Power Rangers Dino Steel

JT laughed a bit when hearing what happened when Kida tried to use her Driver to cross dimensions. "I guess that was a sign." She said as her laughter faded but her smile remained. "Looks like this is whatever brought us here's way of saying to focus on what we need to do here otherwise we won't have homes to go back to."

While Mayumi's excitement over ramen was a sight to see, Aaron's expression did change slightly with JT's last sentence. After the final battle against Proto, he was seeking out a home to call his own before he got sucked into this dimension, so even if and when they beat this Overseer, there are still issues that he needed to sort out.

Kida nodded, looking at the ring on her hand. "Yeah. I hope that when we put the Overseer in the ground for good, the worlds restore. I don't think we could take that kind of a loss."

Mayumi looked over, putting her hand on Aaron's arm. She knew the Black Ranger's worries, and she even had her own concerns about getting home to see her older brother again. She hoped that things would work themselves out, even if it meant having to fight without her powers or the rest of her friends.

"C'mon," Jameson said. "Let's get the hell out of here and get some dinner, a couple drinks, and we'll figure out the rest of the week tomorrow."

As the Rangers teleported out with Mayumi and Jameson, Zordon knew something much bigger and much deadlier was coming soon. He sighed, looking down at the Command Center from his time warp tube.

"Zordon?" Alpha asked.

"Nothing, Alpha. NOthing to be concerned with now. Let the Rangers have their fun tonight because soon things are going to get more and more complicated for them....and I hope to the Masters that they will survive the encounter."

It had been a few days since facing down Ennar and Urasa, and the Rangers were still reveling in their victory over the loudmouthed sibling. Jameson had been working on more Souls, completeing the UtahTwist, MapuShrink, ArcheSteel, and DeinoBlinder Souls, testing them out and reworking some that he needed to, like the DimeFlame, PachyPuncher, and RaptShadow Armor Souls. He kept the completed Souls in the box with the others, knowing they'd need to be charged in case of another attack.

"Alright....that should work for today," the former Red Ranger said, rubbing his head and yawning.

"Jameson."

"Yeah, Zordon?"

"Take the Rangers camping tonight. There is an Oasis in the desert, it will allow you to experiance moments from across the Multiverse, giving them all an insight as to why they should keep fighting. It would be good for all of them, especially Ms. Frost to learn what lies in wait for them."

"Umm....yeah, ok," Jameson said. "I'll get everyone, even Mayumi. Wouldn't feel right leaving her out."

Zordon chuckled. "No, I suppose it would not. Good luck, Jameson."

Jameson nodded, sending a message to the Rangers to meet up at the apartments quick as they could.

Kida sighed as she sat at the Youth Center with Rina, watching the martial arts class that was going on in the gym area. She took a drink of her smoothie, smiling a bit. "It's strange," she said, looking over at the Green Ranger.

Mayumi, meanwhile, jumped from rooftop to rooftop, thankful her speed hadn't decreased in the new World she found herself in. She looked over Angel Grove, shaking her head and jumping down to ground level, tucking her hands in her pockets. "So different from the Leaf Village," she said. Her hand wrapped around her NinShuriken, looking at the White Ranger emblem on it. "Fuck...I dind't think I'd miss the quiet life so much. This city's too busy. Let's hope we can find a way home...."

"Looks like you had the same idea I did." Aaron liked to get a lay of the land. While he was accustomed to the hustle and bustle of an American city, he felt more at home in the village given everything that happened to him just a few months ago. During his morning venture, he found Mayumi jumping on other rooftops and eventually migrated in her direction before eventually catching up with her.

JT was running as it cleared her head and kept her focus when things were confusing. As she was listening to music on her phone, he scrolled through photos on her phone, seeing pictures of her and parents during the happiest of times along with pictures of her and her Uncle Memphis and Aunt Rachel or her other family members in cousin Carter, cousin Dana, or cousin Ryan. She even got a kick out of an old flashback photo of her mom chasing Uncle Finley for sneaking her a beer when she was a kid. Being here for these few weeks made her appreciate just how good she had it back home being born into Ranger royalty and it motivated her to get back to her timeline as soon as possible.

"I should see how the others are doing." JT looked up when she felt someone's presence nearby. She saw someone hopping from rooftop to rooftop and unless there's a dimension where Peter Parker's a real guy, she figured it had to have been Mayumi and Aaron, the latter of which seemed to be more at ease and slightly less broody than normal. A loud honk interrupted her staring into the sky as she didn't realize that she stopped in the middle of a crosswalk and a car was trying to pass.

"Sorry!" She waved sheepishly before continuing on her run. "Come on, JT. Snap out of it." She said to herself, opting to divert her attention elsewhere while continuing her run.

Mayumi looked over and smield a bit. "Hey," she said. "I just got restless. The noise bothers me. I'm used to the quiet of the village. This bustle drives my senses into overload. This is the kind of place Guy-sensei would love. It's loud and boisterous just like he is." She sighed, pulling her hair back and tying it up. "I don't think JT likes me."

"You're right about that. I can only imagine if he was here." Aaron went into a questionable Guy impersonation. "I can feel the power of youth exploding in this strange land!" The transition to JT did throw him off a bit, causing him to stop and raise an eyebrow.

Mayumi shook her head. "No, she didn't say anything," she said. "I just...she keeps giving me these looks, like she's sizing me up. I didn't do anything to her, and I don't want to think that something bad's going to happen. I don't want to start any trouble, Aaron. I really don't...I just want to be able to go home..." She sighed and wrapped her arms around herself, biting her lip. "Like that first night. I was with Kida and Rina and JT, and I was staying back so I didn't feel like I was getting in the way. Kida and Rina did the best they could to make me feel included, but I kept getting sideyed by JT. I don't want to confront her and start anything. Maybe I'm just being stupid...wouldn't be the first time, right?"

Rina nodded, watching the kids, snickering. “When I was younger, papa had me signed up for self defense classes with Terui. He’d mostly just sic me on the new recruits.” she said, taking a drink from her smoothie. “Everything else was mostly on the job until I got into SPD.”

Kida nodded. "My Earth, Rina knew how to fight thanks to her dad and stepmom. Kari and Shotaro taught her everything, from battle strat to technique to even quick henshins. Shotaro was like the dad I wanted....he was always so cool."

Rina smiled and nodded, poking her smoothie with the straw to loosen it up. “Yeah. Papa did the best he could as a single teenage parent. His father wasn’t very kind but he had Oyaa-san to look up to and that helped him the most.” she said, looking over as JT walked up to them, smiling. “Yeah. We’re just watching the class over there and getting to know each other better.”

"It definitely wouldn't be the first time." Aaron smirked, agreeing when he probably shouldn't have. "In all seriousness, I don't think she has any problem with you personally." He began to explain. "The quick rundown on what I've been able to gather so far is that she is a bit bratty because she was born into this family of Rangers, all of which are publicly known and if I remember right, her dad led a team with Jaxon's cousin to save the multiverse. Long story short, she's probably used to having so much attention thrust upon her as this Ranger prodigy and now that she's in a world that doesn't revolve around her, it's been a bit of an adjustment period." Aaron sat down on a nearby AC unit. "So if she's acting a bit funny, it's probably her trying to cope with everything going on. She gets along pretty well with Kida now so I'm sure she'll come around with you."

"A Ranger with a chip on her shoulder? Gee, what a novel concept," Mayumi said, nudging Aaron and grinning. "I hope you're right. I don't want to cause any trouble. Though I'll admit, seeing Kida leading everyone, she's good in Red. Surprised it wasn't you or the dude in Blue."

JT's run brought her to the Youth Center where she looked towards the counter for a smoothie, but eventually finding Kida and Rina sitting together.

"Hey there, ladies." JT spoke with a warm greeting and a smile. "Room for one more?"

Rina smiled and nodded, poking her smoothie with the straw to loosen it up. “Yeah. Papa did the best he could as a single teenage parent. His father wasn’t very kind but he had Oyaa-san to look up to and that helped him the most.” she said, looking over as JT walked up to them, smiling. “Yeah. We’re just watching the class over there and getting to know each other better.”

Kida looked up and grinned. "Hey, JT. Yeah, always got rooom for more amigos," she said. "We're just figuring out the differences between my world and Rina's." She looked down at their phones went off, seeing a message from Jameson. "Huh. Jameson wants us all at the apartments quick as possible. Odd. Eh, we'll wait a bit. I'm having fun watching the kids learning."

Jaxon was training at the Angel Grove Auditorium. It felt good to focus on the one thing that reminded him of his home: Wrestling. As Jaxon trained, he thought about what may lay ahead for he and the other rangers however, with Ennar gone, it was one less threat to worry about.

Having a good idea where Jaxon was, Jameson headed to the Auditorium, following the sounds of wrestling again. He chuckled, spotting the Blue Ranger and making his way over. "Y'know, maybe instead of doing the Ranger thing, get your ass into WWE. Pretty sure you could put Lesner down," he said, folding his arms with a grin. "Or at least one of the Women's Division."

Jaxon stopped when he heard Jameson and the comments. "It's been on the mind but, WWE has to scout you first or unless your like one of the big names that they already have in mind to sign up. Before this whole thing happened I was actually told that they had interest in me. As far as Lesnar goes? He's big and intimidating for sure, but his ring rust is so bad....He just needs to stay gone. Now the Womens Division? Oh there's a few I'd like to get in a leg lock if you catch my drift." Jaxon stated as he jumped over the ropes and down to the floor.
