Rina crossed her arms over her chest, listening to Jameson and giving a nod of agreement. It wasn’t like she was completely innocent of going against an order, but in her defense it was to uphold an order she had been given to make sure her David didn’t get killed. She was lucky to get off with a week of Zord duty, but this was different. “We can’t afford to go off the cuff. Ridenio seems to think we won’t be able to go back to our home worlds and tried to use it to bait me.”

Mayumi nodded, looking over and seeing Rina chewing Jaxon out. "She's terrifying. I like her," she said with a grin.
"I bet you would." Aaron gave Mayumi a bit of a side eye. "She's usually pretty chill. Reminds me a bit of Kumiko." Aaron's attention shifted back to Jameson who ripped Jaxon a new asshole over the stunt he pulled today. Although there was no defense for it, the reaction did seem a bit harsh, leading him to think that there may have been something extra that fueled his verbal berating but now wasn't the time to voice those concerns. "Yeah... definitely not Ibiki." He mumbled to himself.
JT immediately took notice of the pretty woman next to Aaron and how he seemed so at ease but her attention was immediately drawn back to Jameson who laid into Jaxon fiercely. The last time she saw someone get ripped up like that was when her Mom yelled at her Dad after he almost missed an anniversary dinner because he wanted to join in on a field mission with some other Rangers who probably could have handled things without him. "Shit!" She mumbled while looking at Kida.

"I didn't tell you to move, Jaxon," Jameson said, not moving from in front of the Viewing Globe as he crossed his arms. "You screwed up, and we do this in front of everyone so everybody knows not to do this again," he said. "Alpha said I tested the Soul, yeah, but I hadn't told him that it wasn't completely ready. I'm using my Magic to bind these powers together with the fossils I'm carving for the Souls. I have to rest my powers up to eight hours between bonding sessions. I tested it but it blew up on me, and I had to reset my work." He sighed, running his hand in his hair. "From now on, nobody takes Souls until I tell them. I hand them out at Zordon's discresion, and if anyone takes them without authorization, I will probably remove morphers until they're needed. There is no discussion, there is no argument. This is the fucking rule from now on. I'm pulling rank. Give me the MicroSpeeder Soul." He held his hand out for Jaxon, cocking an eyebrow. "Now. Until you can realize that you are not Red Ranger anymore, Jaxon, and that you can't be pulling boneheaded stunts like this without getting yourself or someone else injured or worse, I will not need your help putting Souls together."
Jaxon sat there and just listened to what Jameson had to say and then after the lethal beratement Jaxon piped up. "Oh, so this is about me still thinking that I'm so self absorbed about not being red? Cool. Again, I took the Soul because I was told it was ready. You never discussed what goes on behind the scenes on how they become souls. You only told us that you test them with the sabers. So thanks for holding out on that information so how was I supposed to know other than what Alpha flipping told me? But yeah just go ahead and put all the blame on me. I was told it was ready and it was tested. So what you may call a boneheaded stunt and flying off the cuff on my part really could have been prevented if you would have said. "Yes I tested it, but something happened and I need to fix it" And I wouldn't have taken it. So the only reason your doing this and making an example out of me is because of what you neglected to say but that's fine and since your pulling rank take this too." Jaxon stated as he unstrapped the morpher that was attached to his wrists and put both the morpher, soul, and comunicator in Jameson's hand. "Consider this putting me on the bench." Jaxon stated as he walked away from Jameson and the rest of the rangers and out of the Command Center.

Jaxon stated as he unstrapped the morpher that was attached to his wrists and put both the morpher, soul, and comunicator in Jameson's hand. "Consider this putting me on the bench." Jaxon stated as he walked away from Jameson and the rest of the rangers and out of the Command Center.
"Jaxon!" Kida said, watching him walk away. she turned to Jameson, narrowing her eyes. "What the hell, dude?! That was way too fucking harsh!"
Jameson sighed, setting the gear on the counter. "He made his choice."
"THat's not good enough!" Kida said, slamming her hands into Jameson's chest and knocking him backward. "What the hell crawled up your ass?!"
The former Red Ranger looked away. "When I was still fighting Amaranth, our Green Ranger got injured. Harrison, dude was my brother in everything but blood. He took Yelena's book to try and learn up on our legacy as Mages and the history we were upholding, but he found a spell that was meant as a team heal. Well, he used it on himself and came out when we were facing down Scimi and Dahlia, Scimi being the bug that wounded him. When he used the spell, it blocked his magic in his bloodstream, making it impossible for him to morph. We held off Scimi while Dahlia unblocked and fixed him, sacrificing her place in Amaranth's court for helping him," he said. He sighed, leaning against the counter.
"Jaxon reminds me of Harrison and Yuuga put together. Gung-ho, rush in and get it done, don't think before you leap. He's their worst qualities in one man. I was harsh, but I have to be. I won't let you guys get hurt if I can avoid it, and just assuming something being ready means usable isn't going ot work."
"Then maybe word it different," Kida said, listening to Jameson's story. "Maybe say "I've got it finished but it's buggy" or "It isn't completely ready." Not "It's ready" and then get your tits in a twist when it blows up in our faces. You want us to trust you, you have to trust us in return, Jameson. And get off the "You ain't Red anymore" bullshit. There's three former Red Rangers in this bitch, two of whom would be better suited in my suit then me. You may have been a Red Ranger, Jameson, but you haven't grown up. It's time to start." She reached over and grabbed Jaxon's communicator, thankful that it and the morpher were the same device, and slammed it into the Red Mystic Ranger's chest. "Now. You are going to find him. Before Amaranth, Ridenio, or whoever else shows their ugly ass faces does and he's powerless to stop it. Alpha can finish the Soul. You need to go. Now." She pointed to the door, stepping out of his way.
Jameson sighed and saluted. "Alright..." he said, taking off.
After Jameson left, Kida turned to Aaron. "Alright, your turn. Who'd you find and why bring them here?"

After seeing Kida step up to check Jameson after how he spoke to Jaxon, JT nodded in approval, impressed with how the Red Ranger handled the situation and sticking up for their team. In truth, her respect for the former SPD Ranger went up a little with the knowledge that she at least has their back, even when they make a mistake. Now that Jameson had gone to sort things out with Jaxon, the attention was turned to Aaron and his guest.
"I'm pretty sure that if you had some needs to be fulfilled, you could have taken her back to your place or at least a motel." JT smirked, addressing the Black Ranger.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, Princess but she's not here for that so your dreams aren't dashed just yet."
"More like your fantasy but go on.." JT said in response, trading light jabs with the resident shinobi.
"Anyways, to answer Kida's questions, I brought her here because Jameson asked me to." Aaron began to explain. "And this is Mayumi Nishimura - SRS White Ranger. She came through the portals like we did but because the placement has been so tricky, she jumped through after me but landed here months before we did." He said, introducing her to the group. "Oh Mayumi, this is Kida Frost, our fearless leader. That's Rina Hidari, our Green. Jaxon is our Blue who just got chewed out and this is JT. She's still a bit dainty, so Princess is fine."

Rina looked over and gave a small salute. “Nice to meet you. Any friends we can get are a welcome one, considering nobody must of heard what I said about Ridenio thinking our worlds are gone forever.” she said, resting against the counter and crossing her arms over her chest.

Mayumi bowed and looked at the other Rangers. "It's nice to meet you. I'm sorry it's under such....interesting moments," she said with a small smile. "Honestly, I was surprised just to find Aaron. I dind't think anyone else from home was here."
Kida walked over to Rina and put her arm around her friend's shoulder. "Sorry, sweetie. I was gonna say something but with the boneheaded doofuses going after each other, it got lost in the shuffle," she said with an apologetic smile. "Come on, frowny pants. Now we really outnumber the boys."

Satisfied with Mayumi's introduction, JT turned her attention to Rina who seemed down thanks to Ridenio's bold claim. She thought about it and smiled, feeling as though the villains was blowing smoke.
"Hey, I think he was just screwing with you." JT claimed. "Remember, Jaxon and I are from the same universe but at different points. If our universe was wiped out, in theory, I still shouldn't be standing here right now."
"That's a good point, Princess." Aaron acknowledged her point before bringing in his dose of realism. "But there's still so much we don't know about what brought us here and the whole damn multiverse." Aaron countered. "I want the bastard to be wrong, but it'd be foolish to rule out that maybe we're anomalies now and whatever force dragged us here is protecting us from whatever changes are being made to our worlds."

When Jaxon left, he was fed up. It wasn't enough that he had to swallow his tongue the last time but for someone to blame him for their own mistake, that was the breaking point. Jaxon headed to the one place he could sure left off some steam. The Angel Grove Auditorium and by chance when he entered, It looked like it was set up for a wrestling event, complete with a 20x20 wrestling ring. Jaxon waisted no hesitation as he grabbed several training landing pads and dummies and put them in the ring before he too climbed inside and started running the ropes before doing several wrestling moves on the dummies and the landing pads. "But what if he's right?" Kida asked. "On my Earth, Ridenio never lied. Anything he said, happened. He said he'd kill David, he did. Storm SPD and take over Delta Command? Did it. I...might be the odd voice of dissent, but I'm going to assume he's right. Not say he is, but just hold onto the fact that he might be."
Mayumi nodded, wrapping her arms around herself. "Proto told us a lot of lies, and also a lot of truths. I want my home to be safe, and I want to be able to go home and see my brother, my friends...but if we're stuck, we're stuck. We'll have to hold out hope and see what happens, right?"
"And that, Ms. Nishimura, is what being a Ranger is about. Seeing both sides of teh argument and being able to make sense of it. It takes courage to say that you want the desired outcome, but also strength to say that if the outcome is the negative one, that is acceptable too." Zordon said.
Rina nodded. "Hopefully Jameson can talk some sense into Jaxon. Or I'll kick both of their asses," she said.
Kida nodded, sighing softly. She looked up as the alarms went off again, groaning. "Great."
"It's those two from before. Ennar and Urasa. They're in downtown. A half block from the wrestling tournament at the Auditorium!' Alpha said.
"Alright, guys. Let's go," Kida said, looking at Aaron, Rina, and JT.
"I can fight too!" Mayumi said.
"Mayumi, please stay here. Without your Ranger powers or your shinobi skills, you'd be a hiderance in the battle. Please, stay here," Kida said.
"I will finish work on the MicroSpeeder and BrachiChain Souls and get them to you as fast as I can," Alpha said. "Thankfully I have Jameson's notes on how to finish it."
"Let's go, guys," Kida said.

Jameson, having followed Jaxon and having a pretty good idea where he'd go, walked into the auditorium and saw the Blue Ranger in the ring. "Y'know...you wanna let off soem steam, how about an opponent that can fight back?" he asked, stepping up on the side of the ring. "I want to talk. And apologize, explain why I went off on you like I did. Ten minutes?"

For Aaron, this was just another notch on this damn portal that he couldn't even explain. It seems as though with this portal, it has varying effects on those who passed through it. For Kida and Rina, they were still able to use their Rider abilities whereas Jaxon could still use his animal spirit and Aaron his jutsu with the exception of summoning but neither could be used while morphed. Now with Mayumi coming through this portal, she couldn't use any of her jutsu, thus making this entire ordeal even more difficult to understand.
"Look at the bright side." Aaron said to Mayumi. "You get to see how awesome I am even without jutsu."
"That's if you can still fit that head of yours inside of the helmet still." JT mumbled, seemingly ready to follow Kida out.

Kida laughed and smiled. "Come on," she said, teleporting out with Rina and heading for downtown.

"Kida, yeah. She's convincing when she's pissy," Jameson said with a bit of a smile. He sighed, sitting on the edge of the ring and looking up at Jaxon. "I'm sorry, Jaxon. I...I've seen this kind of gung-ho attitude in the past, and I started projecting old emotions from my Mystic Force days onto you. You remind me of my Green and Yellow Rangers put together, and it's a combination I don't think I was really ready for. I'm sorry I didn't say anything about the MicroSpeeder Soul not being completely ready. When Alpha said it was ready, it was ready for more testing, and I didn't think to correct him. He gave me a Steel Edge Saber to test the powers on, but without a suit of my own, testing them is dangerous. Moving forward, I'll probably need everyones help testing them otherwise I'll probably kill myself."
He sighed, looking at the Blue Triceratops Soul in his hand. "Y'know...I never wanted to give up the Ranger thing. I loved being Red Ranger, and it was the best year of my life. You can probably relate, right? The rush of leading your friends into a situation you may or may not walk of, the thrill of the first battle, your pulse in your ears as you're fighting to stay alive. I'm jealous of you and JT both being out in the fight, even if it's not your preferred or normal color. And I'm sorry I keep jumping on the "Get out of the Red Ranger mentality" when we talk. I'll do my best to break that habit." He set the Soul on the mat, hopping up. "You can take it or leave it. No matter what, that Soul's yours. Just like the choice is."
Someone came running inside screaming, a referee running over. "What's wrong?!"
"Monsters! Monsters outside!" the bystander yelled. "Ugly black creatures and a pair of bigger....things that look like orcs or something from a video game!"
Jameson sighed. "Of course." He looked at Jaxon, cocking an eyebrow. "Your choice, my dude."

Overhearing what Jameson had to say, Jaxon's mind was racing.. The whole leader mentality thing and gung-ho attitude Jaxon could understand. Jaxon also understood the whole, "Once a Ranger..." mentality too and also the pain in the ass for ranger team mates but the jealousy of not being a ranger...He couldn't understand.
Someone came running inside screaming, a referee running over. "What's wrong?!"

Jameson sighed. "Of course." He looked at Jaxon, cocking an eyebrow. "Your choice, my dude."
Jaxon walked up to Jameson and looked him dead in the eyes. "I understand where your coming from. I really do. But as you've noticed, just because your not a ranger, doesn't mean you don't have power and it sure as hell don't mean you can't fight.. You said that you still have your magic? That's just as good as anything and even if you ain't got the magic, you still have this..." Jaxon said as he used his pointer finger and touched the spot where Jameson's heart would be. "Magic, Beast Spirit, Martial Arts....All are great...But they are nothing without that... That's the reason as to why the princess fell for you." Jaxon stated before he bent down and picked up the Tricera Soul. "Now, if you'll excuse me. My ass is about to gung ho in round two with Ennar." Jaxon stated as he took a run to the ropes behind him, running past Jameson, leaping into the air and front flipping over the top rope of the ring to land on his feet below and running head first into the disturbance.
