. I'm only teasing cause I care."

Rolling her eyes at the greatness comment, Mayumi shoved the Black Ranger. "One of these days, Kane, I'm going to stand there watching as you get your greatness kicked up between your ears. You still keep it somewhere around your nuts, right?" she asked with a smirk, heading for the door.

"I'm sure you would love to know." Aaron quipped as they were nearing the door. "Sorry to disappoint you but we can only be friends. Try not to be too sad." The Black Ranger joked, relishing this brief moment of normalcy he's experienced since relocating to this new world.

"Oh, don't you fucking dare," Jameson laughed, shaking his head. "Don't even think about it, Jaxon." He walked out of the auditorium with the Blue Ranger, heading for a secluded spot. "We'll just teleport to the apartment."
"What?! Not like your gonna be pulling rabbits out your rear end. That would be funny as hell! Wait....What if it wasn't rabbits and it was weapons?! That would be EPIC! Picture it! You get booked into a "No Holds Barred" match and everything is legal. Before your opponent can get a weapon, you pull one magically from behind your back!" Jaxon stated.

"Ah! Old? Oh, I'll show you old," Kida said, laughing as she wrapped her arm around JT's shoulders. "This old woman can kick your ass, teeny bopper."
Rina rolled her eyes, kicking Kida in the ass and smirking. "Calm your ass, woman," she said. "Jesus, she's playing."
"So am I!" Kida laughed, looking at Rina and sticking her tongue out as they stopped around the corner. "Come on. Let's head back."

"Now I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear that you had such dirty thoughts involving my temple of purity but can continue to fantasize about the other, less handsome one." Aaron laughed as they neared the entrance.

He said, nudging her back, joking with her. "Now I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear that you had such dirty thoughts involving my temple of purity but can continue to fantasize about the other, less handsome one." Aaron laughed as they neared the entrance.
Mayumi snickered and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that," she said, sticking her tongue out. She opened the door and let Aaron in first, following and shutting it behind her. She looked over as she heard Jaxon and Jameson teleporting in, and she smiled. 'Hey, boys."
"Mayumi," Jameson said with a smile.
"What are we doing?" the former White Ranger asked.
"Waiting for the girls," Jameson said. "That way I only explain once instead of twice or more."

"Explain what?" JT and the other girls made it back to the apartments with the younger Ranger letting the others walk in ahead of her. She caught the tail end of what Jameson was saying and was trying to fill in the blanks.
"He was about to explain until you crashed the party, Princess."
"Hello to you too." JT shot a glare in the Black Ranger's direction before turning back to Jameson, waiting to hear what he was going to say.

"Zordon gave us the night off," Jameson said. "He wants me to take you guys to a spot called the Oasis of the Nexus, a spot out in the desert that lets us see into other realities, find some that aren't broken or destroyed. Give--"
"Give us a sense of what we're fighting for," Kida said, her hands clenching. "See what we'er made of and if we're still willing to continue when we're done seeing what's already been lost."

"Sure. I have nothing else planned for the evening." Aaron folded his arms and responded in a nonchalant manner. For the Black Ranger, he was no stranger to the multiverse thanks to the reveal from Proto and Orochimaru a few short months ago. He believed that added motivation wasn't necessary for him as this was a group of veteran rangers who knew what it meant to don the spandex. Aaron could probably think of other things to do but didn't want to be nagged for not being a team player, so he opted to go with the flow.

"We already know what we're fighting for." JT spoke up. "And I don't think anyone here is a quitter.... but it would be cool to see the multiverse up close versus hearing stories from my dad or Mr. Eubulon." For the young ranger, she heard the stories growing up with her dad's team fighting rangers from across the multiverse and she was admittedly fascinated with the idea that there are other worlds out there that are both similar and different to her world.

"I've done alternate dimensions, but never really anything in the Multiverse to this scale," Kida said. "Traveling between realities with Megumi and her family for a summer really made things weird....but I'm in. Can't hurt to see what other Ranger teams are out there still fighting."
Rina nodded. "I'm in. It's going to be different but that's a good thing. Variety of life."

Since the Rangers had all seemed to agree to going on the trip, Aaron opted to walk away, heading to his quarters to pack a bag for this journey out to the desert. Seeing as though everyone was in agreement, he didn't see much sense in just standing around, waiting to be dismissed and instead, started towards his living quarters.
"He seems excited." JT spoke before leaving for her quarters, visibly more energetic about the trip. Going camping was one thing but the added element of the desert and the multiverse would surely make this a camping experience the likes of which she hasn't experienced before.

Rina and Kida went to their own rooms, Mayumi following Aaron. "You don't seem too enthused about this," she said, leaning against the wall. "I know we're used to multiverse bullshit, but this could be fun."
Kida sighed, packing some things and heading for the main room. She didn't really know what to expect, but she knew looking into the multiverse was going to be interesting. Maybe she'd find a glimpse of her wife or daughters. She had to hope.
Rina returned a minute later, putting her hand on Kida's shoulder. "You ok?"
"Hoping. But knowing it's probably not worth my time," the Red Ranger said with a small smile.
Jameson sighed, shaking his head softly as he headed for his own room. "We're leaving in ten minutes, guys! Hurry back to the front when you're ready!" he called out.
